Could be just. Standard cultivation stuff though, couldn’t it? Like isn’t it a thing that the Inazuma nobishi guys don’t have visions but can wield some kind of art that lets them use elemental stuff? I’ve heard someone say it’s a lore thing that it comes from Liyue (might’ve been Ashikai) as well as the interesting thoughts about external foci for some of the adepti.

yeah it does come from Liyue, you're right. i'd completely forgotten about that- so i guess that could be it. humans could just idk eventually figure out a way to control the elements if only partially via the arts of the non-human population 🤔
