He wasn't much of a shopper to begin with, but doing it on his own had seemed like an absolutely miserable idea, the more that he thought about it. "I mean, when I was a kid, we had Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh. Are kids still into that?"

It was the second day of the Summer music festival, and Callum was on Dad duty. He had been looking forward to spending the day with Avie and showing her that, despite the eye-rolls, her old man was still fun. It was also a special day, as Callum had asked Noa to come join them. The two had grown closer over the Summer, and although she had met Avie many times before, he wanted to spend a day with all three of them together. It was important to him to always include his daughter, but he also knew that part of him wanted Avie and Noa to bond. Callum had grown a bond with Noa's father, so it felt like it mattered that he shared his family with her, too, whenever he could. The circumstances were obviously different, but for Callum, it meant something.

He returned with the slushy Avie had ordered to find she had already made a friend at one of the games. Callum laughed and sipped the drink as the kids played. Then he spotted Noa approaching and quickly jogged to meet her, an arm tightly wrapping around her as he kissed her cheek. "Hey, thanks for coming..."

The sheer number of yellow hearts I saw upon pressing read more had me smiling so hard. This is what happens when you kin Ichiro ig. And yes, his crime is very similar to Haruka's, but I'm sure there are some differences between the two. Maybe. The first being that Ichiro didn't kill any animals.

You're right, Akane and Noa really are "sympathetic" compared to many of prisoners we've seen in Milgram (canon or otherwise). But I'm okay with that. :) Not every murderer needs to be morally grey or complicated. Some murders are complete accidents or deserved and that's just how it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Daisuke having the biggest number of hearts ASHJDKSJDKSJDSK Yeah, he's better as a pathetic wet meow meow, isn't he? The worst I make him, the more you guys go 🎉🎉 I can't blame you, I'm enjoying this too. And yes, I'm really excited for his t3 development too! :DD His relationship with Ryuto is gonna be explored to the fullest, so look forward to that! Or don't. Its a rough ride.

Suzume has the best aesthetic, hands down. Whenever I picture her casual clothes, I implode on the inside. Yes, her yandere side is finally out in the open! XDD But let's not forget that her boyfriend was toxic in his own right. Can't wait to explore their messed up relationship more, haha. As for the girl she killed... You'll see. :)

You have a point, Haku really is a walking red flag. I thought he was going to be voted guilty for t2, but surprisingly, no. Congratulations, he will be enabled. At least you guys will get more information on his motives. :D I don't know what's going on with Aimi and her accomplice, but let's just say Haku didn't have the best of intentions in mind for his brother. Ahem. Will elaborate in t3.

Yui's hair turning white from stress is a neat detail. :)) Sometimes, picrew problems can lead to some fun twists in stories. And hold on to that bad feeling, her crime is so muddled and messy. 😭😭

We certainly learned a lot more about Kiyoshi's crime and background in this trial! Uh, about Yuta's interaction with Kiyoshi. You're quite close. :))

AURORA HIIIII i am so sorry i just got the time to reply ;w; okay okay here's what i think about your prisoners now! apologies if my opinions are mostly the same, i rarely change my mind when it comes to characters, unless they do something that makes me hate them with all my heart or makes me become obsessed with them.

ICHIROOOOOO MY SON!! i need to bite his head off. yes i want to bully him. and yes i feel bad for him and want him to get better. yes. "wdym you want his gender" well maybe i do want to look like him! a little bit! yes i mean his t2 version too i LOVE his t2 design!

i find ichiro's crime very interesting, it's like, at the same time it definitely feels connected to haruka (not in a bad way!), but it also feels very different? i'm not sure in what way though. i can't say i forgive him tbh, but i still want him to get a break.. for now.

i really want to learn more about him and what his relationship with his other family members is like! like, was he close with his mom? does he hate his stepfather or just doesn't care about him? maybe he actually liked his little brother and if it wasn't for the lack of attention, he wouldn't have killed him? HHHHHHHH i'd also love to see him interact with some of my future prisoners for.. reasons <3

akane is like.. idk how to explain. she's a very good character, she definitely is. however, when it comes to her crime.. i can't help but feel like she's a little bit too sympathetic? it's not a bad thing of course! maybe i'm just too used to my ocs being way too dangerous shdjksksk. but like, i guess the only possible reason why she could be voted guilty or why someone could think more deeply about her verdict is maybe her still being kinda.. you know.. like this >:(? like her anger issues and all that. but who knows, maybe her getting voted innocent twice in a row will get to her head and make her pull a muu, though i doubt it. anyway, i love her and i want her to get better.

