His subjects bow their heads to his imperial halo of divinity. It is his reign, his kingdom and he decrees with absolute tyranny. Technology became his scepter while greed was worn as his favorite crown jewel. God or Devil, was there a difference anymore? Hell became earth. From the depths of the shadows rose humanity’s last shred of hope. People foretold beings with powers would create change in a tale once forgotten. Night Monsters. They were the last formidable enemies to the world’s greatest empire, the threat that stirred the hearts of the defeated. The stage awaits for them. Hunt or be hunted.

 A   disposed   half-princess   once   with  a  rich   joyous  childhood  vanished  to  the  underground  maze.  Molded   by  the  Gutters,  she  became  quietly  lethal. Always  hidden  from  view,  burying  her  royal  identity,  it  was  behind  screens  where  her  fingers  would  sew exquisitely  expensive  things  to  occupy  her  time.  Spider  Strings’s  survival  depended  on  her  weaponized  hair.  The  strands  turned  fibers  were  strong,  cutting  like  a  knife.  And  just  as  flexible,  the  string  like  strands  could  manipulate  flesh  like  a  puppet .  She  became  synonymous  to  spider ,  weaving  and  trapping  by  the  tendrils  of  her  own  hair.

Who did you get on the Night Monster Quiz: paper butterfly and after reading through other posts in the tag, it looks like i’m among friends :’)

 Which Skeleton are you intrigued by?: i really decided to join the talk tag after finishing my application for night eagle but, i still need to proofread it before submitting. i think carbon caiman was the one lured me in, though but then i read through other biographies connected to one another and ultimately fell in love with the concept for night eagle.

If you could have any super power, what would it be?: maybe time bending/the ability to freeze time. i’d really just want to use it to have extra time to relax when i’m feeling overwhelmed but, i bet if i become a villain, i could do some really rad stuff with it.

 Are you an early riser or a night owl?: neither, i’m a midday macaw.

 What are you most excited for?: to see where this goes! i love the aesthetic of the group and just as others have said, the connections between characters are very diverse and i could see forming some really interesting connections with characters not listed!

I took the quiz and got THE HELLHOUND. Sounds really edgy, with lots of misdemeanor, a possible villain. I LOVE IT.

The Hellhound was born deprived of acknowledgement and recognition, thus beginning the obsession with attention in the darkest corners of the world. It wasn’t long before he walked the crooked criminal road, rising in notoriety for a number of illegal acts. He basked in the growth of his reputation. And as if by a stroke of luck, the burgeoning powers he acquired only gave further rise to his prominence. His powers allowed him to use dark shadows to transport himself or other materials from one shadow to another, an ability ironically filled with stealth rather than pizzazz.

I love the moral grey area, the nature vs nurture... a little bit of inconsolable chaos and rage with a sprinkle of desperation for affection dare I say chefs kiss... If you could have any super power, what would it be?: I think I’d like to be able to mess around with time- as someone who basically always has at least sixteen things on her to do list at any given time, having more time to get them done and relax would be incredible... I think I literally just described a Harry Potter plot line :/ Are you an early riser or a night owl?: A bit of both! My schedule kind of has me up at all hours but I’m trying to find balance between them. I’d like to say I prefer being a night owl but I never feel more powerful than I do when I’m awake and doing things before 8am What are you most excited for?: I love love love how in depth and detailed this is! The lore is incredible, everything is well thought out and the characters all look so good I’m obsessed!!!!

I have half formed ideas for Meridian Tiger, Tasmanian Devil, Demon Cat, Night Eagle, Hellhound and Blood Bat. And still stalking the main for the rest of the skeleton releases If you could have any super power, what would it be?: Honestly, Meridian Tiger’s power low key fucks?? I’ve always been obsessed with the butterfly effect. But I think I’m just really drawn to idea of like having a power tied to consequences in such an obvious way. Like go full spiderman on their asses, with great power comes great responsibility. Are you an early riser or a night owl?: My job has turned me into an early riser, but my heart is a night owl What are you most excited for?: The mcfreaking connections between all these skeletons!! All of the different types of relationships. I’m lIVING
