Lol wow I’m sensing angst from that post about Clouse not being a ‘favorite’ lol damn

Yeah it’s messed up really.

Garmadon’s been around over a thousand years, practically making him older than any of the flings we know of so he probably knows what he likes.

Like his Oni part of consciousness, he likes the power any of his flings/mates hold. He doesn’t mind the strength and fight that happens. Just means stronger young for Oni or a fight for dominance over others.

And the dragon part of the brain would mean he didn’t mind the multiple partners thing, if dragons thought more like real life lizards instead of birds. Basically just a come and go in order to not die out. Also dragons would probably find someone more fitting for the lifelong mate thing anyway if any hatchlings were strong out of that one and only the one. (So basically when Garm split from Misako after so long, it messed him up bad and Krux had to make sure he didn’t do anything... drastic.)

What he does mind however, is the fact that Clouse was absolutely pissed at him for taking Chen’s attention away from him with so much ease. And Clouse had to work for that attention for the longest time. That’s honestly one of the reasons why Clouse didn’t like the Master of Amber either. Even though she didn’t become Chen’s wife in my canon, she still managed to get him away for a while.

The whole ‘Lord’ title tore apart what could’ve happened. Arguments were thrown back and forth until they became physical. A few times, they were shoving each other around. Sometimes, they left with cuts and bruises. Other times, there was a broken bone or something fractured, if not any furniture or equipment broken. It was a constant fight for dominance, if not at times for survival. (That’s not exactly healthy if a relationship somehow came out of that.)

It got worse after Clouse threw him off completely one time and Garm just wasn’t having it anymore and his monster form almost straight up broke him, if it weren’t for Clouse using magic at the second to last moment.

Garmadon leaves after that and when Clouse saw that Garm just jumped from him to Krux, seeing how far Krux was falling apart and becoming pretty boy putty in Garmadon’s hands, oh ho ho! He was absolutely all for hurting them from the inside out. (Clouse: Alright Garm.. You wanna play around like that? Fine. Let’s fucking play.)

Years later, Clouse already grew back closer to Chen, refusing to leave him, because at least Chen didn’t bounce around between people as Garm did back then and he was actually there to talk him through a lot and they’d at least comfort one another where Garm wouldn’t.

Edit: The tension between them wasn’t old affections, because that wasn’t there to begin with. It was remembering what they both did to one another. Garmadon was guilty for quite a bit mostly about losing his mind to his destructive Oni half right on him before they separated and he still was guilty afterwards. Meanwhile Clouse hadn’t let go of the hate for him that he brewed inside and still had the scars to prove it.

Chen thought it differently and got it confused for a short while before hearing Clouse insist on not leaving them alone together. (“Master.. please don’t do that again... don’t leave me alone with him..” “... Alright. If you didn’t like it, then I won’t.” “...You promise, Master?” “Clousey, I may be a villain but I at least take care of my followers first before anyone else.. especially you, my mage man.” “.. Even though you’re trying to favor that other Elemental Master?” “Pshh.. They come and go, this is just a phase for me, but hey, at least you stayed. Isn’t that something, Clousey?” “.. Yeah.. it is..”)

Basically as I said in another ask, Clouse is what Krux could’ve been if Garm had no care for him either and if Krux didn’t catch feelings for him in the middle of it all.

How is Garmadon with rest of his exes? I know with Ray they're cool with each other and with Krux some bitterness and some lingering feelings there, but what about Chen and Clouse. With Chen, I don't think he would really care and probably thinks that Garmadon was the one who missed out. With Clouse, I think that he would be embarrassed(?) that it would be brought up and just think that it was poor taste on his part.

Yeah, Ray and him are friends by now and they were fine with moving on.

Krux of course is still upset but also still trying not to fall back to him.

Chen? Oh boy. Quite a scandal. Not exactly much of a relationship. It was more like this. “See Garmadon. I don’t mind if you and Clousey have play dates, but just know whatever is his is also mine too. And vice versa. We agreed on that a while before you came around... So if you’re his, then you’re mine too. It’s simple.” Maybe a codependency. And yeah he would be the type to think Garmadon’s the one that missed out.

Now Clouse? Yeah, to him, it’s embarrassing. He was actually bitter that Garmadon came in and just took Chen’s attention away from him so easily after he worked so hard under him for so long. He was always fighting him and somehow somewhere along the way there was hate sex and Clouse accidentally found out about Garm’s feral Dragon-Oni tendencies and well... it didn’t end too well.

The two just carried so much tension in the Tournament of Elements Chen could’ve cut through it. (Even though Chen didn’t appreciate Garmadon almost breaking his mage man and he wasn’t looking for a repeat, despite trying to set them up a few times. Chen only stopped when Clouse said to.)

