If Aegon got the chance to actually rule , do you think he would be a bad or a decent king? Judging by how he takes everything seriously in the book , i doubt he would be like Robert as most of the fandom believe so

Yeah, I don't think he would have ended up like Robert. Robert's whole deal was that he was a good warrior but incredibly ill suited to the role of being a king or any kind of ruler/administrator, and that whenever he tried to get involved in things, that's when problems happened (wanting tourneys, bankrupting the realm, getting in crippling debt with the Iron Bank and with the Lannisters, deciding certain policies and making certain appointments). Aegon doesn't have that, there's nothing to necessarily suggest that he was badly suited to be king, just that he wasn't well suited to be king, and there is a difference. You can be not good at something without being actively bad at it. Robert was actively bad at it, because that's not who he was as a person, and I don't think Aegon would be.

It's hard to tell what Aegon would have been like as a king in the long term, because his entire reign was dominated by wartime, and being in government during wartime versus during peacetime are two incredibly different things (again, Robert was a great wartime leader, shit peacetime leader). I don't think Aegon would have been a magnificent king by any stretch, some decisions he made make that clear, like firing Otto for Criston because he valued militarism over Otto's diplomacy while Otto's diplomacy was working, just taking longer, which speaks to a certain desire for immediate gratification in politics that lines up with who Aegon was as a person. But he also does show an ability to listen to the people around him and a desire to follow their judgment, it's just that he's also willing to ignore them when he thinks the situation calls for it and he doesn't have anyone with a strong enough personality to really put the kibosh on that (if Tywin had been his grandfather for instance, Aegon probably would have been more tractable). I think Aegon would have likely had capable administrators on his Small Council, and likely would have listened to them and followed their counsel for most of the time.

If Aegon had won the war decisively and was able to rule into a decently long reign of peace, I think he'd have been all right. He would have likely been able to restore some order to the Kingdoms, though how extensive that would have to be depends on when we imagine he wins the war, not to mention whether or not we're factoring in a reality where there was no war and he got to be a regular king from day one. He'd probably have a reputation similar to some of the lesser known Targaryen kings, a good enough ruler who had counselors who did all right by the realm and didn't make anything abjectly worse, while not necessarily making any great strides in betterment or in grand achievements. Literally, just an All Right That's Fine kind of guy.