OHHHH daisuke. the bbg himself. you know what i don't want him to go to therapy. i don't want him to get help. yes i voted him innocent, but also, the trauma really is entertaining <3 (i am so sorry for this joke but every time it's mentioned how often he smokes, i'm like. dude istg if you keep at it you're gonna die before your execution 😭😭) but i'm very curious to see his t3 development!! the angst!! the drama!! i'm eating it up!! i wish i could say smth about his crime, but my head is really empty rn so i'm just gonna say that his mv is really creepy in a good way 👍and i've said it before, but his relationship with ryuto is really interesting and well-written! i'd love to learn more about ryuto himself as well.

haku.. man. THIS BOY IS A RED FLAG. I'M TELLING YOU HE'S A RED FLAG!! the whole "ohhh i just wanted to protect my brother 🥺🥺" thing does NOT make me trust him. like i have a bad feeling about him okay. there is SOMETHING going on. even if these two are just very codependent (or haku is just way too obsessed with his brother's safety), i'm still shaking my head. what if haku manages to get out and then somebody else becomes a threat to kurosaki's safety? i have a feeling that he'd try to kill again. him being so calm also kinda makes me nervous. like i want this guy to get a humbling experience. or maybe i'm just thinking way too deeply about this. haku and kurosaki's relationship couldn't possibly be worse or as bad as aimi and her accomplice's.

YUI!!!! THE GIRLBOSS HERSELF. i love her! i love her a lot! her hair becoming white because of stress is such a creepy detail, i love it. and her relationship with himiko is so. MAN... however.. tbh, i'm still not sure that i forgive her? even if her murder really was an accident.. i don't know, like, again, i have a bad feeling. HER T1 COVER WAS INMF. THAT'S ALREADY A HUGE RED FLAG. like who's to say that she wouldn't actually try to kill someone? like i think she's definitely able to do that, especially considering the way her t2 version acts. also i love how yui really is very hardworking and her job as an idol really did help her become stronger in some way. that's where her and riku are actually not so similar: if anything, riku's reputation as a "popular boy who is also in a band" actually made his mental state much worse.

rin is so pathetic and like. in an affectionate way. like i want to bite him and i want to call him a loser, but in a good way. i find it very interesting that he actually used to have some health problems when he was younger and his relationship with renho breaks my heart. and still, WHAT'S WITH THE DOLL IN HIS MV. WHAT ABOUT IT. i wonder if his t3 mv will also have a seasons theme. a winter one, maybe? /j i love his aesthetic a lot, it's very soft and very pretty! other than that. head empty. this guy is way too much of a simp /lh

OKAY OKAY listen i definitely have more to say about kiyoshi now. i wonder what his relationship with his coworkers was like. was he under some kind of pressure? maybe they made fun of him for being too soft or something like that? i also remember yuta's profile mentioning that he knows what to say to make people angry, so it'd be really interesting if what he said to kiyoshi ever came up. however, he still feels guilty to me. idk man maybe don't?? attack and kill a guy just because something he said made you go >:(?? like, did yuta actually try to kill him? did yuta actually try to hurt him physically? idk, i don't think kiyoshi's murder can be called self-defense if all that happened was yuta going "you suck" and kiyoshi going "N O" djdkdkld. and also it shows that he's still capable of murder so... yeah!

I'm glad you like Haruto!!! I really like his design and personality too! XD Milgram guards who take their job really seriously are fine and all but I'd like to bring someone chaotic to the table, ya know?

Its very easy to write Haruto as an amnesiac because I literally haven't given his backstory any thought at all! Everything I've written for him so far has been based off of the vibes™ he gives me. My creative process is great, I know.

Yeah, its easier to notice Ichiro when he's interacting with someone else, because he can easily contrast anyone who tries to talk to him! :0 Once I reveal what his actual crime was though, I don't think he's ever getting voted innocent, haha. Its all downhill from here, boys!

Can you believe that its been a year since we played this bingo game? Time flies, huh? Anyway, I was thinking that I could tell you my in-depth opinions of your Milgram ocs (and vice versa) before we move onto trial 2! and speaking of trial 2, i'm not sure if i'll be able to post stuff like album covers and everyone's designs this month (maybe i'll post a pre-t2 voice drama or two though), because of irl things and i still have a lot of art to work on, but i already know how everyone will act and i have everyone's song titles and trailer voicelines ready and. yeah my ocs' t2 versions will act so different from their t1 versions 😭

anyway, here's what i think about your milgram ocs!

