“I think I got really lucky to have a vacation before returning to blue lock, I even met you!” He swung his hand holding the paper bags of the things you bought, eyes forming a crease with the bright smile he has on. You can’t help but mimic the energy that he radiates.

“Would you have to go back right away?”

He answered you with a hum, eyes dimming a little before asking his question. “Can we have a date again the next time?”

His question stopped you in your tracks, you weren’t even able to answer yet when he suddenly expressed his awe. “Y/N, that’s the place recommended to me! Let’s go!”

He easily interacted with you, letting you conclude that he already opened his mind and heart when he decided to go on this blind date. Meanwhile, you were still a little hesitant. Although it disappeared right after as Meguru Bachira grinned, his topaz eyes reflecting a promise of fun, and his hands inviting you to the world you wanted.

The moment your hands touched his, warmth enveloped your being, there you knew- it was a decision you’ll never regret.

He pulled you towards the aforementioned place, it was quite lively, just the right place to enjoy a drink of your choice and foods that’ll please your stomach as well as your eyes. It wasn’t too loud nor too quiet, the natural sound of the people’s chatter and the kitchen’s wonder gracing your ears.

Bachira called the waiter, letting you order after settling on the chair. You sat side-by-side. You were looking around the place, gathering the courage to look at your date and give him your answer. When you turned your head to face him, however, you were met with his fluffy hair and a snore. Bachira Meguru fell asleep.

“Thank you... today, Y/N-” Bachira slowly murmured words that he wasn’t supposed to utter asleep- “next time too... please?”

"Life certainly isn't easy for everyone, in my case, it has made it hard for me to spend a day such as this with someone-" his captivating amethyst eyes, although it could be characterized as disinterested or dull, it was far from the attentiveness and curiosity that reflects from them- "how about you? "Well, I thought it'd be interesting. And I was right." You sipped from your drink, a smile painted on your lips.

"I'm glad you think that way, most people would have been afraid of me," a hint of sadness was visible in his face as he answered."

You stopped in your tracks, making him stay along with you. "People user and honest heart. Hitoshi Shinso. You mesmerize me, from your name to who you are as a whole. I think we'd make a great pair."

"I would like to believe the same, Y/N L/N." He took in every moment he shared with you the last few hours, together with the moment you are sharing right this time. "This was just the first time that we met but I have enjoyed more than I ever did before, thank you for that."

“Oh? What is he doing here?” You murmured, asking yourself what is the familiar man doing at the same place as you.

The man was wearing navy blue long-sleeves partnered with a bottom of a different color. He looked very casual in comparison to his daily outfit whenever you see him in the village.

Even without the jacket and head protector, you’ll always be able to recognize the one and only Kakashi of the Sharingan.

What’s strange about him though was the flowers he was holding. To whom would he give it? Does he have a significant other?

From afar, he came closer to you in no time. He could not be treading his way to you, yet just a few seconds after, he's already standing right at your front.

“Ah, excuse me?” The man asked but you only pointed to yourself, confirming whether he was talking to you or not. He nodded in response. “Y/N-san, right?”

“Yes, Kakashi-san?”

“Oh? You still remember me!” With a faint blush to his cheeks, he scratched the back of his head. “I’m actually here for a date but it seems my date still hasn’t arrived yet.”

“Wait- I’m also here for a date, could you have joined the matchup?”

“I… did.” His brow scrunched up, eyes widened before it slowly crinkled to a smile. “I’m looking forward to spending this day with you, Y/N-san.”

“This place is famous isn’t it?“

“It is, Sweetheart,” the gentleman confirmed.

Curious, your eyes wandered around the empty place. As it was already late in the afternoon, people should be coming in by now, however, there was no one.

“Yet, there’s only the two of us,” you murmured, wondering.

“I thought it’d be better if I rented the whole place for you, so…”

Bewilderment easily covered your face. “You did?”

He nodded. “Well, I just wanted to fulfill your request.”

Ran Haitani really did. The wide glass panels let you enjoy the view of both the setting sun and the flicker of lights in the city. Mellow music plays in the background as you drink. The rooftop screamed of both modernness and luxury.

