hi! I've been really into doctor who lately, but I can't find many headcanons on tumblr!! if you have time or are interested, can you do headcanons of 9,10, and 11 having a crush on the reader? (or if you'd rather only do one, that's fine too!)
a/n hey! i absolutely love this idea... so let's do it!! i'm going to do this with our wonderful time lords 9 and 10.
Tumblr media
Pairing: 9/10th Doctor x GN!Reader Fandom: Doctor Who Genre: headcannons, fluff Word Count: 708 Warnings: Nothing really... Obliviousness? Denial?
9th Doctor
he would never admit it, but he notices these little things about you.
your laugh... how the corners of your eyes crinkle and your head tilts back when something amuses you. he notices that when whatever you're laughing at is funny enough, your laugh turns into a bit of a wheeze. he can tell you're embarrassed by it, but he thinks its cute adorable nice.
he notices what your favourite colour is, and when he gets you a big box full of stuff that is your favourite colour he feels a smile stretch over his face when you grin. when you ask how he knew your favourite colour, he lied and said that the TARDIS told him (to which the TARDIS hummed in disagreement).
he notices what your favourite food is. he even takes you to the past/future to let you try all the different variations of your favourite foods.
he calls you "fantastic" a lot (Rose and Jack definitely notice)
he sees how close you are with Rose and Jack, but although he doesn't mind Rose, Jack notices how the time-lord's eyes get just a bit darker and a frown is etched on his face whenever he sees you with the 'handsome' ex-time-agent.
he never tells you any of this, though, because he doesn't know how he feels. the time war is still too fresh in his mind for him to come to terms with his emotions.
if you are there when he regenerates (which of course you are) he'll tell you that you were "bloody fantastic" one last time before the golden glow covers his body.
10th Doctor
this version of the time lord is different... you're not complaining though.
he rambles and rambles on about the planets, stars, and the galaxy and tells you about all the places he is going to take you (all the companions tell you he's just trying to impress you, but you wave them off, telling them he's just being his regular time lord self)
he can't help but smile when you smile, laugh when you laugh, and he has to fight of his tears when he sees you cry.
when you both lose Rose, he really does cry with you. he holds you tighter than ever and vows to never let the terrors of the universe reach you.
when you both meet Martha, the Doctor notices how you and her get along almost as well as you did with Rose. he happily takes the med-student along with you on your new adventures
he's beyond terrified when he gets possessed by the sun, thinking that he's going to hurt you (or worse, kill you) and there would be nothing he could do to stop himself. when you and martha save him, he contemplates taking you home, where you'd be safe from all the dangers of travelling with him, but you tell him that you're going to stay with him forever. he's stuck with you now (and he's not complaining at all)
when he turns into john smith, he falls in love with you instead of the matron. when the family of blood is defeated and he turns back into his old self, he hates that he can't bring himself to tell you that those three months, a mere fraction in his time lord life, was the best that he had ever lived.
after a year without you and the torture of being with the Master, the Doctor realises how short his time with you might be. when he sees his old friend, the Master, dying in his arms, he knows that he'd never forgive himself if he let anything happen to you
he finally tells you that he loves you
happily, he takes you out to romantic locations across the galaxy, picnics on New Earth, watching outer-space operas, and even just sitting on beaches on a planet where the ocean glows with pink and purple hues. he loves doing what you love
when Donna comes along, the Doctor and you both find her to be an amazing friend, and when you both meet a strange woman named River Song at the Library, she grins knowingly, knowing what the future had in store for the both of you.
end xx dreamtheatre requests are open!

Wrong Tardis (Ninth Doctor x M!Reader/ Tenth Doctor x M!Reader)
I'm not a huge fan of Nine but I'm slowly going back and watching his episodes and he's kinda growing on me.
Not sure if he's ooc here (though I'm like 90% sure Rose is) but whatever. I'm super excited for tomorrow's special and really wanted to write more for this series.
If you have any requests for this series send me an ask! (just keep in mind I have my own plans for big episodes like Silence in the Library or End Of Time.
Wordcount: Just over 1k

The Tardis was old, like really old, like when the Doctor stole it it was already in a museum old. So occasionally it glitched, nothing too big. That is until it glitched and teleported you you to Cardiff 2005.
That was a whole earth year before you even met the Doctor. On the plus side the glimpse of his face you saw before you were teleported told you he would find you and come to pick you up, it was only a matter of time so you walked around.
You had yet to be in Cardiff in 2005, you'd been in to Cardiff circa 1910 but not 2005 so you look around, you saw the sights, you people watched for a bit and then you saw a familiar blue box.
"About time" You told yourself as you walked in.
"Did you fix the timezone processor?" You asked, happy to be back. By your calculation is had been about 3 hours.
"Who're you?" Asked a blonde woman who'd put herself between you and the Tardis console. You blinked.
You may have jumped to conclusions.
Looking around the inhabitants of this Tardis were very much not the inhabitants of yours. You only recognized one face. Captain Jack Harkness (Though he wasn't traveling with you when you'd been teleported away).
"You're Rose Tyler" You said to the woman who stood in front of you and she nodded.
"Yeah, and who are you?" She asked again. By now Jack and the Doctor, or the man you assumed was the Doctor were looking at you wearily.
You looked to the Doctor, his hair was darker and buzzed close to his head, his forehead creased in ways your Doctor's didn't and his ears were definitely larger than you remembered them being. Looking into his eyes calmed you though, because those were definitely the eyes of the man you loved. Though perhaps a few years younger.
This was the Doctor before you'd met him. before he knew you existed, maybe even before he destroyed Gallifrey.
"Well? Aren't you gonna answer her?" Asked Jack all three were looking at you expectantly.
"I'm an anthropologist" You finally said.
"An anthropologist?" Rose asked and you nodded.
Both Jack and Rose looked at you intently, not really buying it.
"Is that your name?" Rose asked wearily.
