Well well well… What to think of Ludociel’s story? I’m still not sure the goddesses really planned to seal the demon clan away. I mean really? They don’t seem like the kind of clan that would collectively sacrifice themselves for something that isn’t useful for them. So the demons are sealed and what did the goddesses gain from that? Absolutely nothing because they have no bodies anymore. What also confused me is that Ludociel said that the goddess clan was on the losing end of the power balance and that’s why they had to take this measure… But the demons complained that the power balance has crumbled because Meliodas betrayed them and the goddesses actually had the upper hand, so that doesn’t add up. The demons lost one of their most powerful fighters, who then even ended up joining Stigma. I could bet that that’s only the story they spread through the world to make themselves look good. But I think it’s really OG Gowther that’s responsible and he mind controlled the goddess clan and made them seal the demons. But I really can’t say it enough, I LOVE that the goddesses finally take action. The Holy War will soon begin. The bloodline of darkness vs the guiding hand of light. And YES, I was right about Sariel and Tarmiel using Solaseed and Arbus as vessels! Nice! Also nice that the Pleiades are NOT happy to have a goddess because of what happened with Denzel… And Slader and Simon also look rather skeptical so… yep… looking forward to the humans splitting up… with some siding with the goddesses, some keeping to themselves… Who knows, maybe some will even side with the demons? Well, we finally see a glimpse of Gilthunder and Vivian again and… while Gil managed to “escape”, the outside of his lovely prison was actually above the clouds so… good luck escaping I guess? And I wonder if Vivian was talking about Merlin when she said “her master”, because in japanese that sounded so formal but when she talked Merlin in Seisen no Shirushi I think she used a different term for her so… is she really talking about Merlin that discovered that temple in the sky? Though I didn’t pay much attention to how Vivian called Merlin when she was not present, so I’m not sure it’s different. But now she’s dead? Unless Nakaba somehow revives her but I think stabbing someone’s throat is usually pretty deadly. Oh man, I had a feeling Ludociel would to something like this. Keeping his promise but in a cruel way… Gil accuses Dreyfus of still being Fraudrin, while Dreyfus is worried about Vivian’s life and trying to get Hendy’s attention while Hendy is completely entranced by The Goddess™ who thinks about the demon brothers. Wow.
