it adds SO much to hatchetfield and expands on the lore. but even if you're not big on lore™, the characters in each individual story are so amazing and their motivations are so clear. the writing from the langs is absolutely incredible!

in one week all of the video views have increased by nearly 10k views (or more)!!! but if we want nmt3 keep watching and streaming, please!

the majority of what i see about webby is how people believe there's gonna be a reveal that she, like her brothers, is, or was once, evil. but why. do you not want a little bit of whimsy in ur life? do u not want this silly eldritch spider to live out her unbothered life away from the menaces that are her brothers? do you want hannah to get otho'd again???

It’s always disheartening to see the difference in views on the first episode of nightmare time compared to everything else. Last I checked ape man and watcher world had 500k views and everything heavily declined from there. Which sucks, because nightmare time is so important to Hatchetfield, it gives us new characters and lore and npmd isn’t as good if you don’t watch at least nightmare time 2 first

I think all these problems end up falling on specifically hatchetfield ape man. New characters for the most part (Hidgens, a mention of Becky, and Ted). Other than that everyone is entire new, we hadn’t even heard of an ape man before this. The format didn’t help with this either. I’m glad they changed from everyone being visible to just the people talking. It felt more professional that way. And the story itself is just lackluster. Lucy never comes back and neither does Chumby (I think that was his name). It wasn’t overly comedic or scary, it’s forgettable in every sense of the word and never lead anywhere. For nightmare time 1, watcher world introduces blinky, we get Paul 23 and Emdroid in forever and always, and people generally love Paul and Emma so they’re always fun to see. Same thing with Jane’s a Car, we also get teased as to the lords in blacks names in that. TB gives us Tinky and the Ted is the homeless man reveal, and Witch in the Web introduces Holloway and Duke, Webby in her human form, the black book, nightmare time as an actually setting, and more smaller things that are just great for the world building. That leaves Ape Man as the sore thumb, and not only that but it’s the first episode. It doesn’t help that they hadn’t figured out the format

It’s so sad I know so many people never made it past the first episode, especially since there’s so much amazing content to be had in NMT, especially NMT2

just ranked all the nmt songs but wasn’t going to post it because i put a fan favourite kinda low. but then i remembered that if anyone’s so immature that they cant accept that people have different music tastes, then i can just block them <3 so yeah nmt ranking coming soon.