HARUTO >>>> no really i love him a lot! his design is so 💕💖💞💓💗 he sure is a pretty boy! he's very fun to draw and i like how he actually looks like a guard in that picrew!

now, about his personality. i love how chill and relaxed he is, his personality is like a nice break from those guards who take their job much more seriously (*ahem* es, eiji and miki). it's really cool how he understands that all of this is some kind of experiment too, because again, those guards believe that milgram is always right no matter what and never (or rarely) question it. i find very interesting how he's so unpredictable, but his verdicts also sound.. reasonable? (well, if we're talking about the canon ones) like he doesn't jump to conclusions and also his decisions are understandable. and it feels refreshing to see a character who's an amnesiac, but doesn't really care about his memories and who he really is. i have this theory that haruto was, like, a completely average person and his memories really aren't that important, but maybe he was "chill" in a different way, like maybe he was just very apathetic? maybe that's why he has a feeling that his memories don't really matter? i'm very excited to see him in season 2! maybe he will get some character development?

ichiro!! my son!! my blorbo!! i would be terrified of him irl but i still relate to him a completely normal amount okay, okay, gonna be honest, i didn't know what to do with him when you posted his poll, like, at the same time i don't think forgiving him is the best decision, but also.. it's complicated, like, i think i need more info about him and his crime.

i love how he just goes with the flow and doesn't really care about anything and the fact that he likes to draw makes him even more cute <3 his mood swings make him more realistic too, like he's not just -_- most of the time, like he's actually a very emotional person!

about the "part of a dynamic" part, i just think that even though ichiro's personality is what makes him unique, when it's just him, there's not much to talk about, i guess? like i think his personality truly stands out when he's interacting with someone else. i still like him a lot though!

akane!! i don't have much to say about her, but i really do think she's innocent, at least right now, and as i've said before, i thought that an innocent verdict could "calm her down" and make her open up a bit more, also i just don't think her crime was that bad, like i think you said it was self-defense in some way? even if it wasn't, i really don't think that akane is a type of person who would kill someone for no reason at all and i trust her. also i really like her cuter tsundere side too, hehe <3 i would still find her intimidating irl though.

also i really like the parallels between ichiro and akane, like, the first one still acts like a small child, meanwhile the other one is more mature (even though she doesn't seem like it at first?), it's like.. both of them are coping in a different way, i guess? makes me think about haruka and yuno too.

it's daisuke's turn! I WANT TO BITE HIM DJFHKSDKSLLS /pos. okay, he's another milgram oc of yours that i would be too scared to talk to irl i'm just a scaredy cat okay but i really do think he's innocent, again, at least right now, like i don't care about his job, you know, do what you gotta do, and when it comes to his crime.. idk, i'm really getting innocent vibes. like, if he regrets it, that's enough for me to forgive him. and come on, his poor little meow meow energy is so strong! you've also mentioned that he's suffering from survivor's guilt which is.. interesting. i really don't have any theories right now and i'll need more info to understand his crime better, but i'm excited to find out more about him! also all the women rejecting him is so funny HDHSKSKSKKD he's such a loser /affectionate

i think you've said that suzume is that one oc you've struggled with the most and tbh i think i can see that? not in a bad way, of course, it's just.. she kinda has that energy, like, she was added later than everyone else, i guess? like at the same time i really like her but i don't have that much to say about her? i do have my theories though and also her mv is one of my favorites! really wanna draw something based on it when i have the time, hehe.

i LOVE her design though, she's so pretty 💖💖 she kinda has that "third sanada sibling" vibe /j about the "didn't get enough screentime" part, i just.. it's like i can't really understand her personality, i guess? like i remember reading her profile and her voice drama and still going "WHO ARE YOU" JDJKDKSLDKS. like, i can describe everyone else's personality traits, but when it comes to suzume, i'm like ".. uhhh her mv has pretty crystals :D" AND THAT'S NOT EVEN A PERSONALITY TRAIT. that interaction with shun has helped me understand her a bit better though! . i am going to be honest with you, i genuinely forget that haku exists sometimes AND I DON'T KNOW WHY 😭 like i really love his design, i think he's very (unintentionally) funny, his mv also makes me THINK, but also. i don't know why, he's just so forgettable djsdjksksl?? like, whenever i feel like i forgot one of your ocs, my brain goes "you know. the one who has a brother" and i'm like "OHHHHHHH", like the piano part isn't even the first thing i think about??

again. i would be too scared of him to talk to him if i ever met haku irl. i can't describe it, it's just.. the vibes are weird. like i voted him innocent, mostly because i just felt like it would be weird for me to vote him guilty when i don't even know anything about his crime *insert kei's 100% guilty rate joke here* also. i might be wrong and i won't be surprised if i am wrong, but. is it just me or haku's brother's vibes are weird too. like i don't wanna say he manipulated him or something but like. i feel like there is a reason why haku was so loyal to him and it's not necessarily "oh, you know, they are family, they're very close and all", i feel like it goes deeper than that and it's actually darker. i may be overthinking it though.

