Abilities:

Lightning/Electricity Manipulation:

As the Master of Lightning, The Lone Performer has dominion over the power of Lightning.

Electrokinesis:

As seen with the Realm of Madness, The Lone Performer can manipulate the electricity of Technology to his command, possibly even manipulating the code within the Tech. Though being able to power and control an entire realm might be draining no matter how much of a power boost or how much training one might have. [Must have something to do with the giant mech behind the main stage] This can range to him being able to control robots and technological weapons to straight up manipulating AIs. Might be one of the reasons The False Prophet hasn’t moved from his area despite the Cloud Kingdom literally being a moving Realm.

Projection:

Despite the uncanny realism The Lone Performer’s form on-stage is a hologram similar to how my Photac designs were made with hard light. [Though the hologram seems to be made of a different type of hard light? Or am I just imagining it?] unlike the Photac projections the Lone Performer seems to simulate the very consciousness of Jay, to an uncanny degree. Almost as if it was an actual projection of him. [Maybe it is] Smaller versions of this ‘holographic self’ acts like a standard AI trapped in screens. Usually for advertisements and news reports and… [Who am I kidding he practically took over the whole Realm]

Psychic Electricity Manipulation:

[Personally I call this ‘Cognitive Electricity Manipulation’ but there was some disagreements with the name.] The Lone Performer has the ability to manipulate electricity through the brain, though from what I could gather he only does it to people on small amounts mostly to perform a memory wipe or alteration. Effects of this can be permanent from what I could gather…it’s really not recommended to alter the brain really…[To think he learned this himself though…that should mean he knows which neurons to target? If so I didn’t take Jay for a neurologist…Unless the Administration had access to knowledge of the brain…which could explain his previous memory loss.]

This also explains how he’s able to keep track of everyone who’s within the Realm of Madness… [Implying something is powering him because doing that with an entire Realm is exhausting, this guy has to have some limits.]

Nerve Manipulation:

[Wyldefyre called this one ‘Nerve Damage’ I think it’s funny.] Along with being able to control the brain he can control people’s nerves. [Feeling that for the first time was awful] He also has the ability to cause the nerves to explode.

[See! Nerve Damage] Bit of a warning this type of manipulation is quite painful to feel…unless of course you’re The Lone Performer himself. According to [REDACTED] Jay had high pain tolerance to the point he was able to control his own nerves…though he did imply he doesn’t know when he had learned that ability.

Heart Stop:

Can stop the nerves within the heart or the electricity flowing through it. [Cool] [Wyldefyre that could kill you]

Motive: ??? [Possible: Preservation, Control and Forced Compliance]

The Lone Performer has direct ties with The Emperor, possibly he’s following under his orders…though I find it odd…he doesn’t seem like the type to follow orders like that under normal circumstances…

Location: Realm of Madness.

Status: The Lone Performer continues his act. However one look into those manic eyes tells you he doesn’t particularly enjoy it.

Caution: Do not under any circumstances trespass into his lands. The Lone Performer has direct communication with The Emperor and must not be provoked. A Mini-Pix has already been stationed to observe the city, there is no need to intervene any further. DO NOT ENGAGE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

OOC: I’ve changed the Zane files to match the liveliness of this file. Since the main characters are Sora, Arin and Wyldfyre.

Hey there! Got another question about your Apocalypse AU! So you talked about how Lloyd ended up with the Ninja. Now that leaves me asking, when and how did they win him over? How did he learn to trust them and become close? Thank you for answering my questions! Your art and your AU are super cool!

after chatting about this w @shadesofvermillionvoid for a while we came to something

we dont think that theres like.. an exact moment something in him clicks and he gets won over by the main group. it kind of happens as he stays with them.

so his powers are being blocked out, which means hes really weak, even having some trouble walking. the group always has someone watching him, he was their number one enemy after all, but he has no real way to attack or escape.

he slowly starts feeling.. safe? around kai and zane, who are nothing but nice to him despite everything. and help him get a different view on some of the things he doesn't understand.. like family. like why harumi would betray him, like how his life is nothing close to normality... and so on

he's still acting all snarky and evil around them, but those walls hes been putting up kind of crumble as he realizes that these people are different from anything he's ever seen

the others slowly warm up to him too, but kai and zane kind of guide them to it too. kai because.. he relates to lloyd/gb quite a lot. the 'green bandit' is what he could've become if he'd never turned good, an exagerrated version of kai. and zane because he's been undercover into the bandit's gang, he's seen his lows and his highs like no-one else has(if you dont count harumi). he knows this is someone with a troubled past and someone who is disconnected from reality. and he wants to help as much as he can, because lloyd is still just a kid, he has the chance to turn things around, despite everything he's done. just like kai.

