"Two months ago" Niki says shrugging

"It has not been that long" Jake says

Mean while.

Yn sat on the bed brushing her hair waiting for Jake to come home. Her days were boring when he went to school and work.She looks over at the iPad Jake had bought her looking at the time. He was usually home by now.

Before she could even start worrying, she could hear jakes keys and the locks turn. She waits to hear the door open before jumping off the bed. Just as she hears him take his shoes off she runs to the door with. hears him take his shoes off she runs to the door with Layla right behind her. Both of them jumping on him

“Jake!" Yn shouts happily

"Hey princess what you do all day?" Jake asks wrapping his free arm around Yn's waist so he doesn't drop her

"I played mortal Kombat and took Layla for a walk" Yn says proudly

"That's nice I got you a treat!" Jake says making the girl smile, tail twitching in excitement

Jake puts her down on the couch completely forgetting about the company he invited over

"What is it!?" Yn asks excitedly

"You have to guess" Jake says smirking

"Jake no! You know I hate guessing"Yn says groaning

"Okay fine. I got you donuts!" Jake says pulling out

a bag of glazed donuts from his bookbag.Yn snatches them instantly opening them popping some in her mouth

"He has a bunny?!" Niki whispers getting Yn's attention

She peaks around Jake seeing the group of boys standing at the door. One seemed to be familiar with layla.

"Jake. Who are they?" Yn asks pointing behind him

"Oh I forgot! These are my friends" Jake says

"I get pretty distracted when Yn's around” Jake says smiling placing a hand on her head making her smile

"Oh my gosh! She's so cute!" Heeseung says

"Yes! This is Heeseung, jay, sunghoon, Jungwon,Niki, and Sunoo" Jake says pointing to each person

"Okay!” She says walking off talking Layla and he day of donuts with her.

The guys follow right behind her going to the living room where the Nintendo switch was hooked up to the tv.

“How long have you been playing Yn?” Jake asks

“Uhh an hour” she says shrugging

“Wanna get bussed in Mario cart?” Jake asks with a smirk

“Boy please! I win everytime! I believe it’s 1 to 15?” Yn says smirking

“Give me a controller now!” Jake says

The boys watched as the two bonded. It was like it came so naturally for them. Yn seemed so comfortable around Jake.

“Oh yeah! I bussed your ass again!” Yn jumps up

“Yn! Language!” Jake says standing up from the floor

“Oops. Sorry” she says giggling making the rest of the guys follow suit.

“Who wants to lose next?” Yn asks turning to the boys

“Me! Im a Mario cart pro” Niki says taking jakes spot

“Come on sunghoon help me in the kitchen” Jake says making the man smack his lips

“I just knew you were going to ask me” he mumbles before standing up from his seat to following Jake to the kitchen

“So what does she eat, like carrots?” Sunghoon asks

“Don’t stereotype hybrids…Yn actually doesn’t like carrots” Jake says peeling a orange

“So what does she eat then?” Sunghoon asks pouting chips into a bowl

“She’s a vegetarian. Usually I make her a rice bowl with veggies and stuff. Having Yn around has changed my diet” he says putting the oranges into a bowl with the other fruit

“Ah that’s cool. When did she start living here?” He asks

“Uhhh about two months ago. she was originally with my sister but since she’s in med school she couldn’t really take care of her, so she started living with me” Jake says shrugging

“That’s cool, you two seem close” Sunghoon says collecting cups from the cabinets

“Yeah. I love Yn” Jake says smiling

Sunghoon smirks over at Jake

“Oh so you LOVE her” he says causing jake to Ouse with a blush on his face

“I-I Uh” he says making Sunghoon laugh

“It’s okay jake. She seems like a pretty nice girl. I totally see you two together” he says patting jakes back

“Yeah, that would be nice, but I doubt Yn even has those types of interest” jake says picking the bowl up heading to the living room

Jake paused at the door way as he seen Yn and Heeseung play fighting. He knew she could be pretty playful at times but the pang in his chest didn’t.

“Yn I got you a bowl of fruit” he says

Yn stops playing with Heeseung running over to him grabbing the bowl before saying thank you and going back over to Heeseung offering him some of the fruit

Jake couldn’t help the glare he threw towards Heeseung. Sunghoon smirks at Jake who sat across from the two.

“If you don’t mind me asking, where are your parents?” Jake heard Heeseung ask

“They’re traveling marine biologist. So I’m pretty sure they’re like somewhere over seas.” Yn says

“Aww that’s cool! If you don’t mind can I know more about them?” Heeseung asks making Jake a little bit upset

You never told him about your parents, granted he never asked and it was never brought up but he thought you were close like that.

“Uh yeah! My dad is a hybrid and my mom is human. They met in collage and got married after they graduated. Soon they had me. They didn’t decide to travel until I graduated middle school. They’re close friends with jakes family and his older sister agreed to take care of me” Yn says shrugging

“Aww it must be cool to have marine biologist as parents” Heeseung says

“Yeah we had good times, just wish we can have more” Yn says with a pout

“It’s okay Yn, they seem like they really care about you” Heeseung says patting her back

“Thanks” Yn says with a small smile before hugging Heeseung

Yn pulled away feeling jakes eyes burning on her skin

Jake gets up storming to the kitchen. Yn noticed and followed him.

“Jake?what’s wrong?” Yn asks grabbing his hand

He snatches his hand back with an eye roll

“Nothings wrong. Go back and play with Heeseung” he says with a scoff

He watches as Yn seemed to shrink in size as her ears dropped in sadness

“W-why are you being mean?” She asks

Jake turns around before sighing

“I’m sorry Yn I just, I don’t like you being so close to Heeseung. I just wish…it was me” jake says. Yn could feel her cheeks getting hot.

“Y-you like me?” She asks making Jake nod.

She places her hands in her Afro before smiling at Jake.

“Why are you smiling?” He asks.”

Yn laughs before wrapping her arms around him confusing him more.

“I like you too jake” she says making him smile. He wraps his arms around Yn . Placing a hand on top of her of her head placing a kiss on her forehead

“I need to trim your ears. Your hair is growing everywhere” jake says smiling

”I don’t want to sit through a trim” Yn says

“It has to be done” jake says smiling

“So am I like…your girlfriend now?” Yn asks

“I didn’t ask did I? Im sorry. You can be my girlfriend only if you want to be” he says making Yn giggle

“Well I do want to be your girlfriend” Yn says putting her face into his chest

Jake rests his head onto of her head. The scent of coco butter and oil sheen filling is nose

“Come on, the guys are waiting for us” jake says

“Okay!” Yn says following Jake to the living room

“Awwww they’re a couple now!!” Sunghoon says

“Oh be quiet, or I’ll have Yn beat you in Mario cart” jake says sitting on the couch

“Yeahh whatever but you have Heeseung to thank” Sunghoon says smirking

“Why me?” Heeseung mumbles putting chips into his mouth

“Cause you made Jake jealous” Sunghoon says

“Really?” Heeseung asks

“Really!” Sunghoon says

“I was just trying to get to know Yn, I know she’ll be around for a while” Heeseung says

“Jealous or not, I have the girl I want” jake says throwing an arm around Yn

Yn throws a hand over his face to hide her hot cubby cheeks

“Either way they’re a couple now Yn come here and beat Jungwon in Mario cart” Niki says

“Okay!” Yn says jumping up from the couch grabbing the controller

All Jake could do was sit back in admiration.