YUI!!! one of my faves, honestly. probably because i had a long idol/music games and anime phase. i love her design a lot, she's very pretty!! she's such an interesting character too, because like.. at the same time the fact that she refuses to admit the fact that she's a murderer annoys me a bit also come on her milgram cover is inmf, but also i kinda believe her? like maybe it wasn't an accident, but an indirect murder? like she really was the reason why her victim died, but it's not like, you know, she did it with her own hands. that would be so embarrassing though, like she's really not doing well because of her guilty verdict right now and then it turns out that it really was an accident 😭 very excited to see her go crazy <3

listen. again. sorry for mentioning their designs all the time, i'm that kind of person who cares a lot about the visuals, but i really like rin's design! he's very cute!

(also a note: i actually can imagine all your ocs as milgram characters? like they have the perfect designs for that, i think. like they're not too bright and colorful, but they're still easy to remember and i think that's cool and they fit the whole milgram aesthetic really well! like, i wanted to try and draw my ocs in milgram art style, but i kinda gave up because i couldn't imagine them actually looking like milgram characters at all djdkslsl)

but when it comes to his other traits.. i really don't have much to say? like seriously, if i had a chance to talk to him, i would just go "get over it" sjhskaslsls. i have no idea what that girl did, like maybe she started dating someone or simply spending more time with someone, but come on, dude, get up, this is embarrassing. him being the youngest prisoner doesn't help his case either, like i can't take his crime seriously at all, i'm sorry :'D but who knows, maybe he'll turn out to be the most scary and dangerous prisoner here!

noa is another forgettable one for me, i'm sorry djfhnkdsl. i have a habit to refer to noa and suzume as a set, like, you know, sad girls who have some kind of love-related problems. it doesn't mean i don't like noa though! i just really don't know much about her and i don't know what to say about her. i would love to learn more about her relationship with her husband though and like.. how and why her whole crime even happened. and it's nice to see that your prisoners have a good older sister figure here if we don't count her using alcohol as a coping mechanism <3 her dynamic with rin is cute too!

OHHHH kiyoshi is a difficult one. like i voted him innocent (i think so? i don't remember that well actually), but.. i can't help but feel like something is wrong. like i really can't believe that it was just "self-defense". come on, his song title is literally "true colors", THERE MUST BE SOMETHING. but if he's just obsessed with justice or something and he saw what he did as self-defense, i won't be surprised. and the fact that he's more cheerful now also makes me feel like kiyoshi has a darker side that he hasn't shown yet. like don't think i will go easy on you this time, old man, i'll be watching you very closely <3 (also i remember you saying that riku and kiyoshi would get along well? i wonder what you meant by that.. maybe it was about the "everyone relies on them, but they can't rely on anyone" bit?)

and another one with scary vibes jsjksklsls maybe i'm just not a fan of characters who kill for justice, their morals or what they think is "right"? like something about that sounds messed up to me. and yes, i voted mayumi guilty AND I DON'T REGRET IT OKAY. sure, maybe your patient was a criminal, but again, you're a nurse and you should do your job. don't think that you have the right to decide his fate or anything like that. i'm sure mayumi really had good intentions and she really is a kind person, but yeah, right now i can't say she's innocent or that i'm planning to forgive her in season 2.

Haruto: The date is 1 November XXXX. On October 31, the prisoners were offered two options to choose from as a Halloween special: trick or treat. I wasn't aware of this until today.

Prisoner 001: Kanai Ichiro chose treat and received a sample of clay. He was still fascinated with it this morning despite receiving it last night. I wouldn't be surprised if he's hyperfixating.

But... I'm pretty sure he's playing with it to distract himself from the crying. He told Noa-san about it and then she told me. According to Ichiro, there's a baby on his bed that won't stop crying. He only appeared this morning when Ichiro woke up. He moved to the cafeteria, but he can still hear the crying.

Ichiro is a prisoner that obviously hasn't been mentally well even before he was brought to Milgram, but when most of the prisoners are seeing people in their rooms, I know its not another one of his hallucinations. You... You're pretty fucked up for orchestrating something like this. Everyone was already-! [Haruto groans and tussles his hair frustratedly.] Whatever. On with the report.

Prisoner 002: Kobayashi Akane chose treat and received a CD of "A silent voice". She plans to watch it tonight in Noa-san's room after dinner. Even though the screen in her room has a CD player, she avoids it because her father is in there. She told me he started beating her in a rage when she woke up, but her arms show no marks or bruising. Apparently it felt real to her. She also thinks these "hallucinations" can't leave the prisoners' rooms because her father didn't follow her when she ran out of her room.

[Haruto flips through his notepad on his table.] What the hell is even happening anymore?