(and.. kai feels bad for unnowingly using lloyd's power as a battery and performance enhancer when he was a villain..ill talk about that more in another post if anyone is interested hopefully)

so yeah, it's not a huge dramatic moment, it's something more gradual. we had some fun ideas of zane teaching lloyd how to cook and kai giving him some pen and paper to draw on.. just to let out his feelings into a less 'violent outburst'-y way.

still, lloyd has a complicated relationship with emotions.. keep in mind that he's still gb, the 'green bandit' at this point. he doesn't even remember his own real name. they all just call him "gb", although kai and zane know his name is lloyd.

gb's emotional walls may be being torn down slowly, but he's also got a record of being an exceptionally good liar. so, in the main group's eyes, they never really know if he trusts them or not until the final battle, where he makes a sacrifice to save them and the rest of ninjago.

and after that... well it's only uphill from there!

Villain Apocalypse AU files.

Subject: Zane Julien The False Prophet.

Mental State: Unstable

Power Level: Apocalyptic

Danger Level: High

Abilities:

Ice Manipulation:

As the Master of Ice, The False Prophet contains dominion over the Power of Ice.

Future Vision/Foresight:

Uses the Ice Walls and makeshift Ice slabs to allow him to see into the Future [Or at least we think he can see into the Future] He can also use the Slabs to locate certain people. Cole once told us that he used to be able to do this when he was the Ice Emperor [Minus the Future Vision]

Puppetry:

Once a person or Living thing is frozen under his Ice he can manipulate the Ice to puppeteer the Frozen Being. [Haven’t seen this one yet] [His motivation is ‘Preservation’ so he could’ve done it to keep them safe] [But he’s attacking us NEAR them.]

Ice Animation:

Any Ice Sculpture or Being made of Ice can be animated to his will. [Apparently he was able to use this with a dragon when he was the Ice Emperor]

Bird’s Eye View:

Creates a Bird, usually a Falcon and uses it as his eyes…this Falcon usually hangs around the Cloud Kingdom so we can’t sneak in… [Unless we have me!] [The False Prophet won’t attack when Wyldefyre is near, likely because of her abilities as the Master of Heat]

Snowstorm Manipulation:

Converts a whole area into a Winter Wonderland…we’re just glad he doesn’t have The Staff of Forbidden Spinjitsu.

-Zane The False Prophet also has his Robotic Capabilities, making him able to see Heat Signatures. And possibly other things.

Motive: Preservation

Has taken his ‘Protect those who cannot protect themselves’ goal a bit too far. He seeks to Preserve life so they could not endanger each other nor themselves. And that is to keep them Frozen in Time so that all Life is Preserved.

Location: Cloud Kingdom.

Status: Unknown

Caution: Must not engage. Unless we have Wyldfyre to enter the area The False Prophet will attack intruders.

Inspired by Cookie Run Kingdom and all the Ninjago Villain AUs.

I made a spin of a Ninjago Villain AU, in which the Ninja basically take over the world into a major apocalypse.

Though it’s never gonna be a fanfic, this is just for funsies.

I didn’t want to do a repetition of ‘Kai with Chen’s Staff’ or ‘Ice Emperor Zane’ so I decided to make my own spin of Evil Ninja.

Starting off with the least destructive. (At best he’s the least.)

Zane Julien-The False Prophet.

Was second-to-the last to fall from the grace of heroism and light. Zane was built to protect those who could not protect himself, but slowly his heart filled with dread and insanity as the world spiraled out of control from those he once called friends. Due to Lloyd’s early corruption, whatever force giving Lloyd visions has somehow transferred back to him, driving him to insanity with every terrifying nightmare and prophecy being shown to him. Eventually, the Ice Ninja turned, reciting false prophecies and freezing people as his own act of mercy.

The False Prophet believes that the preservation of lives is the only way they could survive, telling terrible futures that are either lies or truth to get you to lower your guard, and once your despair sinks in, he embraces you in the frost, clouding your vision in ice forevermore.

He only attacks those who seek his domain, taking over the Cloud Kingdom as a further extension of ‘Controlling Destiny’ none have entered his icy domain back alive.