"No" You answered honestly, "But I can't tell you my name. I'm sorry." You told her and once again looked at the Doctor. He hadn't said anything yet.
"What do you mean you can't tell us your name? Why?" Rose asked.
"Because he's from the future Rose" The Doctor finally said, climbing down from the ladder he was perched on when you burst in.
"Aren't you?" He asked and you nodded.
"You're from my future" He said and you smiled almost sadly.
"Inquisitive as ever Doctor" You told him.
"I should go" You said, slowly turning around.
"Wait, if you're really from the future how come you were so shocked to see us? Don't you know us? Like, the future us?" Rose asked.
"He can't tell you anything Rose, it could put the whole timeline at risk" The Doctor said.
"He's right, I really shouldn't even be here. I thought this was my Doctor's Tardis coming to finally pick me up."
"Finally? How long have you been here?" Jack asked.
"About three hours" You told him.
"Does that mean there's another version of the Doctor wanderin' around Cardiff right now?" Rose asked and you chuckled a bit.
"No, we had a bit of glitch—" "With the timezone processor?" The Doctor asked.
"I can't tell you that" You said but he smiled at you with the cheeky little smile that only this face must have because you'd never seen it before and you sighed, "Yes with the timezone processor".
"What's a timezone processor?" Rose asked.
"It's what keeps all occupants of the Tardis in the same time bubble in flight" Both you and the Doctor said together, the two of you looked at each other.
"It's going to be your fault you know. You don't check the timezone processor enough and at some point it's going to act up. I want you to remember me saying this when I see you again. It's your fault" You told him but your voice held no malice, quite the opposite, it was loving teasing and both Rose and Jack could tell.
"I'm gonna go meet Mickey at the train station" Rose said and she grabbed Jack with her as she left. Leaving you and the Doctor alone but not before looking at the Doctor one last time, smiling and giving him a big old wink.
With just the two of you left the Tardis was quiet except for the soft whirring of the engine as it fueled up.
"How do you know what a timezone processor is?" The Doctor asked.
"I can't tell you" You said.
"When are you from?" He asks.
"I can't tell you that either" You repeat.
"Then can you tell me why you're looking at me like that?" He asks.
You step closer to him and gently cradle his face in your hands.
"I've never this face before" You simply say.
"What are you to me?" He asks.
"One day you'll find out. One day you're going to look at this face and smile and you're going to call me brilliant and when you do you're going to remember this and who knows, maybe I'll see this face again" You told him and kissed his cheek.
The wheezing sound of the Tardis landing could be heard faintly from beyond the wooden doors and you smiled widely.
"See you soon" You said and turned around, walking out to hopefully find your Doctor waiting for you.
Outside the Tardis stood another blue police box with the door open and the Doctor stood outside.
"There you are! We've been looking all over for you!" He said. His face was covered in oil and grease.
"Did you fix the timezone processor?" you asked.
"Eh, eventually" The Doctor said.
"And was it sparking because of a loose wire from when we crashed on Auros?" You asked, admittedly somewhat condescendingly.
"Yes" The Doctor mumbled and you rolled your eyes.
"I told you to check it" You said as you walked inside. The Doctor closed the door behind you.
"Y/N" He said, calling your name and you turned your attention from the Tardis console to him.
"Yes love?" You asked.
"Have I told you that you're brilliant?" He asked and you smiled.
"Not recently, no" You said.

Imagine telling the Doctor why you’re hesitant to take another trip…
We should do it again. What do you say to another trip?
You gave your reply and the Doctor frowned, quite honestly very puzzled to have heard the word from your mouth. “Did you say no?”
You nod back unsure of why you felt so shameful about it. You had nothing to be ashamed about. Your reply was based on fact.
“Why?” The Doctor questioned. “We had fun didn’t we? Met new people, ate lots of food.”
Taking a long sigh, you walked around the console, fingers gently tracing the oddly shaped glowing buttons.
“I just - I can’t.” You said and paused to look up at the Doctors face. “It’s not that I don’t love our trips or your company because I do. But I…”
“You what?”
“I’m scared.” You confessed and before the Doctor could begin listing a hundred of the scariest foes you both faced, you continued. “I’m scared of what happens to the people you travel with.”
The Doctors expression dropped. It was unreadable and you hated that it was you who had been the cause of it. Unfortunately, it was the truth and you promised the Doctor early on to never lie unless it was critical.
But right now as you stood before the Time Lord - you wished you had lied.
“Listen, I know it’s not your fault. But I’ve seen the history and it doesn’t lie. To venture with you is like a-” you stopped yourself from saying ‘death sentence’ and started again. “I love our adventures. I enjoy a few risks. But even you can’t guarantee that I’ll return home.”
The Doctor simply stared at you. There was no movement, it honestly had you questioning if the two hearts were even beating. After what felt like ten supernovas, the Doctor moved to the console and flicked at a few buttons and knobs until the TARDIS began to stir.
“Where would you like to be dropped off?”
At the question, you felt a lump in your throat. Swallowing it down, you provided your destination and watched as the Doctor mapped a course before leaving console and disappeared behind a large door.
As you felt your heart break, the TARDIS whined mechanically. Gently rubbing the console, you sighed. “I don’t want to go either. But I’ve been marked with a bio-tracker. Wherever I go, enemies will find us. If I don’t leave now, the Doctors life will be in imminent danger and that’s one risk I’m not willing to take.”

the doctor (9/10/11) + reader
(platonic/familial)
ask: Doctor x daughter reader? Where reader already knows most of what's going to happen because she's from 11 and Rivers time but through timey wimey stuff ends up traveling with 9 and rose and eventually 10? This might be too specific but the way I have it in my head is she ended up being a partner in crime with Jack and so the first time they meet she's with him and the doctor is like “Who are you?!” and she's all “Spoilers!........ I've always wanted to say that!”
You’ve been running since you were born. A breathing enigma, that’s what they called you. There’s no point in explaining how, or even why. It’s really no fun to have an answer anyway.