Ah, prisoner 003: Iwamoto Daisuke chose treat and received a photo of his friend Ryuto at a company dinner. He showed me. Um, Daisuke-kun must really appreciate suits. His friend's a handsome guy who can't be bothered to smile for the camera. I'm somehow not surprised.

Interestingly, Daisuke-kun doesn't see his friend in his room. Instead, all the guilty prisoners had a dream where they met a strange man.

For Daisuke-kun, he can only remember the man wearing the weirdest suit and matching hat. Lime green, purple and orange stripes. If I had to see that, I would consider it a nightmare. All the man said was: "Did you do it for him, or did you do it for you?" Daisuke-kun didn't feel like talking after that, so I let him be.

Prisoner 004: Toma Suzume chose treat and the monitor in her room started playing a recording of her mother calling the police to report her disappearance. That explains why she was crying this morning.

She only remembers a shadowy figure waving a silver wand about in her dream. He leaned in close and asked: "Is this your love?" Suzume-san answered "yes" and he laughed. Freaky, but okay.

Prisoner 005: Endo Haku chose trick "out of curiosity" and received a camera. I checked it out this morning and it just seemed like a normal camera to me. Haku-chan showed me that the camera had future telling properties when he used it. He demonstrated by pointing the camera at an empty bench in the cafeteria. On the screen, Yui-san was shown to be sitting there. He took a picture and sure enough, Yui-san came over to sit by the spot soon after. Um, what a useful camera?

He reported to me that his victim appeared in his room this morning as well, but was strangely silent the whole time. The only thing he did was stare at Haku-chan, albeit angrily. Which is unusual because he's the only victim who hasn't vocalized at least once.

Prisoner 006: Sasaki Yui chose treat and received new earrings with blue bow charms. She's really excited about them, started styling her hair again and everything. But her good mood is mostly due to her dear friend greeting her in the morning. She teared up when she told me about how cheerful and beautiful Himiko was just as she remembered. To be honest, it was giving me fr... Never mind. I'm glad they can reunite, even under shitty circumstances like this.

Prisoner 007: Shigeru Rin chose trick because that's what he felt the options were and received an airhorn to assault the other prisoners with. Compared to Haku-chan's magic camera, Rin-chan's gift is more of a harmless object to prank people with. Unless the airhorn has some magical properties I don't know about.

Rin-chan wasn't as happy with seeing Renho as Yui-san was to see Himiko, with him finally feeling guilty about his crime. According to him, Renho doesn't blame him but is miffed about dying so young. I'm not sure how much of that is true, but he tells me they're talking it out. I can't see or hear Renho anyway, so I'll leave them to it.

Prisoner 008: Watanabe Noa chose treat and received this pretty beach themed jar of sand. Its all white and shimmery, with seashells and an opened oyster with a pearl inside. Super cute. She hadn't come out to make breakfast this morning, so I was worried about her mental state when I went to check on her. I didn't have to worry though. She looked really happy talking to herself (her husband) in her room, so I left her to it. I don't think I've ever seen her genuinely happy. And uh, I ended up making breakfast for everyone even though I woke up late.

Prisoner 009: Miyahara Kiyoshi chose treat and received an apple from his hometown. Its famous for its apples and said apples a have distinct taste. I'm not the expert, so I'll take his word for it.

In his dream, the weird man was wearing a monocle. I asked Kiyoshi-san if the man was wearing a suit as well, and he answered: "Now that I think about it, yes. But its blurry in my head." I guess each guilty prisoner focused on a certain aspect of the man. Kiyoshi-san also didn't seem to be planning on telling me what the man said to him until I asked. "Just accept your punishment quietly." A reference to Kiyoshi-san's guilty verdict perhaps?

Prisoner 010: Okura Mayumi...claimed that she chose treat and received a cupcake. Since Kiyoshi-san received an apple, its not weird for prisoners to receive food. But the cupcake didn't seem to hold any sentimental value for Mayumi-san. She said something about helping her mother bake when she was younger, but I'm still not convinced.

Strangely, she's the only innocent prisoner that doesn't see her victim in her room. Instead, she had a weird dream like the guilty prisoners. She was in an empty cinema hall with the strange man. The thing she remembered about him was his conniving smile. I asked Mayumi-san what he said to her, but she claimed he hadn't said anything.

I'm not sure what the purpose of this Halloween special is, but it can't be anything good as long as there are tricks involved. The hallucinations as well? Give me a break. [Haruto leans back, burying his face in his hands.] You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?

What do you even expect me to do in this situation?

[Haruto sighs, uncovering his face.] Shit. What else can I do but adapt.