“Then, Y/N-“ he placed his elbow on the table and supported his chin with his hand, looking at you with a little grin- “let’s get to know each other, shall we?”

It was one fine day when you entered the restaurant where you are bound to meet your date. The place looked very classy, with different kinds of vintage-looking things decorating it. The tables were full of couples, with only one man seated near the window- wearing the clothes of whom you were supposed to meet.

You weren’t even near the table yet but it seems that he was able to sense you as you met his eyes. Just from what you were able to see, he looked ethereal. Similar to a famous painting, his black curls framed his face perfectly. The two moles on his forehead are similar to an unforgettable trademark.

“L/N-san?” He stood from his seat, waiting for you to arrive.

“Yes! Sakusa-san right?” You reached out your hand to him. For a few seconds, you doubted whether he was going to accept your hands, thankfully, he did.

Settled in your seats, you wondered why he still hasn’t taken off his mask. Again, he must have noticed how you were curiously staring at him.

“Do you want me to take off my mask?”

“Ah no, it’s alright. If you’re comfortable then that’s what matters. I’m sorry, please don’t mind me!” Chuckling, you awkwardly scratched your forehead. Meanwhile, Sakusa stopped midway of removing his mask.

“Are you sure?”

You tilted your head. “Yes, I am. Why wouldn’t I be?”

“Nothing. Just thought you’d be curious.”

“I am, actually.” You laughed at your admission. “However, you’re far more important than my curiosity. Also, you look very lovely just the way I see you now.”

“Y/N, look in here.” You did as you were instructed, letting you meet with the camera’s lens and your date’s attractive narrow eyes.

“Hey, that’s unfair! You’ve been capturing pictures since earlier while I don’t even have one with you,” you complained to the man still holding his phone to your face.

He chuckled, bringing down his phone before answering you. “Come here, then.”

Your date reached out his hand which you accepted. He pulled you to his side, arm on your shoulder, the camera of his phone reflecting the two of you. After the count of three, there was finally a photo of the two of you in one frame.

“You like documenting things don’t you?” You asked him, while he turned off his phone and put it back in the pocket of his jacket.

“Well, I guess yes- I’ve gotten used to it. Most of what I’ve captured were of my friends, especially the twin’s bickering. They’re a source of laughter most of the time.” Suna chuckled at the memory.

“Seems like a nice friendship to me,” you commented with a little smile.

“It is, but I do believe I offer something more than a nice friendship-“ a grin, a wink, and his unfaltering charisma- “although I guess friendship can do for now.”

Although the weather was a lot more colder than usual, you were blessed with the sky blue blue skies, and a pretty handsome companion to spend the 14th of February with. He looked especially gentle with his monochromatic beige outfit as well as the smile that always occupies his thin lips, they match well with his light grey hair. A pretty man, indeed.

"Should we take a seat first?" He asked you.

"Oh, it's alright. I actually like walking while talking to you, do you mind?"

"Not at all." He lightly turned his head left and right, eyes crinkled from smiling. "Uhm, L/N-san?"

You raised your brows with a teasing smile directed at him. "Yes, Sugawara-san?"

"Ah, you can just call me Koshi-" an embarrassed chuckle escaped his lips.

"I told you it makes it too formal!"

"I'm sorry, just a little nervous."

"That's alright. Then, you can just call me Y/N, too."

The park with all the festive pink and red decorations have only become more lively as vendors, couples, and families try to enjoy the day. There were some setting up their picnic space, some children running around, and some couples capturing the moments they spend together with their cameras.

"So, Y/N?"

"Yes, Koshi?"

"I just want to tell you how glad I am that I get to be with you today. It's the first time I ever tried to attend a blind date-" Sugawara was interrupted by a sudden cry, a literal one- "oh?"

"Daddy!"

A child just a little above Sugawara’s knee was hugging him, squishing his rosy cheeks to the startled man with a giggle. Then, a few seconds after, a voice called out what seems to be the child's name as he let go and looked at the voice's owner.

