This is haunt aftermath 🧟🧛🏼👻 It’s 2:15 AM and I just got home; crazy busy night but Saturdays usually are. Can I put myself down for 4 hours of HIIT? 😏 Seriously, if you’ve ever worked in a professional haunted house you know that’s not really a stretch lol ... I’m exhausted & I’m also happy to report that I’m still getting in at least 100 abs a day. @nitastraussbodyshred Accountability post Days 29 & 30 REALLY need to get in the habit of doing these daily 🤦🏻♀️ Anyway, this was me last night after finishing Wednesday’s workout, even added some extra legs, did extra reps of each exercise and 340 abs. @hurricanenita @nitastraussbodyshred This does not look like the typical #nitastraussbodyshred post.. cuz it’s not 😄 But I’m learning/realizing that if you seriously commit to something & want it badly enough you find a way to make it work! So this is me doing just that! I work at a haunted attraction every year which means from last weekend in September thru Halloween my Fridays & Saturday’s are completely full and also very physical. Last night I spent 4 hours repeatedly climbing up/down step stool lifting about 10lb board, dropping it, lifting it back into place. Squats, lunges, abs done! @nitastraussbodyshred Day 20 & 21/90 Kept yesterday’s active rest day pretty low key. Got my regular abs in for #minichallenge & finished with some much needed stretching. Today showed a little more progress 💪🏼 Got through chest & back sets OK, still having a bit a time working on the push ups but not struggling until I get to last set so 👏🏻 Finished whole routine with an almost 2 minute plank!! @nitastraussbodyshred I realized my last post 3 days ago😳 Geesh, I know I need to do better in keeping up with daily posts bc I’ve come to use them to hold myself accountable to me if nothing else; for both physical & mental health. That said the following is a combo post😉 Not gonna lie Shred & Freak Fam: this has been a hell of a week & @hurricanenita I’ve struggled to get my workouts in but I did! It meant some tweaking & adjustments and I could’ve easily let myself use excuse not to workout bc tbh it was valid reason and I really don’t think anyone would object. To quote the #BiconicQueen @officiallzzyhale “....the last few days have kicked my ass”! But ‘Here’s to me’ bc I powered through and I’m still here and i didn’t let myself down by giving in. And ‘Here’s to Us!’ ALL FREAKS & Shredders alike: cause I absolutely could not have pulled through this without either of my families (and it’s so awesome that they overlap! :) Thank YOU ALL for being there! You helped me just by posting your own stories, successes, goals; even though you might not know it. My rough times are not over; far more ahead. I claim victory for myself!! 💪🏼 If you happen to be from my neck of the woods (which 99.99% of you seeing this are not😝) no explanation is needed here! Do to put into perspective, think of the most delectably irresistible treat you’ve had and go with that! These were bought in to my work today and I DID NOT have even a nibble🤗 I’ve been known to have 2 at times. But not today! I even walked around offering to everyone until I was left with in empty box & fulfilled confidence. I’m slacking on my posting but at least I’m keeping up with my daily workouts and abs!👍🏻 1st pic is from Monday(Day14). Wow, there’s a very noticeable difference in my upper body strength already! Day 1 kicked my ass! Lol I could barely 1 push-up but tonight when it was time to knock ‘em out I did just that!!! Now granted I am doing the ‘cheater’ ones using my knees but hey, progress!! My end goal is to get they at least 1 set full pushups without stopping. 💪🏼 2nd pic is from last night (Day 15) struggled a bit on balance/form but I think I was just unfocused. I have officially moved up from 5lb to 8lb weights so ‘yay me’! Also begin Sunday adding a few belly dance drills to daily abs. @hurricanenita Day 12 down! Had HIIT workout finished and 220 abs in by 10:30 AM. Even managed too increase weights by 3 lbs and get extra reps in throughout 👏🏻👏🏻 yay me! Yesterday for active rest day got my abs in and activity by breaking out some belly dancing drills and hip circles. This is my day 5&6 post. Had to take a small road trip Saturday so that was my active rest day. So did a fair amount of walking around + 100 abs for #minichallenge Today was another 100 abs for challenge and then Nita’s HIIT 🥵 Just Wow~ You can tell from the pics I was only slightly conscience after all that!lol Actually looking forward to starting out week 2!
