13. What are your character’s sleeping habits? Heavy or light sleeper? Blanket stealer? One that always rolls onto the floor? Pushes their lover onto the floor? Sleep talker or walker?

he clearly has to sleep either right side up or face down, so he sleeps facing the ceiling. he also likes wrapping himself in blankets to imitate a recuperacoon. talks in his sleep if he’s having a bad nightmare. 

30. When it comes to the arts (music, film, theater, etc), what does your character like?

tavros likes literature/poetry the most! but he’s not particularly focused on one, he just enjoys good stories and Ye Ancient Alternian Slam Poetry.

44. Is there a particular event that would emotionally devastate your character?

he hates knowing that someone he cared about has gotten hurt/died, and that he could have been there to stop it.

Hey so what about that whole eating people thing how does our friendly neighborhood abyssal feel about that huh : )

so…

turns out eating people is something you get desensitized to over time.  it’s also something that becomes a lot more tempting when you have access to your whole range of charms and need essence to use them. essence that you can only get from consuming the breath, blood, or flesh of an individual (and in case anyone thinks ‘breath doesn’t sound that bad,’ it’s basically suffocating someone with a kiss.  there’s no nice way to collect essence from someone).

so beauty… doesn’t feel great about it.  but he doesn’t feel bad or grossed out by it in the way that he did in his early days as an abyssal.  he’s trying to limit the collateral damage by mostly doing a carrion-eater thing, but he still needs blood that’s from a corpse less than one minute dead.  and that means lurking in sector 3 and profiting personally from things like muggings and gang violence.  i’m sure sometimes it’s a case of an NPC trying to roll him over and him defending himself lethally, too.

that’s totally cool right?  yeah...

on the other hand, being well-fed does wonders for his emotional stability. what would it be like if he dragged himself out through starvation?  would he snap some day and just chow down on the nearest person?  that would be worse, wouldn’t it?  he can’t ask his friends for their blood - half of them don’t even know he needs it and he’s afraid of what they’ll think, and he knows how much an abyssal’s bite hurts.

so that’s how he does it.

Whenever Akoya finally gets back to his room, he should find a garment bag drapped over his bed. Inside, is a pastel ensemble, likely familiar from one of their photo shoots at work. On the hangar, is a little note: You really worked this one, Princess. Figured you should get to keep it. Happy birthday.

       Do you know when cats pounce on their prey all of a sudden, when they least expect it? That’s what happened. Of course, Shishiou isn’t quite a cat; his name might mean Lion King, but he’s still a sword, without any “feline instincts”, but he tries anyway. And of course, it hadn’t happened immediately. He had only seen the other man on the street, and quickly hid himself from sight. Why? Well, the tachi didn’t quite know either, but that was instinct-- feline instinct.

       And so he found somewhere he could climb on ( following Sasuke at the same time ), only to make his dramatic entrance. And he did pounce ( body position as accurately as possible ), his arms on each side of the man’s head and all his weight onto his back.

       Needless to say, both met the ground rather quickly.

       ❝ Yer bastard. What the hell’s up with ya? Weren’t we 'posed to be married? Ya didn’t text me once! ❞

Sooner or later, Akoya should spot a small package--pink, if you can believe it--resting on the table just inside his door. Inside is a small assortment of white chocolate shapes, with tiny pink accents. With them, a small note was tucked inside: "You're right, the white does make the pink stand out more." - Sasuke

There’s no hiding how pleased he looks. From the pink packaging to the careful decorations on each chocolate, everything practically shouts his name; this is a gift catered to his personal tastes. Sasuke’s obvious efforts are sure to make each bite all the sweeter.

-- But before Akoya tries one, he decides to snap a picture of them with his cell phone. They’re pretty enough to be immortalized!