So Ninja Villain Apocalypse AU…great.

This is gonna go in order to the least destructive to the most destructive. Zane only freezes people who enter or trespass into the Cloud Kingdom, as far as destructive goes, Zane won’t do harm as long as he is in the sky. (Kai is in the ground he can’t do jack shit)

The Cloud Kingdom still wanders aimlessly in the sky, all of its inhabitants either frozen or had abandoned the Kingdom after Zane took over. It’s now just a snowy wasteland.

I decided to emphasize Zane’s Future Vision powers (Since DR seems to be…ignoring that) since most of his evil versions just ‘give him no will’ they just play with the fact that he’s a robot. But I kinda don’t want to do that? So I decided that he just lost sanity.

Going to my Ninjago Villain Apocalypse AU, here’s some of the rankings in power for the Ninja.

•Nya,Lloyd,Cole.

All three tie because I wasn’t actually sure of how to rank them in power.

There’s Nya whose entire domain is the Ocean, and since the realms are merged that’s literally a vast majority of seas from other realms + Ninjago.

For Lloyd he has dominance over Life and Death at the moment, can create, can destroy. And is near-close to tapping into FSM’s true potential. Plus there’s that thing where he’s the Conduit and thus is receiving visions against his will.

There’s Cole who basically became the host of an entire realm. Or in this case, IS an entire realm. He’s the Host of the Preeminent so he’s basically the Cursed Realm Reincarnated.

These three also have sort of little areas for themselves. With Lloyd gaining a whole-ass cult, Cole creating an army of ghosts and Nya being revered as a Water goddess by the locals. So power-wise in both Powers and Influences on the Masses I’d say about a tie for all Three.

•Jay

He’s above Zane because he managed to take over the Realm of Madness not just the Administration. Due to the…uhm…very inconvenient way that almost the whole Administration is powered by Electricity the entire realm is now under his influence. Especially his supposed utopia. Now technically speaking he should be above Lloyd or even with the three on the same level power-scale wise, but he isn’t mainly because he works for Lloyd-

•Zane

This is self-explanatory, he’s below Jay cause he doesn’t have an army, but above Kai because he still took over an entire Realm technically speaking, and that’s the Cloud Kingdom. The only thing he doesn’t have is an army since his goal is to preserve Life, he can control the people he’s frozen but since he’s taken the messed up approach of ‘Protecting those who cannot protect themselves’ err yeah…also his Ice is much colder than normal almost cold enough to negate Kai’s Fire

•Kai

For obvious reasons he’s basically Lloyd’s right hand. Even if he’s the only one actively running through the Merged Realms he’s below the others because most of the time he isn’t doing anything by his own will and frankly speaking, there’s a part of Kai fighting Lloyd for control so that Lloyd doesn’t cause Kai to ignite the world in flames.

Kai Jiang-The Conquerer.

When the Green Ninja fell from grace, two ninjas came before him to reason with him. The Jiang Siblings attempted to seek reason with The Green One, but to no avail…

They assumed since The Green Ninja still has a twisted sense of care for them, that they were spared from his ideals, little did they know they were affected more than they realized.

Both The Siblings had one of their Negative Traits Amplified. For The Fire Ninja, The Green One played with his insecurities. As time and time again did he need to be protected instead of him doing the protecting.

He whispered in his mind, pushing his doubt, his weakness and his guilt, until finally he couldn’t ignore the temptation anymore.

The Fire One wanted nothing more than to be strong enough to defend himself and others, to overcome the other Ninja and surpass his limits at last. The Green One willingly gave him his wish…but at a price…

The Fire One’s power, once used to defend others against the dangers of the world, now used to destroy all that remains…if there was no world left, then there would be no more threats right? Hungry for more strength and power, The Fire One’s mind began to corrupt and twist in the name of Greed, destroying everything and setting the world ablaze.

Now sworn to protect The Green One, The Conqueror seeks all who dare try to pose a threat to the remaining family he has and those who dare oppose him in power? Shall suffer the wrath of the flames.

So yeah here’s Kai.

He’s more dangerous than Zane or Jay because Jay and Zane mostly stick to their domain, meanwhile Kai literally wanders the Earth.

He usually sticks to the remaining vehicles the Ninjas have left to hunt down those with power and those who dare to oppose Lloyd (His only source of power)

Yes he also is in cahoots with Lloyd, he doesn’t really have a choice here because Lloyd gives him enough strength to amplify his powers.

