Ooo the question turned back on me a taste of my own medicine... <333... I haven't written a lot recently but I have been editing a ton!! I recently polished up my What if Bug Noire was Active in a Regular Akuma Battle fanfiction and I'm starting to workshop a really short oneshot featuring Ladybug facing the grief of losing Master Fu, her mentor, and her childhood all at once, while at the same time knowing that Fu is still alive but has forgotten everything about her, and who he was to her, and the crushing responsibilities he left for her. YAYY FUN STUFF!!! I also have a little poem I've written for Sentitwin Week (set during a confrontation between Felix and Adrien after Emotion) and am gearing up to write some more for the same week!! Beautiful prompts make my head explode...
Other than that I have been reading a lot of fantasy stories too so I am rotating the idea of the Core Four in a magic universe as well (Well. More magic than usual. And more witch/familiar/urban fantasy hehe 🫶)

I just finished re-reading one of my favourite books, The Shadow of Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, which retells the story of a cursed book and of the young boy who tries to uncover what happened to its author. So I am thinking extra hard about stories within stories, what makes a monster, and most importantly how a character can escape their narrative.
… I am so predictable.
But!!! This is excellent in terms of writing!!! I have a confrontation coming up in Glitter and Gold that is heavily inspired by the fairy tale throwdown between princes and dragons. I am motivated to work on the Dog and Fox AU again and I’ve been editing Shadow Strike. The monster aspect in particular makes me want to get started on my Black Cat Kagami AU, which I should not do right now because I have far too many WIPs already, but the idea is here and it won’t leave me alone —
The one that’s been sneaking up on me more and more is an AU @paracosmicat got started on a while back, where Felix and Adrien end up trapped in Bunnyx’s Burrow and are forced to revisit their memories. I really really want to make something out of this one. I’m tearing up just thinking about it. ARGH.

Top 5 Felix Kwami Swaps? 💜🦚
KWAMI SWAP YOU SAY? Rubbing my grubby hands, alrighty I GOT this.
Black Cat. Not only is it great because of obvious Sentitwin related reasons but the concept of how it’s used is PERFECT. Destruction as freedom? Destroying the things that hurt you to make way for a better future? Not only being careful with the power but precise with it? I think Plagg would get along well with him once he saw what he could do.
Fox. Illusions require creativity and a bit of flare, which Félix has down to a T. He’s both excellent at lying to conceal the truth but still willing to tell other people the truth when he thinks it’s necessary for them to know. Trixx and Félix would be a force to be reckoned with I think!
Ladybug. I have a concept for this one and it just keeps getting BIGGER. A big part of being a Ladybug Holder is being able to figure out whatever the Lucky Charms throw at you and I think Félix is definitely clever enough to pull off some pretty crazy plans with whatever he gets. Plus it also comes with responsibility of needing to heal the damage caused by other Miraculouses, which is another thing I think he could handle! He’s gonna get a couple lectures from Tikki but I think they’d otherwise be fine. Plus the idea of a senti, a being who is created, wielding the power of creation, is a bit fun on its own.
Monkey. The main purpose of the Monkey’s power is to disrupt whatever it is that others are doing. You know who is GREAT at throwing a wrench in other people’s plans? Félix. Xuppu might be a handful but he’ll figure him out pretty quickly. Just a generally good fit!
Turtle. This one is half for the ‘Félix being protective’ aspect and half for the ‘BATTLE DOME!!!’ aspect. Wayzz thinks Félix’s methods for using Shell-ter are very… Creative. Said in that exact tone. At least they both enjoy a good cup of tea.
Didn’t include the Dog because it’s canon, though it’s gone too soon, miss you Flairmidable </3
Also honorable mentions to the Butterfly, Bee, Mouse, and Dragon!! All very fun, just sadly didn’t make the cut.

The sentitwins are beyond precious. The storylines were brilliant. The kagami & amelie appearances!! Black cat felix & disabled adrien!! The Argos & chat noir dynamic! The what if emotion / risk /... went differenty!! FELIX AND FUTURE ARGOS!!!!!!!! The one where adriens a monster, amelie definetly deserves a follow up! I wonder if adrien secretely told her the truth too and she played along?
🐰THE SENTI BUNNY🐰!! I didn't know the bunny lore could become even more tragic, yet you found THE most gut wrenching way possible nina!! Also in 'Close your eyes, the coast is clear (I will guard you well)' I thought at first adrien named the hamster tico as in tico the skunk from dora the explorer and that did NOT make any sense to me lmao but then I continued reading and quickly realised you were referring to a different tico

basically a feligami fic with chapters loosely inspired by the 1989 vault tracks. it's not finished yet (one chapter to go!!) but writing it has been so fun. i think the chapters might be slightly cringe at times, but honestly its so them <3