Honestly the only thing that’s important is that, much like River, you’re living your life in the wrong order, jumping around without rhyme or reason. You don’t mind, it keeps things exciting. It’d been a while of traveling with Eleven and the Ponds, so you figured you were due for another temporal displacement. But you just didn’t think it’d be so far back.
You’d always found Jack interesting, no matter how much each Doctor warned you to be careful. And he’s always out there, no matter the time period, which works perfectly for you. So you track him down again, preparing an introduction, knowing he certainly hasn’t met you yet.
It ends up being unnecessary, since when you find him, he’s too busy dodging laser-fire to listen to your story. In fact, he immediately promises to pay you handsomely if you pretend to be a hostage. And he seems pleasantly surprised when you take little-to-no convincing, ruffling your hair and dashing across the bridge with you, gun to your back. By the time you guys make it across the border safely, he’s offering a partnership, grin plastered on his face. With a matching smile, you agree, excited to continue your streak of befriending Jack in any time.
This arrangement leads you to run into the Doctor, as traveling with Jack always seems to do.
Meeting Nine
The first time you properly see Nine, your mouth fully drops open.
You’d known him through pictures, shared memories, stories, but never in person. He’s real, and new, and standing right in front of you. Jack offers him a mock salute, glancing back to see you still standing in silence. Before you can stop yourself, your mouth starts to form a sentence, the first thing you could think of to say.
“Your ears are proper huge!”
Rose has to grab his arm to keep him from lunging towards you, planting her feet to yank him back. He stumbles slightly but lets her keep him in place, angrily fixing his coat collar, “And who would you be then?”
Jack chuckles, arms crossed while he lets you talk. A giddy grin spreads across your face, eyes lighting up with genuine excitement as you shoot him a playful wink, “Can’t say! Spoilers!”
You try and fail to stifle your smile, looking between the others, “I’ve always wanted to say that.”
Nine just throws his arms up in the air, “Great, wonderful, fantastic. Spoilers, what is that supposed to mean?”
After thinking about it more, he pivots his body to direct the question towards Jack. Resting his hands on his hips, he taps his foot impatiently, and you can’t help but think he looks like a disgruntled mother.
Jack shrugs, “She’s my partner.”
Over Nine’s shoulder, you see Rose make a gagging expression. You shake your head frantically, “Not- no- just partners! No- erm- skadoodling.”
This time it’s Jack turn to gag, as he mouths ‘skadoodle?’ to you. You shrug, and Jack rolls his eyes, “It’s true. Just partners, none of- what she said.” He pauses before continuing, “Despite my best efforts.”
Shoving him him pointedly, you look back towards Nine’s irritated expression, “I’m a friend of the Doctors, and that’s all I can say. Jack can swear that I’m not a spy, or whatever.”
You shoot a sharp look in Jack’s direction and he makes a cross over his heart, “Hope to die.”
Nine groans, “Can nothing ever be easy with me? Does everything have to be so convoluted.”
Rose rolls her eyes, “Tell me about it.”
She looks towards you, recognizing something in your eyes. The same thing she sees in the Doctor’s. Shake shakes it off, just excited about the prospect of having another girl in the Tardis to talk too. Before Nine can cut in, she steps forward, “Jack’s word is good enough for me! We’re about to see the emerald fields, do you wanna come?”
Your face splits into a bright smile, “Do I? I have like three hats from the gift shop!”
Before Nine’s dumbfounded face can come up with more questions, you grab Jack’s hand and pull him inside the Tardis. Looking back as he runs inside, Jack grins towards Nine, “Sorry Doc, looks like the ladies are making the calls!”
Nine follows the both of you inside, dragging Rose behind him and pointing accusatory at you, “Now I’m not sure what kind of small-ear agenda you’re spouting, but I won’t have it in my Tardis. And keep your odd amount of space-time trivia to yourself!”
You nod, giving him a mock salute and giggling as he pinches the bridge of his nose with a soft groan.
Misc. Traveling With Nine
- It’s a lot of him insisting you don’t know something, and you insisting that you do. It typically ends up with Rose and Jack placing money on it. Which Nine shortly banned because they kept only betting on you.
- You keep intentionally hitting buttons on the console and then pretending to be surprised when they work. It cracks Rose up and makes Nine crazy when you ‘bump into’ the landing stabilizers every time they touch down somewhere.
- Rose almost falls to the floor laughing when Jack makes a joke about you and Nine kissing and you make such a disgusted face that Nine almost looks like his feelings were hurt.
- Sometimes you and Jack disappear for a couple days to do something on your own, and every time you come back, Nine pretends like he wasn’t worried. Rose always rolls her eyes behind him, letting you know he’s bluffing. He spends most of the time you’re gone pacing around and complaining about you not calling to let him know you’d be gone.
- Whenever you get a chance to say spoilers, you take it. Nine always find it unreliably infuriating but he eventually stops pressing you for more information.
- He leaves the Tardis one day in ’normal clothes’ to try and go undercover somewhere. When he comes back, you and Rose are taking turns wearing his coat and doing arguably awful impressions of him. Jack is sitting in the chair, grabbing his stomach as he guffaws loudly.
It feels like you’re just getting comfortable when Nine’s time comes to an end, and the regeneration process begins.
You and Rose huddle together, covering each other’s eyes while the glowing light fills the Tardis. You can’t help the tears running down your cheek, even though you already knew this would happen. It doesn’t stop the feelings.
Both of you wait in Jackie’s room as he sleeps, and you can’t properly explain to them why you’re not as worried as everyone else.
When he slowly but surely gets back into the swing of things, you can feel yourself filling with new excitement. It’s another Doctor, whom you’ve never met. Like an second family reunion where only ones of you knows that you’re family.
Misc. Traveling With Ten
- There’s more emotional moments with him, where you almost get hurt and he goes a little crazy trying to make sure you’re safe. It gets to the point where you have to pull him aside, promising that you can handle yourself. He insists he knows that, but it doesn’t stop him from putting himself between you and danger at every opportunity.
