Ah, Miss Demeanor: a masterclass in how to give a minor side antagonist the energy of a major antagonist. One of these days I need to sit down and see how much screen time she actually has - can't be more than ten minutes, right? No matter how much time we've spent with her, she's made every single minute count.

Like the KPS, this is a pretty faithful adaptation of the original. I don't have an image of the original that isn't deep-fried to hell and back, so use your imagination. Miss Demeanor is one of those characters that, sadly, isn't around enough to warrant the same deep symbolic work as my other designs (if you miss that level of insanity, don't worry! I've got more on the way), so the design philosophy here was just Rule Of Cool. If it looked cool, it stayed. Honestly, this one was a nice break! There's nothing quite like thigh-high leather boots and a giant sculptural flame train to get me back in the fashion groove.

Look, it's got mesh gloves, one mesh sock, one mesh armband, and fire sunglasses. There's something very Guy Fieri about this, which I appreciate. Is it a deep piece? No, but it's a fun one, and I was kinda busy diverting my brainpower to my annual Nya Skybound fic work, so cut me some slack.

I fucking LOVE Crystalized, and I just finished rewatching it. My time to shine !!

1) Lloyd's anger at his dad, his overall emotional nature, is a realistic depiction of a traumatised teen. I seriously don't understand people who hate him in that season he's just a baby who needs a Dad Hug

2) Survival shipping is pretty much entirely based on this season, and I just so happen to adore Survival shipping

3) Harumi doing the right thing in the end, but for selfish reasons, not because of an out-of-the-blue heel turn. I liked that she stayed selfish till the end (she's a fantastic villain and I don't think Crystalized changes that)

4) The fight between Zane and Mister F may be short, but it is beautifully choreographed, and so tense. Great emotional payoff, calling all the way back to their confrontation in Sons of Garmadon (Mister F and Mister E are the same character and absolutely nothing will change my mind)

5) That dumpster scene was SO fruity. Lava gives me life ❤️🧡🖤🧡

6) It's also the only scene in the show depicting concussion symptoms. Better late than never I guess

7) SALLY !!!!! SHE'S SUCH A BABY !!!! SHE ! HAS ! ZERO !!!!! EMOTIONAL ! REGULATION ! And she's queer. She's perfect in every way and I adore her. She activates my "protect trans kids" instincts

8) The ninja being criminals 🖤🖤🖤🖤 (Remember kids, breaking the law is cool and good. 👏Commit👏Crimes👏Today👏)

9) I know a lot of people don't like the aftermath of Nya's transformation, but personally I love seeing the different ways the team handles grief. It hurts so good.

It also felt in line with previous depictions of how they handle stress, while honoring the character growth they had throughout the show (I'm mostly thinking of Kai when I say that)

10) I adore Nyad and the advices she gives Nya. Nya remembering who she is felt so melancholic and soft

11) Miss Demeanor. Her name's a pun and she sets shit on fire, how could I not love her ???

12) It's a visually pleasing season. The entire season is bi-colored. The crystals are pretty. I like looking at it. I like drawing fanarts of it. It's pretty !!!

13) Fugidove and the intense autistic homoeroticism he brings everywhere with him
