‘I am not a member of TAMPAN ‘ – Nkechi Blessing

Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing disclosed of never being a member of The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN). RNN recalls that the two Nollywood actors, Nkechi Blessing Sunday and Kehinde Adams, popularly known as Lege Miami, has been suspended by the national body of Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioner Association of Nigeria over the recent arrest of their colleague, Baba Ijesha, who has been accused of rape and sexual defilements of a minor READ ALSO: Nigerians drag Rita Daniels over her secret wedding with young lover The 32-year-old revealed during an Instagram live session with her fans on Instagram, that she was never a member of the disorganized movie industry association, TAMPAN According to her, she never attended their meetings and she does not understand how an organization she is not a member of can suspend her. In her words; “It came as a shock to me because normally, in an organization that is organized, you’re not supposed to serve anybody a letter on social media. I did not join the industry through social media, that is the number one error they wrote to themselves, not to me.” “You claim I’m one of your members in your association, you didn’t call me, you didn’t send a text, you didn’t send an email. You didn’t try contacting me in any way, and you put up whatever you put up on Instagram without even tagging me, some other person sent it to me, who does that?” "We all have the right to air our opinions on our platforms.
