Oh no I started watching High Potential and watched all 7 episodes in one evening. It's now 2:30am on a work night 😭😭😭

#high potential#the character writing is crisp and Judy Reyes is in it and cute as a button as ever#also they have me aggressively rooting for the lead to be in TWO heterosexual relationships. genius writing there#I also like that the show is formulaic enough to be predictable about whodunit while also having surprises in how or why#also also I like the underlying assumptions and norms that informed how they included lesbianism in that one plot#like “*she* said they were besties so they were besties except now no it makes more sense if she was lying and they were in lesbians”#no dawdling around the point because gay is so unlikely or rude to assume or too scandalous to consider#its just a world where gay and bisexual people exist and thats a normal part of life