"Mom! I found Dad!"

"Yuuto! Your Dad is here!" The lady pointed at the man beside her, who wore an outfit quite similar to your date.

"Huh? But-" the child slowly looked at Sugawara who bent his knees before ruffling the child's hair.

"I'm not yet a Dad, Kiddo." His reassuring smile prevented the child from being embarrassed, he pinched the child's cheeks before telling him to be careful going back to his parents.

The child bid his final farewell. "Bye-bye, Mr. Angel!"

You only laughed at the unexpected interaction while the man on spotlight had his cheeks burning red.

"Mr. Angel- Koshi,” you called him.

He shook his head, laughing at you this time. "I’m no angel, Y/N. It’s more likely for you to be an angel.”

“I guess we’ll have to see it for ourselves, then. Good thing we still have a lot of time to spend together.”

You don’t know who would show up at the blind date, could there be possibly someone who’d like to go somewhere they don’t even know of? Yes, there was. The man possesses even more qualities that you like.

In the middle of the day, you were riding a train off to somewhere you have never gone to. It was quite packed and so the both of you were left standing, he was holding the small of your back, supporting you.

You looked up to the man which let you meet a pair of pleasing purple eyes. Although it was a little noisy (and his eyes got you mesmerized) you were able to hold up a conversation with him.

“So… Rindou?”

“Yes, Pretty?”

A smile occupied your lips. “I’m just curious as to why you were interested in this blind date and all.”

“Oh, it was because I thought it’s interesting.” He didn’t let your eyes go, staring straight into them. “I didn’t expect anyone to match with me. You’re interesting. I’m looking forward to getting to know you better.”

As the bus came to a stop, Rindou held your waist tightly. “Here we are, Pretty! Now, shall we go on an adventure?”

Quite a few people have already been enjoying their day on the streets, spending time with their special someone. Meanwhile, clad in your most comfortable but fashionable outfit, you fiddled with your clothes, looking around for someone with black hair sporting a cream-colored hoodie.

Then, you happened to fling your eyes over at a man with the same appearance as the description you were looking for. An attractive one at that. You hope his personality would be the same, with that wish you were continuously chanting, you took a deep breath and walked towards him.

“Excuse me-“ you gently uttered to make your presence known- “would you happen to be here for the blind date?”

The furious typing of the man has ceased. From the gadget, his attention slowly directed to you. As if you were a protagonist of a romance novel, the world suddenly disappeared, and only the man before you exists. In contrast to his cool as well as intimidating black hair, a gentle light blue eyes met yours.

“Y/N?”

Snapping back to reality, you parted your lips, replying. “Oh, yes, I’m Y/N.”

“It’s nice to meet you, Y/N.” He held out his hand, flashing a smile, his cute canine teeth catching your attention. It was an adorable smile, you can’t disagree. “Chifuyu. Chifuyu Matsuno.”

That was just your meet-cute. The date has gone even better than you had hoped.

“Hey, Chifuyu! Should we play this one?” You suggested, pointing at a 2D fighting game with a cheerful smile.

“Of course.” He stood in front of the game besides you, inserting a coin as well.

You started playing, targeting the moving avatars on the screen. However, you noticed Chifuyu losing quite quickly, he only got a few tickets off the machine. On the other hand, you have been racking quite a lot.

“Oh? You’re too good at this,” Chifuyu stated, putting his hands on his knees to support himself, and looking at the surging tickets of your machine.

“Am I?” If he didn’t look at you right away he wouldn’t have seen the little smile that you stopped by biting your lower lip.

“Yes, you are, Y/N.” He chuckled, enchanted by the smile he had the chance to glimpse at. “Such a cutie too.”

While he was enchanted, you were enticed by the game- almost a little aggressively pressing the controls until the inevitable has happened.

“Argh! I almost got the jackpot!”

“Don’t be frustrated too much-“ he flashed his ‘signature canine smile’ once again, ruffling your hair- “look at those tickets on your feet! If that’s not much, then what would become of the measly tickets I have?”

A giggle escaped your lips. “Should I be saying that to you then?”

