Inspired by the concept of quantum awareness, Robert Lanza's biocentrism and the Wish Tree art installation series by Yoko Ono, INTENT 2020 seeks to create a synergy effect by compiling together diverse pieces of music expressing intentions and desires for the year 2020. The original compilation call stated the following: "This is a special time of the year when everyone around the world is making resolutions, wishes and hopes for the coming year are buzzing in people's minds... so, be creative, experiment, think of something you would like to happen in your life in 2020, produce a track and submit it to the compilation! And, who knows, perhaps, you will manifest exactly what you're asking for during the coming year!"

The first volume of INTENT 2020, "Solid State", includes works by the artists based in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Serbia, the US (California, Missouri), and South Africa.

This volume features Hidden Glow, Pariah, Thomas Park, Edø Pistø Sømi, Wilfried Hanrath, Zumaia, The Recording Angel, Riversky, Nimbostrata, Kosmik Leprechaun,Lezet, Aleksandra Chaladus, and Björn-Erik Wilén.