On the other hand, Lloyd also supplies him with special crystal that enhances his powers’ strengths everytime he burns someone/kills them.

I also took the liberty to put Kai’s hair down because I didn’t know how to make the helmet look right.

As for the inspiration for his villain design, most of Kai’s villain design stems from him getting Chen’s staff, however timeline-wise I decided that it didn’t really make sense for my AU since this is sort of an Apocalypse AU as well.

So I decided that Kai’s road to villainy comes from his insecurities amplified to the max, a voice in his head telling him that he keeps letting others sacrifice themselves cause his powers are ‘too weak’ compared to everyone else’s in an effort to become stronger, Kai becomes obsessive, and clings onto the only person who probably understands where he’s coming from (Lloyd) so yeah.

The Conquerer was a puppet on strings, blindly following the Emperor’s commands…it seems ironic that he was given the title ‘conqueror’ when he can barely overcome the Emperor’s power.

The Merged lands are slowly becoming the Emperor’s lands…so that none can stand in the way of his power, not even the great evils will dare try to conquer them…

Maybe that is The Conqueror’s role…to get to the lands before the Emperor’s Servants do…to claim it before the others do.

For the ninjago apocalypse au, what made Kai become a hero?

well!! good question its when he realizes he's enjoying being a villain. when he realizes he's started liking acting the way he does and doing what he does. he kind of steps back, and realizes that the reason he turned to crime in the first place was so he could simply live. (he's an orphan in this au too, except this time there was no nya for him to take care of and the world was a lot rougher on him, because he grew up in the undercity. so, he turned to crime.) so when he realizes all that, he also realizes that he's older now, and he could have a better chance, so he starts looking for some jobs in his civilian life. that's actually how wu finds him, and offers him a job in his teashop (which, kai finds it so weird that a robot would have a tea shop. they dont??? drink??? but he doesnt question wu's love for tea. ) he earns enough money with wu's help to actually get an apartment in the new city up above, and life starts feeling a little less bleak. the other reason.. is... well its nya, of course! nya in this au (as ive mentioned) is a little spec of the ocean (i guess shes kind of a godess if you think about it real hard? though she still acts a little younger than kai) that decided to go see what life on land was all about! cause shes bored! so one night, nya's exploring the undercity, and kai was just kind of patrolling around, he's kind of in the middle at this point, doing some small crimes but also stopping others. and he hears some commotion coming from an alleyway, he decides to check it out and sees this weird looking glowy person getting mugged. he decides to help her out and she makes some comment about how she couldve handled herself. but kai kind of just dips without a word. nya, being nya, gets curious about this guy she encountered back there. and decides to follow him around for a while. until she reaches wu's teashop. she asks wu about him and she gets to actually meet him wu realizes she doesnt have an actual home, she's just been roaming around, and then kai lets her live with him. they start getting really close and acting like the siblings you know and love! and thats the thing that mostly pushes him from villain to hero. having like a seemingly younger sibling figure for him to care for and make him want to improve himself makes him feel whole! he's a caretaker, and his fire is made to protect, not to hurt.. (oh and, as for the others, we havent yet fully decided how the others join the team, though i have been thinking about jay and cole a little, zane i have no idea just yet but we'll say it if it comes to us!) Evil Kai au talk

This is a rant about evil Kai aus. I don’t know if rant is the right word because it’s mostly me talking about evil Kai aus without the complaining part of the rant? I’m really tired, so bare with me.

warning: I do talk about emotional manipulation.

There are a lot of evil Kai aus. Hell, I have five. But what is it about them? What is it about a villain Kai? Is it the seriousness and ruthlessness or is it the way he becomes a maniac. The times he becomes mind controlled, the times he becomes a monster with no memory. So many of them are amazing. Inspiring even. But what is an evil Kai au?

As many fans of Ninjago know, Evil Kai aus are aus where Kai becomes the villain. There are many interpretations to this. 

The ones Kai gets overcome by the need to become the green ninja.

The ones where Kai gets mind controlled by the staff of elements.

The ones where Kai loses his memories and becomes evil.

The ones where Kai gets possessed.

And many more.

Since I didn’t ask anyone to use their evil Kai aus as examples for this, I will use my own. Be noted though, now of my evil Kai aus have the interest of being the green ninja.

We will start with my first evil Kai au. Title 7.