Even during season 4, Garmadon’s wondering “why the hell did you stay with Chen? You knew he was crazy.” And Clouse just retaliates “I know but at least he isn’t crazy enough to jump partners and in between relationships. You’d know all about that.”

Clouse is quite possibly what Krux would’ve been had he not caught feelings for him in the middle of it all and not even have Garm care for him. They’re on a different level of closeness to Garmadon. Clouse doesn’t even know his first name so it means something for Krux, Ray and Koko to know.

I don’t imagine them getting married when they’re younger. I see it working if Garmadon and his wife basically divorced (cause Lloyd’s gotta exist somehow) and Garmadon’s heartbroken because of that but glad they did since it wasn’t working out anymore and they were having a falling out. It just wasn’t healthy to try to stay together.

Krux would just come into the picture and keep him from doing anything drastic. In doing so, they develop together, Krux brings up old feelings saying that Garmadon deserved better and Misako never stood a chance with him. Maybe they reconcile with each other, one thing leads to another, and well..

Krux: No.. we can’t.. Not like this. / Garmadon: Why not? / Krux: I know you’ve been lonely but I’m not looking to be your side piece where you rant on about your ex wife, dump your old feelings, and amuse yourself up until you drop me and move on to the next person again. / Garmadon: ... What if I don’t want to move on anymore? / Krux: That would be a problem for us. / Garmadon: ... Would you prefer us taking it slow then? / Krux: I already waited four decades for my brother, I think we can wait until we’re certain this is permanent this time. / Garmadon: Don’t have me waiting too long.

Do they have a fight/sparring session? Yeah except one time, Garmadon’s pinned and instead of being cheeky or anything, he’s laughing because it’s the most fun he’s had in a while. “What? What’re you laughing about?” “Nothing.. It’s just.. I missed you.” Krux didn’t know what to do cause he didn’t expect that from him at all and it just.. yeah the old feelings are still lingering and they show a bit.

Anyways, Krux may have had gentle moments before with him in their younger years, but.. not with Garmadon being this romantic and sweet. It just makes him wonder why Misako dropped this sweet demigod of a man. Of course he gets bitter at her for breaking the man’s heart when he didn’t deserve that.

Garmadon gets to listen to Krux rant all about his interests. It’s been a long time since he seen Krux that passionate about something he absolutely loves and even though Garm lived through some moments in history, he just finds himself adoring his passion.

Krux won’t admit it out loud, of course, but he likes it when Garm holds him and cuddles up to him. He gets to be warm and listens to the half Dragon-Oni man’s rumbling purrs against him. Sometimes he ends up falling asleep against him and Garm either naps with him or puts him in bed. (They’re tired. Let them rest.)

Whenever he could, Krux does some research on Onis and.. well he learns interesting things about them like them actually having both parts to easily transform into a person make it extremely convincing but he’ll bring that up to Garmadon later on the relationship how Oni are affectionate and maybe surprises Garmadon with a few things, but it nonetheless makes Garm happy that he’s putting in effort.

Who slips out an “I love you” first? I wanna say Krux, because it’s most unlike him to say that and Garmadon hearing that from him for the first time ever just catches him so off guard that he’s stuttering “W-.. what did you just say?”

Krux is trying not to trip over words after saying that “Now listen here Montgomery! I was just- Monty stop looking at me like that I did not- Back up- NO! No cuddling right now! Noo-.”

Krux ends up getting stuck cuddling him anyway and he’s so flustered but so happy... He even gets to hear Garmadon say “I love you too..”

Lloyd’s happy that his dad’s feeling better, even if it is oddly with Krux, but nonetheless he’s happy. Krux is even a good father figure to him and it works for the whole GarmaFam.

Krux actually, surprisingly brought up the idea of marriage to them since he still has a ring box with a pair of rings and they both clearly were happy with each other.

Garmadon: Were they for me? / Krux: No. I was moving on when I met someone twenty years after the first half of the war, but tragedy struck them at the worst time and well I never got to give these to someone so... perhaps you and I could wear them.. / Garmadon: ... Are you trying to propose to me, Kruxie? / Krux: Montgomery, don’t tease me. It’s been a while and the speech I put together wasn’t even met for you- Stop your stupid cute grin! I’m serious!

Do they get married? Maybe. Maybe not. It depends if they both want to. (Okay they definitely do. They, mostly Krux, just wanted to make sure they just didn’t want to jump too fast without knowing how high.)

And the night after the wedding? Well.. they already have experience with each other so it’s nothing they aren’t unfamiliar with even if one of them is nervous. (“I’ll be honest it’s been a long while. I might actually be rusty.” “Oh please you’re able to be flexible and energetic in a fight. I doubt you wouldn’t be the same here.” “Hehehe.. Kruxie... My Kruxie..” “Getting possessive of me now?” “Why not? You don’t like it?” “... I never said I didn’t.”)

