some wildcard mechanics i'd love to see in wild life in no particular order
game of assassin/boogeyman where everyone is assigned one target at random to kill (thus everyone is both assassin and target) you get punished if you kill the wrong person but not if you just decide not to kill your target, and obviously if you die you die. maybe there's a benefit to succeeding too, like taking the other person's life even if you're on green or getting double the lives back if you're yellow/red
double life sequel but crucially it has to be done at a point in the season where people have already made enemies and alliances, because i need to see what happens when they're forced to work together or if someone's enemy is linked to their closest ally. what if gem can't kill pearl because she and joel are now linked. tango gets linked with [insert anyone he terrorised last session] and now they can't get him back without dying too. it would be so good...
opposite day. water is lava and lava is water, wood is stone and stone is wood, leather armour works the best and diamond armour sucks. maybe mobs spawn during the day instead of at night, too. many possibilities
bodyswap, they swap every thirty minutes so the game isn't figuring out who is in which body (though i imagine they'll be wanting to know who is in their own) but rather in dealing with the inventory and location and status of whoever you just swapped into
they just become animals. awwwww so cute. until you're a fish all of a sudden and you start drowning in the air
random effects given to each player kind of like a superpower. some get water breathing, some get haste, some get speed etc etc. like i don't think this wildcard would be as detrimental unless there was some other side effect but i think it'd be fun watching people zoom around. it would also be fun to give them all varying levels of usefulness/power. mean, but fun