- On the rooftop of some scummy restaurant in future Montana, he admits that he trusts you implicitly. He says he can’t understand why, but you feel close to his soul in a way he doesn’t understand. It makes your heart pang to not be able to tell him that you feel the same way.
- You’re there for him when Rose leaves, to sit with him in the silence, and to scream into the canyons on deserted planets. You’re there for Donna, then Martha, then Donna again. You get along with all of them and it always makes you sad to know how things pan out, but you try to just enjoy your time with them.
- There’s somehow even more running than before, and it feels like he’s always grabbing your hand to pull you towards various adventures.
- The both of you get really competitive, always racing to outdo each other’s dramatic conclusion, and forgetting there’s other people around.
- He makes a huge deal out of your birthday, despite them being more a suggestion for Timelords. He takes you to Paris (367 years in the future) for breakfast, back in time for a front-row concert from your favorite musician, and then to 8 different planets for a multiple course dinner and desert.
When you both run into River in the library, you can’t help but let out a soft gasp. River locks eyes with you and in an instant, you know she knows you. Running into her arms, she just laughs and spins you slightly, thanking the universe for aligning you guys so perfectly.
Ten almost genuinely stomps his feet, infuriated, “You have got to be kidding me! How do you two know each other?”
You shoot a playful smile to River, and the both of you turn to face him at the same time, exclaiming a chastising, “Spoilers!”

“ It was quite a sunny day today”
Tumblr media
This gif doesn't belong to me.
Heyyyy! 'sup, let me give you a small temporal paradox with a reader meeting 9th while traveling with Bow tie man. Hope you enjoy it.
Plot hevealy inspired by this work by : @am-i-obsessed---maybe : "Wrong Tardis".
Warning : english is not my first language, so please be indulgent. Might contain a little bit of ansgt, but a lot of comfort for our doctor.
Froggit-
------------------------
The TARDIS had made a strange calculation once again. The Doctor found himself on Earth, in London, yet unsure of the reason behind his visit, still attempting to pick up the signal.
While examining the screens and discussing the matter with his temporary companion, Jack, the doors unexpectedly opened on their own, despite being locked. A female voice called out, leaving him uncertain how to react. The man beside him mirrored his expression before attempting to prevent the stranger from entering.
"Doctor! I thought you were only picking me up at seven; you’re early."
Turning toward the door, the Doctor watched warily as a woman with (h/c) hair approached the console, attempting to send a message to what seemed to be a friend.
"You're awfully quiet, are you okay, darling?" Finally looking up from her phone, the girl realized the situation she had stumbled into. Lifting her chin, she found Jack’s chest mere centimeters from her nose. "Jack? How are you here?" It had been a while since she had seen Jack. His appearances had dwindled after the Ponds began traveling with the Doctor.
“And who might you be, beautiful lady?”
At that moment, she realized her mistake. Looking past the captain, she saw someone she didn’t recognize at first. His hair was too short, his ears larger, and his style vastly different. This wasn’t her Doctor and his gaze indicated that he had never met her before. She had entered the wrong TARDIS. At least with Jack's presence, she assumed he was still with Rose, but she didn’t seem to be with them.
Deciding to take responsibility, she assumed a different identity, at least temporarily. Using a past name seemed the safest option. Neither of them would recognize her if something went wrong.
“Sorry for the intrusion. Name's Sunny. I’m a 'future' friend.”
“Sunny? What a wonderful name. Well, I suppose you already know who I am, but I'll introduce myself anyway. Jack Harkness. Pleasure to meet you.”
Extending his hand, she accepted it with a slight smile. She had forgotten how charming his younger self could be.
“Pleasure to meet you too. So, tell me, what brought you both here? I can only imagine some kind of Sontaran planting a bomb again.”
“Again?” asked the Doctor, now fully turned toward her.
“Spoilers,” she said with a small smile as she examined the younger Doctor. Even with a different face, he was still mesmerizing. She wondered what his smile would look like if he wasn’t frowning so much. She wanted to kiss his forehead, smooth it from any wrinkles.
“We have picked up a strange signal in the middle of London.”
“Never would have thought to be called a strange signal.”
“How could you be the signal?” Asked Jack, now leaning against the rail.
“Your little emitter is dying in my pocket. Distress signal, I guess. When you left me, you were going to look for a new one.” As she put her hands in her pockets, she pulled out a small phone wired with other components.
Approaching the console, she gently brushed it, lingering with a small smile at the old console. “Hello, old girl,” she thought, before handing the device over to the Doctor for analysis.
“How come you have this? I haven't finished this prototype yet.”
“Told you, future friend.”
And there it was, the smile she had been looking for. She almost wished she had met the Doctor sooner to see more of it. Sensing the tension, Jack excused himself, wanting to “explore” for a bit before returning to his time.
-------------
The sound of the sonic made her feel dizzy. The silence felt weird, at least to her. The Doctor hadn’t met her yet, after all, but here she was with a younger version of himself, filling her chest with butterflies .
“So, tell me, why would I give you this sort of device? Do you get lost so often that I need to provide it?”
“Kinda…”
“When are we meant to meet?”
“Hey… Spoilers, darling.”
“And why do you look at me like that?”
“Like what?”
“What are we? Obviously, we are not just friends with those eyes.”
If only he knew. Fiddling with the three rings on her hand, she smiled, thinking back to her “wedding.” It was under weird circumstances, yes, but she couldn’t have wished for a better way. The Doctor, River, and her, before the universe.
“That’s for me to know and you to find out...” Fully turning to face him, she took his hand, their ringed fingers intertwining as if they were always meant to be. “You know what? I suppose I could give you a small glimpse into the future. I’ll give you three questions. Of course, I won't provide anything that could disrupt your timeline. I'd be an awful partner if I did.”
“Partner?”
Looking at his hand in hers, he wanted to ask about the rings. Why were there three, and not one? Was she married to multiple people?