"Aha, except!" he clapped his hands together, turning to look at Noa with a big grin on his face, much like the kids that they were talking about, "did you know that they sell Tamagothcis and Furbies right now? The Furbies look different, though," and he wasn't sure that he wanted to put his nieces and nephews through that. The toys were fun the first time around, but the way that everything was so technologically advanced now did sort of take some of the charm and fun away from them. He didn't want that. "But, you raise a good point," his shoulders sagged as he said it, letting out a breath, and starting for the toy store. "Maybe if we just go in and look around, we'll have some better luck? Sometimes you don't know until you see it, and then inspiration strikes," he pulled open the door, gesturing for her to head in first.

"I know that they say you can just think about what you were into as a kid to make shopping for kids easier at Christmas but... I'm clueless," Darrius admitted with a small sigh as he looked over at Noa, having gently coaxed her into going shopping with him. Although he wasn't sure that she had put up that much resistance, thankfully. He wasn't much of a shopper to begin with, but doing it on his own had seemed like an absolutely miserable idea, the more that he thought about it. "I mean, when I was a kid, we had Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh. Are kids still into that?"

Haruto: [Runs a hand across his face tiredly.] The second trial has ended. I've announced the verdicts to every prisoner. Thanks to this trial's batch of guilty prisoners, nothing bad happened. I've got to commend them for keeping their cool.

Then again... It seems they all wanted to be voted guilty anyway.

Every prisoner previously voted guilty was voted innocent this time around, so they all reacted well enough to the news.

I gave Ichi-kun his soft toy back. He hugged it with a squeal when I brought it to him. It wasn't a cute noise, but I couldn't help smiling anyway. [Haruto chuckles.] He gets to draw with his crayons too, so he's looking forward to that. Best of all, he's stopped slamming his head into things, which is a great relief.

Aka-chan gets to keep her innocent streak, so she's happy as a peach. I should be more careful since she doesn't feel guilty about her murder at all, but honestly... I believe her claim about only wanting her dad dead. She told me she wants to celebrate by dyeing her hair. So, that will be interesting. She's become even less anxious and aggressive, which is great. Happy prisoners, functional prison, yes. [Haruto rubs at his eyes, as if he's sleepy.]

Due to his request, Daisuke-kun was voted guilty for the second trial. He just smiled and looked down when I told him. At this point, I don't think anything in Milgram will make him happy. He hasn't stopped fidgeting with his choker since. I think I'll take it away tomorrow.

Uh. Suzume-san. She was sitting by her bed when I visited her cell, just staring at the wall ahead. I informed her of her guilty verdict, but her eyes were so blank I don't think she heard me. I turned to leave eventually, which is when she said: "When will Taro-kun come to see me?" She still looked out of it, so I replied: "Soon." Then I left. [Haruto shrugs.] Aka-chan reported to me that she heard Suzume crying in her cell some time later.

Haku-chan...was voted innocent again. His music video and interrogation questions are more suspicious this time around, but I still don't know if he deserves to be voted guilty. For now, his demeanor hasn't changed at all. He's still well-behaved and on good terms with everyone. His reaction to his verdict was underwhelming too. All he did was nod. [Haruto pouts, resting his chin on one hand.] Then again, how was he supposed to react to the same innocent verdict anyway? I wonder how he acts around his brother.

Yui-san was voted innocent, so she didn't throw a chair at me this time. She gave me a weird look when I announced her verdict, so I guess she thinks its too good to be true or something. She blow-dried and combed her hair after her shower today though, so her mental state must be improving. It won't be long before she starts her skincare routine again. I've already requested for her products.

Rin-chan didn't know how to react to being voted innocent. He just blinked at me and went: "Oh." Considering his guilty verdict for the first trial changed his own opinion on his crime from innocent to guilty, he must be really confused right now. He's still a child, so its natural for him to be so easily influenced I guess. He sat quietly like a doll after that, so I left like I did with Suzume-san. I think I saw his eyes shift to the corner of the room before I closed the door. I wonder what he was looking at. There was nothing there.

Noa-san didn't seem surprised to be voted innocent again. She smiled sadly. "I still think it would have been better for me to die, but I suppose you can't blame me for my husband's death," she said. She's right. Whatever she wants to do with her life is her business. As far as my duties as warden go, she's keeping her innocent streak. Its a smart move to keep the Milgram cook free too. I'm not sure if I can trust Mayumi to prepare our meals anymore.

Kiyoshi-san doesn't go around socializing anymore. The guilty verdict must have sent him into a contemplative state. Interesting enough, he didn't give me a reaction to his verdict. He just stared at me with this sort of...heavy gaze until I left. Since then he's been staring into the distance and clenching his jaw really tightly. Based on what I've seen anyway. Real productive of him, I know.