In this au, Kai only becomes a villain because he was kidnapped by Garmadon, and raised by Clouse and Chen. Kai was influenced to become a villain due to his environment. He was taught how to be a villain. Due to this, he got ride of Wu before he could even recruit the other main guys. Kai got the weapons and brought Garmadon back. Kai started an apocalypse, and made everyone fear that using elemental powers will make you evil. He knows about the green ninja prophecy, but he didn’t care. There was no sign of green ninja coming to fight Garmadon. 

In this universe, Kai is seen as a maniac who doesn’t care about what happens to others.

In another universe, there is Kai & Addanc.

Addanc is an evil spirit who once knew Wu. Addanc use to be a kind man, but after a misunderstanding from Wu, Addanc changed. He vowed he would one day come back and haunt Wu for what he has done. Of course, the promise was fulfilled. Addanc came back and possessed Kai. In my eyes, he would be the worst one. Addanc can manipulate emotions with just a single word. He uses words to take down the ninjas. The one he mostly leaves alone is Zane. Before Addanc came, Zane and Kai were in a relationship, and Kai got possessed on the wedding day. Addanc understands the lost of a love, so he tries to keep Zane out of it.

Of course, I know it’s bad, so I won’t bother the subject anymore from now on.

The next universe, Red Snake.

Kai was the one who got left behind instead of Lloyd during the King of Snakes. Kai hopes his sister would come for her. Then he learned she is Samurai X, and is stuck on the thought she abandoned him on purpose. He became a serpentine because he felt like he had no family. He gives up on the title of the Green Ninja. He becomes serious and ruthless, not caring about the others since he only known them for a couple of months.

The second to last universe is the Haunted universe.

Haunted is Kai becoming a monster with no memories. He goes on rampages and destroys towns. The villain who did this, didn’t plan very well. Kai was stuck as a rampaging monster with no memory. There isn’t much to say but... it’s almost the same.

In almost every evil Kai universe, Kai is seen in two ways. Ruthless and serious or Crazy and lost his mind. Yet, from my time here, I’ve just notice something. This was pointed out to me, and I’ve realized “It’s kind of true.”

With all of these aus, there is one trope I’ve haven’t seen on here from my time here. And that is the trope is wholesome villain. I’m not saying it doesn’t exist, I’ve never seen any aus like that. Well, except for my Megamind Kai au.

For those who don’t know what Megamind is, Megamind is a movie about a blue alien who is a villain. He has a nemesis, a hero, that became “Dead”. Megamind takes over the city, but soon finds out he has no purpose. He creates a hero, but Megamind ends up being the hero by the end of the day.

Why would I take inspiration from a movie where the villain becomes the hero? It’s because of Megamind traits. A comic inspired me to do this. Kai seemed like a perfect fit.

Megamind Kai is a big goofball but also still kind-heart. The way he acts as a villain... it’s different from what I’ve seen.

Kai lost his memories and was convinced he was evil. He wasn’t told how to act as a villain. So he became a villain in his own way. He had Echo, who Kai could have so much horrible things, but he treated Echo like a brother. Kai doesn’t remember Nya and hasn’t met the others. But to him, they were just the heroes. He already accepted that he’s gonna get his butt kicked but continued because he doesn’t have anything else to do. He kidnapped Nya and Skylar during his career, but that was the bad guy thing. He didn’t mean anything personal, in fact he made sure they were at least comfortable while the ninjas came. He was a tea maker, and he tested them out on himself. He can make fire creatures, but he just makes litter of puppies and don’t expect them to do anything for him.

Kai would never actually hurt anyone. If he did, he made sure they were alright. He would help kids who got lost and take them home. If the weather was too bad, he would take the kids home and treat them with kindness. Hell, he tackled Skales when he almost hit Lloyd when he was a kid. 

Despite all of this, he stills doubts himself. He has times where he gets nervous around large crowds. He doesn’t like he becomes an oni every full moon and stays that way for three days. But he still goes on being the villain Ninjago knows. Echo is there to help Kai. Even if Kai is a villain, he still has some of his personality. But he picked up new things. Inventing, making tea, plotting how to defeat the ninjas, and all the other villainy stuff.

It feels strange. I wonder if I’m the only one. But to imagine Kai being a wholesome villain, it sounds nice. Hell, if he met any of his counter parts, they would ask how the hell he even is a villain. (Which will lead him to getting defensive about his villain title.)

Though, in my perspective, the one thing every evil Kai au has in common is that there is always one small piece of him left.
