it's rly funny that a bunch of my weird friends all have specific reasons why they relate to paul atreides like "i'm nonbinary and he's described as having both a male and female consciousness" "i'm autistic and his visions sound like extreme systemizing/pattern recognition coupled with lateral thinking all turned up to 11" "one time i also got really high with my mom and got scared"
