Another JDM/Japanese cars event was organised in my city. Expecting to see FD was too much, but at least I saw that beautiful Celica Supra. For me it was the most interesting car out there. And apparently the owner is a fan of Initial D. I just wish the event started later because taking photos in direct sunlight was difficult.

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Sports Car Concept

What if...Mitsubishi cooked up this insane concept and returned the 3000GT back to the American market? This would be direct competition with the NSX, Corvette, and GTR and be born of the track inspired and tuned specifically to take on the Nürburgring. Equipped with a twin turbo in house built V6 as well as being paired with a 8 speed manumatic paddle shifted transmission as well as optional full automatic transmission. And of course with this being the VR-4 model, it would be theoretically all wheel drive while the GT and Standard 3000GT would be rear wheel drive. And specific to the VR-4, if you opt for the top fully loaded version you get the option of four-wheel fully active steering as well. And available on all models the return of the Mitsubishi Active aerodynamics system called "Active Aero Control System" that actively controls down force and applies it where it needs it most.
