5. How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

its her character defining trait and the answer is wayy further than is sane. literally any distance. only caveat is if it will hurt her she will be wary, but normally it just means she gets other people hurt instead of herself. not sure what to say for this other than that!

luckily for most people her goals are do interesting things and gain power, not world domination [yet]

but if it serves either her long term goal of strength and power, or her shorter term goals that will lead to strength and power then it will be done, unless it hinders the goals to. [e.g. killing the leaders of the crusades and taking control she she can rule her own city state would get her power and strength but also a long line of people trying to kill her]

her goals are long term stable strength and power, not short lived & unstable, shes got a long lifetime, and if making nice or even just civil and making a few sacrifices gets her respect and power then thats fine for her.

tldr: she will do anything to get what she wants, but given what she wants is so vague/distant she does'nt always seem it as shes willing to compromise on short term wants that are normally just curiosity to benefit her long term wants.

the thing is im leaning cold and detached because i can see her inner thoughts, where she is cold and detached most of the time, but externally, she is often detached, but cold not so much: and not very detached either, shes an observer when shes not the center of attention, and uses small gestures to mold someones view of her more than big gestures.

Aight so the reason I said I'd drop it in the chronmune at some point is bc a lot of it's still secret (and a few of them follow me here so 🤐)

But I'll gladly do an overview of the chronmune and my characters yeah

So, the chronmune (originally "the ceaseless watcher's special little commune") is a tma based rp that started in april 2021 on discord. Following tiktok user crowpunkin's t party livestreams, where over a few months he and the chat brainstormed a fictional castle commune.

Once the discord was made it was swiftly turned into mostly being about the rp (though we still have plenty of beloved folk in there who don't rp)

I ended up being the one to develop much of the lore about the actual castle and commune and all that jazz in the rp.

And so, my bullshit:

The castle had existed for a very long time, longer than even the history I know of it. But what I do know of it is after it had been abandoned for only a few years. A couple moved in, known to us as Mx Chron and Ms Eye, and their child. Chron and Eye would do anything to protect their child, and fortunately for them, they had magic they could employ. So they took the opportunity.

A barrier, encompassing the entire castle grounds, to keep their family safe. Their child was away while they installed it, so they hoped it would be a nice surprise to return to.

But, of course, it went wrong.

The barrier instead made it so that members of the Chron-Eye family could not leave the castle grounds. And so that is where Mx Chron and Ms Eye died, after begging their child to never return, lest they also be trapped there.

Fast forward to the 1880s

The Chron-Eye family was still around, though the name had been bastardised. After dying of tuberculosis, Mee6 Cronie found themself to still be around, though no one could see them. They were a ghost.

Mee6 had always been a rambunctious child in life and took this opportunity to start a grand exploration. Which originally was just further into the city than she'd previously been allowed to go. But eventually took him across oceans to different countries.

1947

Mee6, much more corporeal and confident in their ghostly abilities than when they first died, found themself dealing with a new issue. The inability to leave a castle he had thought looked fun to explore.

And the worst part was that she was alone. There was a long time where she was unable to communicate and interact with others, but there were always people around.

But now it was just him.

And a swirling pattern on a wall, that seemed like it was trying to comfort them.

1965

Someone else entered the castle. Varis Zima, current representative of Chron. Not that Mee6 understood what that meant, but they were thrilled to find out that he was planning on bringing more people to the castle. Making it a beloved and fairly safe space.

1969

Varis- The High Priest finished setting up The Eye Commune, bringing in its first wave of inhabitants, and workers. For the commune was not just the commune but also had a fantastic cheese factory. These cheese makers would generate the main source of income for the castle.

The High Priest hadn't chosen this castle at random. It was a very spesific mission he went on to find the castle once inhabited by the first Chron avatar. He knew about the barrier and, being a Chron avatar himself, managed to gain control of it.

The cheese makers could not leave.

A young person, they couldn't have been older than 20, was visiting the town the castle was in. They saw a poster for the castle's cheese factory grand opening sale, and thought they might as well check ot out.

They were invited into the castle to look at the cheeses still maturing.

They could not leave.