”Why three rings?”
“A promise for each heart. Two were given to me by the man I love, and the last one by a particularly dashing anthropologist.”
“What promise did you make?”
“I promised to always come back to them, no matter what life brings. To love them until the end of the universe without doubt. To love them until I truly die.” As she spoke, he could see the affection she held for those individuals. It wasn’t just promises; she had already fulfilled them before and would do so again if needed.
Thinking back to what was just revealed, he felt his ears burn. Two rings for two hearts . That man was him, at least his future self! Looking at her with wide eyes, he slowly pointed at her and then himself, still unsure of the implications. Her smile melted his hearts as he realized he had guessed correctly. He couldn’t wait to meet her again, but the fact that she had made such a promise meant something significant had happened.
“Something happened, didn’t it?”
“Not in the way you might think.” Lifting her free hand, she cradled his face, brushing his cheek affectionately. “I made this promise on the day of our first encounter. It wasn’t easy for either of us, but there was only one way out of that situation. And I'll have you know it wasn’t your fault. Years from now, you still think of that day as a dark one, where you lost someone once more. To me, it was one of the brightest days in the universe. That day, I finally had a purpose, something to keep going. And I think you tend to forget how powerful your name can be, how much hope you give by simply giving others a way to shine.”
---------------
She went to release his hand, but he held onto it, wanting to savor the moment a few seconds longer. It felt weird, he never had met her before, but here he was trying to make her stay.
“How long until I meet you?”
“I thought I only gave you three questions.”
And there it was, that pleading look he gave her when he wanted something. Those two blue eyes piercing her heart with curiosity, wanting to know more about their first encounter.
“It's going to be a while before you find me, and a brief trip to France to meet me for the first time. And when I say we’re going to meet again, I might have to relearn how to be myself before catching up with  you.”
As she finished her explanation, she heard a faint and familiar whirring noise from the other side of the TARDIS doors. Giving a final smile to the Doctor, she kissed his forehead before finally letting go of his hand.
“Well, this is my leave. See you soon, Doctor…”
And as the TARDIS doors closed, the man beside the console was left in daze. Confused yet excited by this new encounter. This woman was someone he would travel with, fall for, and marry. But what struck him the most was what she had implied: they would meet again and again, yet she would forget it at some point. It pained him a bit to know, but he couldn’t wait to meet her again.
As Jack made his way back, “Sunny” was nowhere to be seen. In her place, a grinning doctor, holding the now repaired device in his hand. Thoughts of a brighter future flooding his mind.
—---------------
Bonus :
“(Y/N) I found what we were searching for !” Did Your doctor exclaim, meeting your gaze with a bright and excited smile. The one you always loved to see. “Also found a yellow note with a sun on it, not sure why, don’t remember putting it here.”
Giving you both, you smiled at the small note. A sun circling a small sentence. “ It was quite a sunny day today”.  Smirking silently, you finally brought the device to your now empty pockets, and folded the small note to put in your phone case.
“Come here bow tie maniac” Reaching for his bow tie, you planted your lips on his forehead before kissing him on the lips.
“How come I didn't know you had worn leather jackets before ?” Did you ask him with a teasing tone.

Could you maybe write some hurt/comfort with the Ninth Doctor where he gives the reader a hug? Thank you very much
I absolutely can! sorry if this is pretty short, I decided to make what he's comforting the reader over pretty vague on purpose (and also apologies if he's ooc as I haven't really written for him before)
Comforting Touch (Ninth Doctor x reader)
Warnings: hurt/comfort, some angst (reader cries but it's not said over what), soft Ninth Doctor
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Barely heard sobs filled the otherwise quiet room as you cried. Today was just not your day, it would seem.
Usually when you were this upset you would go see the Doctor for help, but the reasons why you were crying seemed so juveline and absurd, and you didn't want to bother him over something that didn't really matter.
It was almost as if your thoughts of insecurity had summoned him, because a few moments later you heard the sound of footsteps approaching.
You had your hands covering your face in a poor attempt to muffle your sounds of distress, but you were certain it was him. After all, who else could it be?
"Are you alright?" He asked in a gentle and quiet voice reserved only for you.
Shaking your head no, you opened your mouth in an effort to speak, so you could explain the problem, but all that came out was another broken sob.
The Doctor's face fell at the sound, and he immediately opened up his arms to you, bringing you in for a comforting hug. "Shh, shh. There, there. It's alright," he muttered in the most soothing tone he could muster, not wanting to upset you any further.
You pressed your face into his chest as you cried, tears streaming freely down your cheeks. The Doctor moved his hands down to your back as he held you, moving them along the tense muscles in slow and careful motions.
He didn't dare let go the entire time you were there for, wanting to make you feel as safe and loved as he possibly could. "It's okay, love. You're alright now."
Nodding your head at his words, you pulled away just enough so that you could look into his eyes. "Thank you," you whispered with gratitude, your tears having finally dried.
He smiled softly in response, giving you a caring look. "You're welcome, sweetheart."

9th doctor x reader - made for each other
Tumblr media
Hello! So, I saw that you wanted requests for the 9th doctor and thought I would jump in cause there are not enough fics for 9. I was thinking something where companion reader is injured and 9 nurses her back to health and during that time they admit their feelings for each other. If that's something you would be interested in. - @padawancat97 💜
You couldn’t really remember what had happened, or how you had ended up so badly injured, but you did remember the sounds of the doctor above you, saying you’ll be alright.
You were crying, hand clutching tightly at your side, breathing heavily as you rested your head on the wall behind you.
The doctor was knelt in front of you, one hand pressed over yours on your side, his other on the side of your face.
“I know… I know sweetheart.. I know…” he whispered.
The doctor took his screwdriver out, scanning your side, and he did something that made you scream in pure agony.
“I’m sorry! It’ll help!”
“Make it stop…” you begged weakly.
The doctor looked at you, and he wiped some of your tears away with his hand, leaning down to press a kiss to your forehead.