[Haruto rubs at his eye again, frowning in confusion. He yawns and lays his head on the table. Half a minute passes. He doesn't move.]

[The door opens. A prisoner steps in.]

Mayumi: Hello. I'll be sending this video to the higher ups as Haruto intended to, so, nice to meet you.

That is, if you're not the person I met in the weird dream I had last night. If every prisoner can hear voices and the warden is an amnesiac, I wouldn't be surprised if Milgram could induce dreams as well. Do be assured that I will taking this opportunity to learn as much as I can about Milgram. Have fun watching over me.

Ichiro: Error Screen (Okay, so the colours and glitchy effects of the MV certainly suit Ichiro's vibe. There's a disconnect between reality and what happens in the MV, which fits his usual state of mind. Some of the lyrics fit Ichiro's feelings towards his mom too. There's nothing wrong with me still missing you, right? There's nothing wrong with me still wanting to be with you, right? So why don't you leave him, you deserve better, even though I'm probably worse.)

Akane: Heart-shaped Candy (I can't think of any of your prisoners' songs that would fit her because none of their crimes give off the same vibes as her killing her dad. But ah, I assigned Heart-shaped Candy to her because she's angry just like Yurika lol. Yurika working as a maid reminded me of Akane working as a waitress too.)

Daisuke: Empty Desk (HELP I can't quite believe it. Daisuke's babygirl energy is just too strong. I checked Hot Pink Illusion first, but the rose coloured glasses lyric didn't fit. Yeah, the lyrics of Empty Desk and Naomi's guilt after her crime fits him to a T. Everyone's reactions of her crime may or may not apply to Daisuke as well.)

Suzume: Lost in Perfection (The lyrics and the somewhat obsessive feelings towards Eiko's love interest? Yes. Not to mention, wanting for something perfect.)

Haku: Jump Together (This might be kinda funny because Riku is so similar to Kiyoshi. But uh, I took a look at the lyrics and... Let's just say one aspect of Riku's relationship with his childhood friend applies to Haku's relationship with Kurosaki. Just a little. Also, just imagine Haku singing a song obviously made by a band.)

Yui: Heart-shaped Candy (Again? Yes. Himiko. That's all I have to say.)

When Callum caught sight of Noa in the crowd while performing, he instantly felt a surge of energy. He thought she would make him nervous, but her support meant everything, and he slipped back into the old him, who was carefree and happy. Singing was his first love, and last night, that feeling returned. Fear and pain kept his passion for music hidden. It was for him and Avie only, but something changed on that stage. It was a crappy performance of a Miley Cyrus song, but to him, it had been so important. When he thanked Noa, he could sense that she understood what it meant to him, and part of him wanted to bail and spend the rest of the night with her. Bask in the glory of him conquering that fear, but they had other plans. Thankfully, she had agreed to join him today with Avie. There was a bond developing between the pair this Summer that he couldn't explain, but all he knew was that her friendship was so special to him.

"I know, but that doesn't stop me from being excited to see ya'!" Callum stepped back from the embrace, and blue eyes moved over her. She was stunning. "Wow..." he said softly, then again met her gaze and grinned. "I've already lost. Look at you!" He gave her a quiet whistle, took her arm, and twirled her. "I'd say that's one nil to you already."

Callum placed a hand on the small of her back and gently guided her to where Avie was. "Making friends without us. I swear, that kid will do anything to ditch me these days." He stole a glance at Noa and noted how beautiful she was. He was in a baseball cap, white tee, and jeans, while she looked like a Disney princess. "Avie, look who's here..." Callum had barely finished speaking, and the little girl ran over to hug Noa. "What shall we play first then, girls?" Avie ignored him and stared in awe at Noa, remarking how she looked like Belle. "Right, ring toss it is. Will we do girls versus boys... so you two against me?"

It was strange how Noa and Callum had known each other for years yet these past few months she'd seen him more than ever and they'd grown close enough that she'd likely call him one of her best friends. Time was such a funny thing, life was really all about timing. After passing by the karaoke fun last night and seeing Callum sing, she was excited for the invite to hang with him and Avie for the day. For the second day in a row Noa seemed to be out of place in the way she dressed for the festival but thankfully she'd already had a beer and couldn't care much about it now. As much as she loved how incredible everyone looked her confidence didn't match theirs.

As she walked toward where Callum said he and Avie would be, she eyed up the games she wanted to possibly play as the concert went on in the background. Before she knew it Cal was in front of her, pressing against her actually as he one arm hugged her tightly and pressed a kiss to her cheek. "I was gonna be here anyway..." She teased. "But no, really... I'm looking forward to the fun. You ready to lose at some games?" In thinking Avie would be with her father Noa looked around when she hadn't come up with him. "Where's my queen?"