Wow, what an incredibly long post for me and I didn't even get to the modern stuff, but that's more plot than lore anyway

In the past few months I've kinda been continueing to test out some orignal writing on here. I've completed one in the last year actually as some of you might have gleaned and I've been working on a few next projects, and plan to finish posting Under The Arbor. It's been so much fun playing with my own characters, themes and stories and while I have no plan to slow down fanfics, I am gonna keep writing some of my own stuff.

The thing I've been haveing a think about is honestly where this orignal writing should go. I don't really think anything I've acomplished so far warrents offical publishing. But I want others looking for new stories, spesifically shorter ones, to find it. I love this site and decided to give it a go...and Tumblrs tags kinda ate it up. Which is expected but. Still, not exactly my goal. I'd like to put it in a place people who like my writing can find ALL my writing in one space. And I've come to the conclusion that needs to be elsewhere, probabbly.

I've been putting it here because in the past I've done a poll and no one seemed to be botherd by my orignal stories on here.

And I am guessing, to anyone on here who might be excited and following along with Under The Arbor...would you still want me to do that? Or would you follow for some of my non-fanfiction writing elsewhere?

I don't plan to post Part 2 of UTA until Feb 25, so I'm currently only playing around with other options for where to post things. But let me know, for anyone who may be invested in my orignal writing.

For the Kiryu suit mod you can find it on nexus just by searching Kiryu on the new vegas page! It gives plus 5 to unarmed when you wear it its pretty cool.

As for the build i think it was something like

Strength 10

Perseption 1

Endurence 10

Charasima 1

Intelegence 3

Agility 8

Luck 6

Then for tag skills the bit i found used Unarmed, Melee and Survival. But i went with Speach instead of Survival.

Then with traits it was Wild Wasteland and Heavy Handed.

For perks thats just mostly stuff that buffs melee/unarmed. I recommend getting boxing tape early if you wanna go the full "Kiryu Never Kills" thing. Or you can do what i do and pretend i didnt just punch a guys arm off and i just knocked em out. I also recommend getting Super Slam since it kinda mirrors how easily Kiryu knocks down goons in the actual rgg games.

If you wanna go the whole rp route. In terms of faction the original reddit post i found with the build reccommended siding with either House or Yes Man. I personally went with yes man since i dont think Kiryu would work with Post Apocalyptic Walt Disney. Reasons for not siding the others are because theres no way in hell Kiryu would side with the leigion and i dont think Martial Law is really up Kiryus alley considering hes both an ex-convict and an ex-yakuza chairman. But i dont think Kiryu would be activly fighting the NCR. Also with speach you would need to use it spesifically to talk down people like general oliver but then use it to 1v1 the Leget.

For wepons i recommend getting the Brass Knuckles early since unarmed is gonan be your main combat style. Get as many VATs moves as you can, their like your heat moves.

Also if you want extra challange you can follow the Yakuza Weapon Restrictiona rule, where if you do use weapons, you cannot repair them and with guns if you run out of bullets you have to drop the gun. Thats just for fun.

I recommend mostly putting points into Unarmed Speach Survival and Melee as well.

Nd thats the kiryu build

playing fallout new vegas and i found a kiryu build nd also a mod that adds his suit so ive just been doing a Kiryu Playthrough.

Hello! I want to thank you! For almost a year now I've suffered depression. Which caused me to no longer find anything that I love enjoyable and spark happiness. Thus, resulting me very much invested in The Planning Of A Matriarch. I have to say I enjoy this fic very much.-

-I find my self giggling and laughing at every single Uchiha banter and their dynamics, Sasuke's internalized delima for his feelings even to Sai's annoyingly lack of social skills. I must say every characterization in this is very well written and the story doesn't have that complicated and ridiculous plot which is very refreshing, and also the story progressed (relationships and character wise) naturally without feeling it being forced. first I want to apologize for not answering this ask sooner. when i received it I was doing so poorly with my health that while I could read things, it was really difficult for me to do much of anything else. I was just sleeping my days away and doing as little as possible, trying to rest and get better.

