Currently weaving through one of the set up scare houses, Luke was more interested in getting any glimpse of the behind of the scenes workings.  Although when faced with the constantly approaching horror characters, Luke merely just blinked and eyed them back, his indifference likely being why they backed away after a good few moments. Spotting a decorated curtain then around piled props, Luke made his way over, pulling it back calculatingly. Meanwhile, one scare actor at the opposite side looked busy taking a quick break. Noticing another figure come up near him among the multitude of Halloween themed noises and flashing strobe lights, he turned slightly towards them. “Looking for a five second head start?” He nodded forward, asking despite if they were simply another Horror Nights guest or done-up employee.

       The abandoned theme park had a sense of eeriness to it, a discomforting feeling swarming through her as she immersed herself in the crowd of partygoers. She reminded herself as she crept through the FESTIVAL OF THE DEADLIEST scare zone with a few others around her that there was nothing to be afraid of; this festival was for fun only. And even though she didn’t mind horror films, the gnawing feeling of anticipation that something was going to lurk out and scare her ate away at her, the very hairs on her neck standing tall. “This place isn’t so scary,” she mumbles somewhat confidently to a fellow partygoer nearby, despite the  shakiness to her tone, followed by a soft chuckle. But as a skeleton threw itself into her path with a chilling scream sounding in the background, her nervous laughter ceased with a scream of her own, jumping into the arms of the person she’d just been talking to. “God,” she breathes, clutching her chest now, her other hand still clutching the middle of the person beside her; once realising that was still the case, she slips her arm away, an apologetic smile present on her features. “I’m so sorry, I just—didn’t expect that. I should’ve, but I didn’t.”

Wren Evergreen| Halloween 2017| Purple Witch Wren loves Halloween, but is a scaredy cat when it comes to the horror. Ever since she was a kid, she was more of a decorate pumpkins and watch Halloweentown kind of girl, while he brother always loved to dress up as something undead to scare her. Her parents often threw extravagant Halloween parties in their mansion that screamed ‘Haunted’ since the late 1800′s, but with their split, and her Father on Business in Prague, it was the perfect time to uphold the tradition on her end. The only reason she agreed to go to Six Flags beforehand was because all of her other friends finally convinced her, begging her that they would stick together. In that fashion, Wren thought that if she dressed up as something spooky, she might feel a little more confident walking in to her worst nightmare. She chose a purple witch, something with roots in New Orleans and power that might, for the night, make her feel safe...er.  Here are some things overheard on that night... *muffled screaming* “Please please...oh god nobody jump out at me...I swear to god why did I come here. Why. Why. Oh-okay nobody around this corner-AHHH. Holy fu-okay, it’s okay Wren just a guy with an axe. You just have to find your friends. You’re sure they went this way.” “The hair? Oh yeah-it’s only semi permanent, I think...at least that’s what it said on the box. It looked like I was washing myself off after being in a coal mine for months when I had to take a shower. It’s striking right? I definitely know I can’t pull of being brunette-oh you mean the costume? Yeah, I’m a witch. Of course you’ve heard the stories right? Voodoo magic isn’t dead here in New Orleans, us witches are alive and as real as can be. Don’t cross me, or I’ll hex you.”

“Graceeeee, we’re out of those cute little cupcakes with the spiders on top could you get some more, but also...save one for me. Oh and-my Dad’s bedroom door is still locked right? If someone got in there and so much as touched his cuff-link collection I would never hear the end of it.” “Could you maybe stay a little bit longer. I-I’m still spooked from earlier and I don’t really want to sleep here alone. I could take the couch, and I promise breakfast in the morning.”
