I’ve always had trouble with Lynette. Partly because she’s (mainly) a fantasy character, and while I do well with them in story they don’t function well with me irl, and due to her size. Reglisse was one of my absolute grails, way before I had the chance to go to Ldoll to get one. She seemed unattainable. But due to the lack of info I assumed she was the same size as Raspberry (~40cm), and when I first went to Ldoll I walked past Asella’s stand at least a few times before I realised she had a few Reglisse for sale, as I was only looking at the larger ones.

I still got one, but I do wish she was a bit taller, as she has one of my absolute favourite faces out of all dolls I’ve seen. I even had her for sale for a bit, but I’m happy now she didn’t sell. The pink of her skin has faded quite a bit in the three years I’ve owned her, so I decided to completely change her image into a more “human” one (and just slightly change her story without affecting my other fantay characters to go with it), and I’m glad I did. I took a too large wig (7-8″) that I loved the style of on her, and sewed it in a few cm in the back to fit. Then I knitted her (with my limited skills) a scarf from fairy dust and unicorn tears (just look at that colour!), and put her in a dress I had up for sale but accidentally spilled coffee on so I cannot sell anymore (which turned out to be a win!). And damn, I love this look on her. I just need to make her some leggings and possibly leg warmers now. She fits in with the rest as an adorable young woman now, although one of extremely short stature.

The idea for the look was mostly because at the Ldoll after (2014) there was a Reglisse for sale I’d totally have bought if she wasn’t already sold, as I loved her style. She had neck length red hair and a grey casual dress, so I decided for my own to emulate the overall “feel” of the look.

Just letting Tumblr people know that barbie now makes stretchy clothes that are compatible to all their new bodies. This means it's tight enough around the waist and stretchy enough around the bust and hips of noble dolls. I'm quite pleased with the fit and will be picking up more clothes :3