How is stuff going in turkey at the moment?

about two weeks ago a earthquake with a 6.6 hit the eastern side of Turkey (Elazığ) like 40 people died there. (also many other earthquakes have been happening on the Eagen region)

then, on sunday an avalanche fell on the eastern side. and when people tried to rescue another avalanche fell on them leaving about 40 casualties.

and again on sunday an airplane couldn’t stop while landing killing 3 people and leaving a lot of people with injuries.

so like it has been an exhausting few weeks.

the poltiical, governmental side of these things is,

in 1999 one of the biggest earthquakes hit the western side of Turkey, Marmara region, killing so many people and destroying so many buildings. after that the government started collecting “earthquake tax”. the current political party came into power in 2002 and they continued collecting that tax. but now that an earthquake happened they are looking for money to fund the help there and everybody is like ‘well we gave you the money’. also the news channels (spesifically cnn turkey) tries to hype the government. they went to the affected area and made people in tents filled with rain water say how “happy” they were that they got a tent…messed up. 

apparently, the rescuing after the first avalanche was conducted by the soldiers in the area that didn’t know the proper ways to act in an avalanche situation instead of the governmental rescuing agency. i believe this led to many more deaths.

other news,

a 17 year old girl was shot and killed by her father because he had a boyfriend…i don’t know what to say about this anymore.

so İstanbul, one of the biggest cities, has a strait (Bosphorus). In the past when Turkey was founded it was a topic of many agreements between Turkey and other countries. It is a vital sea way for ships that pass Gibraltar to reach to the northern places like Russia and Ukraine and vice-versa. Anyway, the president wants to build a canal right through İstanbul. He says that they will have the ships pass from the new canal (Kanal İstanbul) so no accidents will happen in the Bosphorus. But they also want to create this fancy places near the sea in that new canal so he can sell them. Obviously, that would mess up the environment and it’s like near impossible for them to dig that canal that would have the big ships pass it. İstanbul mayor is opposed to it but the president and the government are pushing for it. We, mostly İstanbul citizens, gave individual petitions against it a few weeks ago. We don’t know what will happen.

also a similar thing has happened before. they built the new airport, İstanbul Airport, despite the enviromental warnings and now it gets so windy that even on like not raining not snowing not foggy days flights get cancelled. Not to forget they literally destroyed a lot of trees for it.

the economy is sinking more and more and more. and we have been in a crisis for so long that it’s like you are almost used to it. because the prices raised gradually and you don’t realize it until a point where you are i used to get this for 10 Turkish liras and now I get it for 25.

there is more i swear there is more but it’s like so many things happen that i forget them regularly to take in more news (i guess this part is like so many countries). and i hate that like most of these find no place in international medi and never once i have seen some injustice some political mistake in turkey go viral and it makes me mad. like after that earthquake it took AP (Associated Press) a few days to even share it.

oh also the block for wikipedia was removed after three years, yeah…

Muses, where reasonable, can be killed in roleplays if that is what you feel is ic for your character. However, be warned; They will be resurrected for the sake of me getting to continue my as-continuous-as-possible story-line, or else the entire thread will have to be considered an AU, because I’m not going to go deleting my blog/making my character a ghost in the main for you.

IC Blocs vs Regular Blogs:

Regular blogs are for Face-To-Face interractions. Threads are assumed to be face-to-face unless otherwise stated.

Some of my characters have IC sideblogs. These are blogs written as if they are blogs run by the character in question unless the post is tagged OOC. IC Blogs have (IC Blog for [relevant regular blog]) in their description.

Do Not respond to things on the regular blogs as if they are online interractions. You will be ignored.

Do Not respond to things on the IC blogs as if they are in-person. You will also be ignored.

Roleplay Partners:

Blog is largely single-verse, as it gives me far better oppertunities for character development. Contradictory relationships/canons can be hand-waved as neccassary.

A few spesific relationships have their own sub-verse. Details will be found on individual muse pages.

I need to see at least a bio for your muse before I consider interacting, or I’ve got nothing to work with. Yes even canons. I also need to be able to read this bio.

I really do need to be able to find my way around your blog efficiently and read your information without getting eye strain.

I will match your formatting so far as I am able. Don’t feel the need to format/not format to roleplay with me just because you see me doing it with someone else. I’m not trying to keep up any aesthetic so I’m fully adaptable. I only ask that it be legible.

My own canon is intentionally open and adaptable, and I will bend to others canons as necessary for individual threads. However, if you see me write something that contradicts your canon in a thread your characters aren’t involved in, I would ask you politely ignore it.