“Ah, don’t mind me!” He scratched the back of his head. “Let’s try the claw machine over there, shall we?”

“Sure- but I’m not quite lucky there compared to other games. Claw machines are far more frustrating.”

Chifuyu only gave you a smirk before holding your hand and bringing you along with him to the claw machines.

He inserted a coin into the machine, the game started right after. Chifuyu controlled the claw to move towards right on top of a black cat plushie. You crossed your fingers, hoping for him to succeed.

“Go, Chifuyu!” You cheered him on, also looking at the intimidating timer.

“Aaaa~nd got it!”

The plushie was obtained successfully!

“Wah! That’s amazing, Chifuyu!”

He rubbed his neck with a little smile, holding out the plushie towards you. “I got it for you. Now, I won’t be as frustrated.”

Your parted lips must have given you away as he answered without you having to ask your question.

“I just wanted to give you something since I know my tickets can’t be exchanged for a nice prize- I thought I could just win something for you instead.”

“That’s really nice of you, Chifuyu. Thank you so much for this.” You received the plushie with both of your hands. “I shall name our cat ‘Fuyu’.”

“Well, if that’ll make you happy-“ the gentle light blue eyes of his reflected not only yours but his happiness as well- “happy valentines, Y/N.”

Passing cars and their occasional honk, the clatter of heels on the pavement, people moving forward to where they must be. There you are, a particle of dust in the universe with a mini-drum on your chest, creating a beat that says you’re alive- living.

You are living in a place where you must be. At the moment, it was beside the man you have been matched with for a blind date. You were opening your heart together, with each other.

“Is there any reason why you chose to go here in particular?”

He held you close, hands lightly keeping you from getting swept away by the crowd.

“Simply- it’s close to me, you know, there were memories I’ve made in here. I wanted you to also see that, have just much fun as I had.”

It was very easy to spot your date when the cafe wasn’t crowded, especially when there’s only a family eating breakfast and a particularly handsome man reading a book while sipping from the cup of his coffee.

The man was seated in a relaxed manner, gracefully adjusting the glasses he wore that was protecting his precious sapphire-like eyes before tucking his arm back to his stomach.

You slowly approached him, stopping in front of the table before getting his attention.

“Uhm, Akaashi-san?”

From the book, his wide eyes looked at you, lips parting for a bit until he suddenly stood. “Ah, it’s nice to meet you! You can call me Keiji.”

You accepted his hands, stating your name right after. The flow of your conversation went pretty easily.

“Have you ever been here before?” You asked him while stirring your drink.

“I haven’t, actually. This was a place recommended to me by a friend. What do you think about the pastries, though? Are you enjoying them?”

“I am! I think this place is a hidden gem, I noticed not a lot of people are coming in here but their pastries taste good,” you commented.

“Agreed. Aside from their menu, this place itself serves a different ambiance, probably because as you’ve said- not a lot of people come in here.”

As he finished his sentence, the chime from the door signaled a new customer to which you turned your head, then Akaashi continued speaking.

“I’d love to explore more places with you, Y/N. Would you allow me to?”

The day was just about to end, not for you, however. While you were in the middle of a conversation with your date pink and orange hues painted the skies as the sun slowly descends below the horizon.

You both found a common ground with the dedication that each of you gives to the things you do.

“I know it takes quite a lot of energy and effort, you must be proud of yourself.”

“I am. I’m sure you’re proud of yourself too, Hajime. We’re halfway there, already!”

Being close to the line of work the both of you want to do makes each other’s struggle relatable. More importantly, he was not just an attractive face but one with an attractive personality as well.

“What has made you decide to take this path, though?” You curiously asked him.

“Well, I used to be the Vice-Captain of our high school volleyball team, even if I won’t be playing now, at least I still get to work on something related to it.”

You were looking directly at his eyes as you walk and listen to his answer, you didn’t even notice the obstacle from your path, and so Iwaizumi pulled your waist close to him, evading the passerby.

“Oh, thank you-“ your eyes traveled from the arms around your waist to the people making their way opposite of you- “uh, so… you hold the sports dear to you now?”

