Nine of clubs.

12/3/2023. Referenced Figma Archetype She as a drawing model. Dip pen and paintbrush, using Daler Rowney FW acrylic ink "Marine Blue". Fixes and clean-up with Daler Rowney FW acrylic ink "White" and Krita.

I can't get digital scans of this ink to look as vibrant as this color is in real life. I'm very bad at color and digital art stuff. I've previously wasted too much time trying to fix the color/saturation in Krita. So, I decided to give up.

Scanned with an extra large book directly atop my sketchbook (vs atop my scanner's cover), to help ensure the paper is properly flat against my scanner's glass, at the time of scanning. Resulted in much clearer, solid whites and a more focused, non-blurry image.

“We should wait,” the Spotter said staring downwind at the target.

“Patience is not a luxury we can afford, either I paint the cobbles with this monster’s brains or he vanishes again” the Sniper growled softly.

There was a pause of silent debate as both soldiers watched the target through their own apparatus, milling about in post-speech revelry.

The Spotter sighed “Wind is favourable, distance correction of five degrees, hold fire until he moves from the civilian crowd.”

“Copy” the Sniper took a steadying breath before the snap of cordite that sounded like a pen stroke in the history books.

Trektober Day 29 - Universal Translator Mishap. I'd imagine that without professional translation, most books run through the UT wouldn't be much better than Google Translate (although I suspect that Garak can read them just fine and is playing along anyway. It'd be weird to not learn at least a couple extra languages in the tailoring business).