“I will, I promise I’ll make it all go away…”
The doctor looked behind him, then he turned back to you, running his knuckles along the skin of your cheek, offering you a gentle smile.
“You’re going to be good as new, I promise…”
He looked behind him again, down the hallway to where his TARDIS was, and he looked back you.
“Are you ready for one last run?” He asked softly.
You nervously nodded your head, and he gave you a little grin.
“Of course you are… you always are…”
The doctor placed your arm over his shoulder, his hand pressing tightly on your side.
“Ready…”
He gave a small countdown, and hauled you up which made you cry out in pain and he immediately began to apologise to you.
You both made your way to the TARDIS as fast as you possibly could, the doctor could feel your blood running through his fingers.
He threw the door open, helping you inside and slowly sat you down against the other door.
“I need you to stay awake, okay? Stay awake, keeping looking at me.”
You nodded your head a little bit.
“Good, okay, okay I’ll be right back okay?”
You nodded against.
The doctor ran to the console, his eyes flicking to you, making sure that you were still watching him like he told you to.
He saw your head falling just a little bit.
“(Y/N)?”
The doctor glanced over.
“(Y/N)?!”
He slammed his hand into a button to send the TARDIS into flight and ran back over, taking your face between his hands.
“No, no, no, no, (Y/N)?! Hey! Hey look at me!”
He picked you up, running you through the hallways, finding any suitable room he could set you down in and he came across his room first.
He quickly and carefully laid you down on the bed, throwing things out of his wardrobe until he found whatever he could to help you.
Covering your chest with his quilt he tore you shirt, so he could get better access to your side.
The wound wasn’t deep, but it was big, and still bleeding.
The had the TARDIS scan your heartbeat and use the audio system to let him listen to it, making sure that it sounded normal.
Placing a bandage on your side, the doctor was carefully when it came to covering you back up, and he grabbed a bowl and a cloth, cleaning the blood he had gotten on your face and the blood on your hands.
He didn’t even notice the blood on his hands, or on the floor, he was so focused on you.
Making sure to get every speck of blood from your skin.
The he just laid in the bed next to you, head on his arm, gaze solely fixated on you, running his thumb along your cheek, listening to the sound of your heartbeat throughout the room.
After a few hours of laying there he finally got up to clear the blood from everywhere else, shower, and change his clothes.
He ket the TARDIS in flight, that way nothing was able to get to you, and wherever he went in the TARDIS your heartbeat followed him.
It was almost soothing, hearing your heartbeat wherever he went, but he spent most of his time just laid next to you, watching you.
He kept a close log of everything, the healing rate of your wound, your heart rate every few hours, your temperature, whatever he deemed as important.
He eventually brought the TARDIS to a land a few days later, a quiet planet, away from everything and everyone where he could focus on you.
Finally you woke up while he was at the console, the TARDIS let him know that you were awake and he ran straight to the room.
He came to a near crashing halt in front of the door, stumbling through it as he looked at you.
“(Y/N)!”
He rushed over, scanning you with his screwdriver, looking at the results, then back to you.
“Are you okay? Are you in any pain? Do you need anything?”
He kept rambling questions to you, and you reached up, placing your hand on his arm, getting his attention and he quickly stopped.
“I… water…”
“That I can do!” He grinned.
He ran out of the room again, coming back a few minutes later with a bottle of water.
The doctor set it on the floor, and he opened it, then placed his hand on the back of your head to lift it up, helping you take a drink.
He set your head back down, putting the lid back on the bottle before turning to you, kneeling next to the bed and resting his arms on it.
“How’re you feeling?” He asked gently.
“I’m okay…”
He nodded his head.
“I’m so sorry I.. I never thought… I didn’t…”
You smiled, reaching your hand out you placed it on his head, running your fingers down to the side of his face.
“It’s okay… it’s not your fault…”
“I should have never taken you there (Y/N), never. You got hurt because of me.”
You moved your hand, lightly flicking his forehead which made him frown, rubbing the sore spot.
“I got hurt because I touched something I shouldn’t have… that’s not your fault doctor…”
He sighed a little bit, resting his chin on his arms.
“I’ll take you back home when you’re better.”
“You better not or I’ll kick your ass.”
He laughed a little bit, smiling softly up at you, and you placed your hand on the side of his face, running your thumb along his cheek.
“Do you want anything to eat?”
You thought for a moment.
“Not yet, I’m kind of tired, but then can we have chips?”
“We can have whatever you want.”
The doctor would bring you food and drinks to your bed, he refused to let you get up for the first few days, he changed your bandage regularly and helped you up if you absolutely needed to get up.
After the first few days you could sit up, you couldn’t walk far on your own, and you couldn’t stretch because you’d pull at your wound.
You were sleeping with your head on his chest, he was running a hand up and down your arm.
“I’m hungry…”
“You’re always hungry. What do you want?”
You turned your head to look up at him.
“Can we get burgers?”
“We sure can.”
He kissed your forehead and gently moved you aside so he could head to the console, and you yawned.
Getting up you grabbed a discarded jumper of his, pulling it over your head, slowly walking over to console.
You took the steps one at a time, hand on your side as if that was going to help the pressure.
“Hey, hey you shouldn’t be walking when the TARDIS is moving.”
He walked over, holding his hands out to you, and you took them, letting him help you down the rest of the steps, and he sat you down.
“It’s dangerous and you could get hurt.”
“Everything is dangerous.”
“I know, but you’re already hurt, I don’t want to make it worse.”
The doctor waited until the TARDIS had fully stopped, then he walked over to you, holding out his hand with a bright smile.
You smiled back softly at him.
“Now, let’s go get you a burger.”
You placed your hand in his, letting him lace his fingers with yours as you guys left the TARDIS.
He gestured to the whole area around you both.
“Pick wherever you’d like.”
The doctor kept a watchful eye on you as you looked around, slowly wondering around, looking for somewhere to eat.