Haruto: The date is 13 June XXXX. I'm recording this video to log the prisoners' reactions to their verdicts. I'm sure such information will come in handy in the future.

Especially for the higher ups! [He waves at the camera.] Hello! Are you watching this? Aren't I a proactive warden, logging this kinda stuff for your convenience?

... [He sits back in his chair.] Well now I feel stupid.

But! [He jerks up suddenly.] I'm sure there's someone watching. An operation as sophisticated as this doesn't magic out of nowhere. [He aims two fingers at his eyes and then at the screen.] I'm onto you.

[He sits back in his chair.] Prisoner 001, Kanai Ichiro. Verdict: Guilty. When I informed him of my decision, he questioned me and got angry when I refused to explain the logic behind my judgement. As part of his punishment, I confiscated his soft toy which he is very attached to. He tried to snatch it back, but was intercepted by the force field.

Since then, his mental health has deteriorated significantly. He sleeps a lot more and encounters nightmares often, refuses to eat meals, and is prone to meltdowns and self-harm. He also mumbles to himself and has claimed to hear voices telling that he is unforgivable.

[Haruto runs a hand down his face.] What am I going to do with him?

But anyway, prisoner 002, Kobayashi Akane. Verdict: Innocent. She reacted positively to the news of course. She claims that getting voted innocent was the only possible outcome for her, but she looked relieved for a bit. Her behavior hasn't changed much since then. She's just less jumpy and more confident now.

Prisoner 003, Iwamoto Daisuke. Verdict: Innocent. He was probably expecting a guilty verdict, because he told me "my moral compass must be a roulette wheel". He's been more quiet and timid recently, it seems he's dealing with a sort of survivor's guilt.

Prisoner 004, Toma Suzume. Verdict: Innocent. She was surprised, but didn't say anything about my decision. Her behavior hasn't changed much, just less unsure and anxious. She's also been helping Noa-san to cook for everyone now that Mayumi-san has been voted guilty.

Prisoner 005, Endo Haku. Verdict: Innocent. He was happy to hear the news. He even smiled and thanked me for "understanding". He's been more friendly and outgoing since then. Its good that he's interacting more with the other prisoners now. I hope that his next music video will reveal some important information too.

Prisoner 006, Sasaki Yui. Verdict: Guilty. She didn't react well to her verdict. After a few seconds of disbelief, she started yelling and threw her chair at me. I put her in a straightjacket for 24 hours after that.

Her mental health has dropped drastically. She can't seem to sleep and is no longer taking care of her appearance (which is a big red flag for Yui-san). She's probably hearing voices too, but I can't confirm as she hasn't spoken to me since the incident. She doesn't interact with the other prisoners as much anymore either. I told Suzume-san to keep an eye on her. I hope Yui-san doesn't do any other stupid things.

Prisoner 007, Shigeru Rin. Another guilty prisoner. He started yelling and crying when I informed him of my decision, saying that "she was the one in the wrong". At least he didn't throw a chair at me.

He's become more on-edge and easily agitated recently. He's no longer allowed to request for things, so he's had no choice but to become less demanding. He's hearing voices as well, and will respond sometimes to tell them to shut up. He's not coping well with the auditory hallucinations. If it gets too bad, I might have to procure some meds.

Prisoner 008, Watanabe Noa. Verdict: Innocent, despite her begging for the death penalty. That's what she asked about when I informed her of my decision. I gave a satisfactory answer, but didn't tell her the full story of course. She's now cooking for everyone along with Suzume-san in Mayumi's place. That's Milgram's big sister figure for you. She's doing more productive stuff now. Good for her.

Prisoner 009, Miyahara Kiyoshi. Verdict: Innocent. He was happy with his verdict, claiming that his victim "had it coming". He's more cheerful and easygoing now. He became comfortable surprisingly quickly after being voted innocent. I'm not sure I vibe with that very much. His victim may have been a drug dealer, but I don't think he deserved to die because of it. Well, we'll see.

Prisoner 010, Okura Mayumi. Verdict: Guilty. She wasn't happy with my decision, but she didn't snap. It was a cold, chilling sort of anger. All she said was: "At least vote consistently." She was probably referring to Kiyoshi-san. [Haruto shrugs.]

Her liberties are restricted now and she isn't allowed to cook for everyone anymore. Her friendly and helpful personality is no more. She's become withdrawn and quiet. She confirmed that she can hear voices speaking to her, but she hardly seems affected by them. I can tell that she's still angry about her verdict. She hasn't done anything aggressive so far, but I'm not letting my guard down. Just in case.

Well. I sure hope my decisions don't come back to bite me in the ass. [Haruto flashes a peace sign at the camera.]