Garmadon: So is it Krux Garmadon or Montgomery Saunders? / Krux: The Saunders name was a pseudonym for my persona. I don’t think Montgomery Saunders fits... / Garmadon: So Krux Garmadon then? It’s funny when you think about it. Krux spent years working on his disguise and the next thing he knows it gets undone just because of Garmadon and he’s so upset by it.

As much as he’d rather avoid the bi chaotic half Oni man, he accidentally confirms Garmadon’s suspicions when he yells at him “Enough Montgomery!” And he just gave himself away because no one else knows Garm’s first name except for a few. (Hc that Lloyd’s middle name came from Garmadon’s first name)

Krux: How did you figure it out? / Garmadon: Your build, your hair, the unnatural tone of voice, the color scheme and Krux, you live in a museum. You’re the only person I know who had an interest in history more than most people and you’re one of the few that knows my full name./ Krux: ... Hmph. I was getting away with it for so long too. / Garmadon: That’s cause Wu is a fool... And I’m not Wu.

I’m still just imagining a fight happening between them and it’s just them tumbling around until Krux just gets pinned and he’s struggling until he headbutts him and for once gets on top. Krux gets caught off guard with him going “oh look you’re on top for once.”

He ends up getting held against him and the older time twin just struggles against him, not even caring that Garmadon still has a height-weight advantage, until he’s spent and tired. “You done, Krux?” He just gets the silent treatment.

I wouldn’t be surprised if after the fight they just have a drink and somehow it does lead to them hooking up.

There were multiple problems with that, especially with Krux still being Garmadon’s enemy, Lloyd’s parental substitute, kidnapping their old friends, Ray and Maya, and the fact that if Krux spiraled down into his feelings again, then he might accidentally be the one to be affectionate first and ruin what Koko and Garm have going on, if Garm hadn’t said anything about them to her already or if she hasn’t figured it out.

Truth be told they weren’t supposed to be permanent or anything, but Krux liked the company he provided and Garmadon didn’t mind keeping a bed warm.

Despite being one of his flings, Garmadon was actually quite considerate/caring to Krux.

Outside the bedroom, Garmadon was a charming dumbass and dammit that charisma just kept Krux around.

Krux often teased him about those dumbass moments, especially the time Garmadon was brooding on the roof but then Krux surprised him and made the man slip and fall. The time twin hadn’t stopped laughing about that yet.

Oh don’t worry. Garmadon teased him back whenever he could about his height and even picked him up. It made Krux so flustered and embarrassed at him doing that, even after their nightly interactions.

Speaking of their interactions, despite it being rough play, there was one time where they did slow down and everything was just so.. soft. Krux was surprised at him being gentle but.. he didn’t mind it either.

Garmadon slipped into his Oni form a few times around him and went absolutely feral. Krux found himself a new kink but also finds it kinda cute when Garm wags his tail because the Oni man’s excited for more.

Sometimes, Krux wondered if Garmadon had his Dragon-Oni habits of hopping mates and being dishonest under control, then maybe they could’ve had something besides their one night stands.

I feel like at some point Krux had to have met Garmadon again when he was Dr. Saunders. And Garmadon thinking he has another admirer because he keeps catching "Saunders" staring at him before looking away and tripping over himself when he's actually talking to Garm.

Oh they definitely met. It just happened to be through Lloyd of course, because Krux/Dr. Saunders was a parental substitute during season 2 up to 7 and Krux figured he was Garm’s kid since he looked so much like him.

Forgive me if I read this wrong, but who’s the one tripping over themselves? Is it Krux? Garmadon? Either way, it’s funny to think about and I will accept them being dumbasses.

Now I’m going to be stuck thinking about Garm somehow tripping over himself and Krux almost breaks his Saunders character so he just excuses himself and tries not to laugh so hard over it.

Edit: Now that I read it again, I now see Krux tripping and falling, thinking ‘oh no he’s coming right at me! Ah-!’ Garmadon probably helps him up. Krux is embarrassed and flustered by all this but he’s trying not to show it and break his Saunders character.

Garm looks him up and down before going “are you falling for me?” Saunders chuckled at that and denies that, saying that was a terrible joke.

Later on Krux is just trying to calm down in his hideout and after years of trying to get over his old feelings, it doesn’t work out for him clearly. “Stupid sexy Garmadon with that stupid grin and his goddamn charisma.”

Yes it applies to the other Garmaships (because his bi chaotic ass wouldn’t be stopped) I just can’t stop thinking about Garm being so tense at his significant other seeing his scars (especially his lightning scar) but instead of whatever he thought he feels gentle touches and kisses and he just lets out a heavy sigh he didn’t know he was holding and begins to relax underneath their gentle hands and lips.