You finally found a McDonald’s and you decided to go there, so the doctor sat you down at a table, and he listened as you told him exactly what you wanted.
You were softly kicking your feet back and forth, head resting on your arms as you waited for him to come back.
You were watching him stand in line, and when he glanced over at you you smiled at him which resulted in him smiling back at you.
He brought the food over, you ate, and decided you wanted to go for a walk, which the doctor agreed to under the strict condition that you two didn’t go to far from the TARDIS.
You happily agreed to this, just content with your hand in his, slowly walking around just taking to him about everything.
Eventually the pain in your side came back, and you stopped walking, placing your hand on his chest to stop him.
“Hey, hey what’s wrong?” He whispered.
“It’s my side…”
He nodded his head, and crouched down in front of you, letting you climb onto his back and he stood up again.
“So what should we do? Carry on? Or go back?”
“We should go back, you can’t carry me all night. I’m sure you don’t want that.”
“Oi! Who says I can’t and don’t want to?” He huffed.
You laughed softly, resting your chin on his shoulder.
The doctor tilted his head to the side, resting it on yours.
“You can’t seriously carry me all night.”
“Is that a challenge? I’ll do it, I’ll never let your feet touch the ground again.”
You laughed, and he grinned a little bit.
“Come on, where do you want to go?”
“I don’t care, as long as you’re here it’s alright by me.” You said softly.
“Why’s that?” He asked.
You hummed a little and shrugged.
“Because I like you.”
“Course you do! What’s not to like?” He grinned.
You smiled at him, turning your head so you could kiss his cheek and you went back to whatever where ever he was going.
“Thanks for taking care of me…”
“I’ll always take care of you sweetheart, always, above all else you are my first priority.”
“Really?”
“Of course! I’d be pretty lost without you (Y/N).”
You laughed a little bit, wiggling slightly to let him know that you wanted to be put down, so he carefully set you down.
You walked around him, taking his hands in yours.
“My beautiful, amazing, (Y/N)…” he whispered.
He freed one of his hands, placing it on the side of your face, and you leant into his touch.
“I will always be there to save you… no matter where we are… I’ll always come and find you…”
You smiled.
“I know you will…”
The doctor studied you for a moment, the light in your eyes, the smile on your face, the way your hand fit in his so perfectly.
He remembered everything else as well, the fact you always hugged him, you always kissed his cheek if you were going away somewhere without him.
You looked at him and you just admired him, you looked at him for who he was, you knew him.
“I love you.” He whispered.
You stared at him in shock.
“What?”
A grin slowly spread across his face.
“I love you. I love you!”
You laughed, throwing your arms around his neck, hugging him tightly and he held you gently.
“I love you too…”
The doctor twirled you both around, then he set you back on the ground, quickly leaning down so he could capture you in a kiss.
A kiss that neither of you would admit that you had both been thinking about for a long, long time

M!Reader: "Are you... flirting with me?"
9th: "Gods no! What on earth gave you that idea?"
M!Reader: "I mean... Have you heard yourself talk?"
Flirting?
9th Doctor x Male Reader
It's so hard to find good GIFs of the 9th doctor.
Tumblr media
The air on Platform One hummed with a mixture of excitement and anxiety as the Ninth Doctor led you to the observation deck. The grand event was about to unfold—the end of the Earth, a spectacle for the elite from across the universe.
The Doctor, in his brown leather jacket and timeless charm, couldn't help himself from explaining the intricacies of the impending cataclysm. "You see, my friend, it's not every day you witness the end of a planet. Well, for me, it's practically every other Tuesday, but for you, it's a unique experience!"
You chuckled nervously, feeling a mix of awe and unease. "Unique is one word for it. Are you sure we're not in any danger here?"
The Doctor shot you a reassuring grin. "Oh, absolutely! Platform One is perfectly safe. It's the best seat in the house, and I made sure to reserve it just for us."
As the two of you reached the observation deck, the enormity of the scene unfolded before your eyes. The sun loomed larger in the viewport, casting an eerie glow over the gathered alien dignitaries. The rich and powerful from various galaxies chatted and sipped their exotic beverages, ready to watch the impending demise of your home.
The Doctor gestured dramatically towards the Earth, his eyes shining with a peculiar mix of sadness and fascination. "There it is, my friend! The cradle of humanity, about to be engulfed in the fiery embrace of its own star. Quite poetic, isn't it?"
You nodded, trying to process the gravity of the moment. "Poetic and terrifying. But why are they treating it like a party?"
The Doctor chuckled, his eyes never leaving yours for long. "Well, when you're as rich and powerful as these folks, you tend to find joy in the strangest places. It's a universal quirk, really."
As the first signs of the sun's expansion became visible, you couldn't help but feel a shiver run down your spine. The Doctor, however, seemed unfazed, his attention seemingly divided between the cosmic spectacle and your reactions.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" he mused, his voice carrying a hint of melancholy.
You couldn't tear your eyes away from the impending apocalypse. "Yeah, in a terrifying, apocalyptic kind of way."
The Doctor's gaze shifted to you, and he flashed a grin. "Ah, but you've got me by your side. What could be better than that?"
You raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk forming on your lips. "Are you... flirting with me?"
The Doctor's eyes widened, and he sputtered, "Gods no! What on earth gave you that idea?"
You tilted your head, studying him. "I mean... Have you heard yourself talk? It's all mysterious and intense. Feels like you're trying to impress someone."
The Doctor scratched the back of his head, a sheepish grin playing on his lips. "Well, I suppose I do have a tendency to get carried away with the grandeur of it all. But trust me, it's just the excitement of the moment. No flirting involved."
You chuckled, shaking your head. "If you say so, Doctor."
As the sun expanded, swallowing the Earth in its fiery glow, you couldn't deny the surreal beauty of the moment. And even as the Doctor continued his rambling explanations, you found yourself grateful for the peculiar company you kept in the face of the Earth's grandeur and destruction.