He unwrapped his arms from its place, settling his hand just quite a bit on your lower back to guide you. “That, I do. I must say, the bonds I have created from sports are another factor. Actually, those friends of mine were the ones who initiated that I join this date.”

“I must thank them, then,” you absent-mindedly answered.

Iwaizumi scratched the back of his head, faint red lighting his cheeks. “If you want, we could meet them another time.”

“Another time?”

His eyes evaded yours. “Yeah, another time.”

“Like another date?”

“Like... another date.”

A nervous wreck, at least, that’s what you have come to call the scenery in front of you. You can see the beads of sweat trickling down his forehead, the color of ruby painting his cheeks, and his twinkling pair of brown eyes going left and right- evading your gaze.

He was a nervous wreck, you can’t deny that, but he was also charming. The man looked soft especially with his little sweater paws, furthermore, his tuft of blond hair adds to his style.

“Nishinoya-kun?”

“Ah? Oh! Yu would be fine-“ Nishinoya scratched his temple with a shy smile- “Y/N-san.”

“Okay, Yu-kun! Please be comfortable with me as well, I’d love to get to know you even better.”

Nishinoya fiddled with his fingers atop the table separating the two of you. He inhaled quite deeply, closing his eyes, then he took his time to meet your gaze. When he did, air stuck in his lungs for a few seconds before he gained back his ability to speak.

“I-“ Nishinoya cleared his throat- “I’d love to get to know you better too.”

It was already late afternoon, the people’s surge on the seaside still hasn’t subsided, and you were yet to meet your date. The sun was setting as if it was slowly swallowed by the sea with each wave.

Where was he? You wondered. It would truly be hard to find someone amidst all the people celebrating the day.

A man about 6 feet in height, black hair, and a simple beige polo shirt. That was who you came face-to-face with the moment you turned, startling the both of you.

“L/N Y/N?”

“Oh,” you muttered, still quite surprised. ��Sano Shinichiro?”

A warm smile immediately made its way to his face, extending his hands to you. “Uh, it’s nice to meet you! You can call me Shinichiro.”

“Y/N.” You firmly shook his hand. “It’s nice to meet you.”

“Would you like to stay here for a bit more and enjoy the scenery?”

“That would be nice,” you agreed, nodding with a coy smile.

It must be due to the sky’s color but a tinge of pink was painting his cheeks.

“After this, maybe… you’d like to go on a ride with me?”

The answer was yours to choose.

His short white-grey hair with black streaks truly makes a statement of how peculiar and fun he is as a person. He looked rather calm, however, his bright twinkling golden eyes give away the excitement that he feels.

It was nothing extraordinary, he was just with you in a park full of different amusement rides- with tons of people occupying them. Everyone seems happy, and so is he.

“Hey, Y/N! What should we try first?”

You suggested the ride he had been eyeing since earlier, the classic Ferris wheel ride decorated with colorful lights that makes it shine and stand out.

It was not hard to mimic him- stretching your lips with your cheeks popping, even more so when his smile was easily contagious.

Surprisingly, it did not take you quite a lot of time to board the aforementioned ride. Just a few minutes after and you got to see not just the majestic view up in the air- but as well as the shimmering sparkles of joy in your date’s eyes.

“Y/N!” He looked at you expectantly. “Isn’t the view really beautiful? What can you say about it?”

“It is very beautiful, Bokuto-san.”

“You can just call me Koutaro, Y/N.” You hummed as a sign of okay.

“Haven’t you ever ridden a Ferris wheel before, Koutaro?” You asked him.

“I did!”

Out of genuine curiosity, you asked him once more. “Then, why do you seem so happy?”

“Well, you know how some things do not go old? I consider this sight as one of those things. This would always remind me of my childhood, and! It’s also a nice reminder that it’s okay to let your inner child free sometimes, don’t you think so too?”

You bobbed your head up and down, agreeing. Your smile just stretching even wider.

“This ride is just much more happier since I get to experience this with you, Y/N-san!”
