Another personal update, so far I'm really liking my new therapist. She's pretty chill and easy to open up with. At first I was a little reluctant because she's the same age as me(last therapist I had was as old as my mother and had 10+ years of experience), but honestly it's not an issue at all and we click pretty well. She's very good at getting me to really think about my more negative emotions and what stems from them. For instance, one of the most difficult emotions for me to talk about/express is when I'm angry. And we went over things that have made me mad/resentful for a long time and I managed to actually feel safe venting about it without downplaying anything or shutting myself down.

reminder that adhd medication isn't a luxury or preference, but a lifesaving medication. a 10 year long study in the usa showed that, when properly medicated, the rate of car crashes people with adhd get into goes down significantly--men's rate drops by 38%, and women's by 42%. the med shortage, denial of meds by doctors, rising prices, and the "war on drugs" has killed--with such a car dependent society, not driving frequently isn't an option, which means we need better healthcare and need it now.

regarding VPNs - Windscribe is still the real one, w/ non-standard protocols and special "hostile network" switch, one problem though - limited traffic, so you most likely have to juggle it w/ some noname VPN apps or proxy add-ons