Old Wounds
The Ninth Doctor x Reader
Word Count: 610
God, you were done with him. He didn’t trust you to look after yourself, even to see your own family. You had traveled across time and space with him but returning to your home was a no go. Last time, it hadn’t gone well but you missed them. You were sitting away from him in the Tardis, he was choosing where you would go next. Running around the controls, with a big goofy smile on his face. When you first joined him on this adventure, he would let you choose where you should go. Or at least give you a choice. But now it’s the Doctor’s choice and only his, well not actually but it sure felt like it. He must’ve noticed that you were stropping, choosing to ignore you. Asshole.
“I think I’ve found our next destination.” He said excitedly. You didn’t turn around. “C’mon, you’re not still pouting are you?”
“I am actually.” You looked at him and his smile left his face. You were mad, and he knew it. Not stropping or pouting, angry.
“What’s wrong?”
“Seriously?”
“What?”
You groaned, he did this all the time, acting like he didn’t know. “Fine, let’s go to your mystery place.” The doctor turned towards the controls before pressing the button, looking at you again. Your face hadn’t changed. He shook his head, you rarely got angry, always happy to go with him anywhere. Just yesterday you were laughing and talking about the planet you went to last week. Now, you had put a distance between the two of you, and it made him uncomfortable. It wasn’t the first time this had happened. He tried not to get too attracted to his companions but you were different. You had reinvigorated his drive in his life.
“No. Not until you tell me what’s wrong?” He folded his arms over his chest, his lips drawing in a hard line.
“You’ve got to be kidding me. You seriously don’t know?”
“No. I have no idea. Clue me in.”
“We talked about it yesterday! Why are you doing this?” You stood up, looking at him, he looked confused. He looked at the floor, blinking. “You can’t remember?”
“I don’t…”
“I want to see my family for once, I want to see my home. But now you choose where we go, what we do. I just go along with it.”
The Doctor looked ashamed, he does remember that now, he hadn’t taken it seriously. Last time you had gone home, it was a catastrophe, many died due to an alien invasion and it had been detrimental to Earth. After this, you were terrified, blaming yourself for bringing that back with you. The Doctor had tried to calm you but you were inconsolable for days, you’d barely leave the Tardis. Sometimes you still cry out in your sleep. He couldn’t take you back there, not when you had hurt so much from the last time.
“I was worried that you would open old wounds.” He looked into your eyes, they were sad now. “The last time we went…”
“I know.” You sat down again, in defeat, “I know.”
He came across to you, sat beside you. You had a few tears running down your face. He wrapped his arm around you, pulling you into his chest. The Doctor wasn’t sure what else to do but apologize.
“I’m sorry.” He said, you looked up at him. His eyes met yours. He leaned down, giving you a gentle kiss. It was warm and soft, his hand rising to your cheek. He pulled away, wiping your tears with his thumb. You smile softly, letting him know, you forgive him.

Not Again (9th Doctor x reader)
Summary: just once again, he didn't want to lose anyone. Unfortunately, things never work out how he wanted
Jack and Rose had warned you that this might happen. That sometimes the Doctor got too into his own head, especially when he was remembering The Time War, not that they knew too much about that. The Doctor never spoke about it but it was clear whenever he was thinking about it. Unfortunately, those days were getting more and more frequent.
You paused outside the Doctor’s room, not sure if you should be doing this. The last adventure hadn’t ended well. Too many deaths. Even one death was many but this time, well, it wasn’t pleasant. As soon as the four of you got back to the TARDIS the Doctor went straight to his room. You tried to follow him but Jack stopped you.
“Give him space,” he advised, “when he’s like this, space is for the best.”
Yet you had the feeling that wasn’t the case. You took a deep breath before finally making up your mind and knocking on the door. There was a pause and for a moment you weren’t sure if the Doctor had heard you or was just ignoring you. You could hear him moving about so you knew he wasn’t asleep.
“Who is it.” he said eventually
“Me.”
Another pause.
“Why are you here.”
“I wanted to check up on you. You left the console room in rather a hurry. I just… I just wanted to make sure you were ok.”
Silence followed. You grimaced and pressed your head against the wood of the door before pushing off and heading away. Jack was right, it was best to leave him alone. You froze when you heard the door open. It was only a crack but you seized it and slowly walked in.
You didn’t know what you were expecting from the Doctor’s room but this wasn’t it. It was cosy and you felt a sense of home as soon as you stepped through the doorway. The Doctor had moved away from the door and you leant against it. For a second neither of you spoke until the Doctor eventually said,
“Why did you come here?”
“I told you- I was concerned.”
“Right.”
“It’s true.”
Another heavy pause. This time you slowly made your way over to him.
“Everything was going so well,” the Doctor said, “and once more, just once more, I didn’t want anyone to die. And yet-”
His voice cracked and he cut himself off. You gave him a pained look and put your hand on his shoulder. He tensed under you but didn’t shrug you off which you took as a good sign.
“It’s not your fault,” you said, “you did everything you could.”
“It wasn’t enough.”
You turned him around and wrapped your arms around him. He pressed his head against your shoulder and you didn’t comment on the dampness that was now seeping into your shirt. You rubbed his back and said,
“It’s not your fault.”

what having sex with the doctors would be like:
nine: really intense and deeply emotional, but also quiet. fully focused on giving you pleasure. when you ask him what he wants he says he doesn't deserve anything and it's enough just to satisfy you.
ten: you WILL find out what that tongue can do. he's really enthusiastic (oh yes!) but he cries afterwards and talks about how much he misses rose
eleven: like those cartoon fights where it's limbs poking out of a dust cloud. also a bit giggly. wants to try all sorts of alien aphrodisiacs.
twelve: really intense. fully focused on giving you pleasure, but with handcuffs. will take you on a really romantic date first.
thirteen: she likes to cuddle afterwards. probably makes an awkward joke or two. wants to build you a vibrator as a present.
fourteen: super affectionate and gives lots of praise. says I love you when he cums.
