T/Amitheasshole for accidentally killing a spiders dad?

Hello! So to start off, I was sent on a mission to retrieve a crystal from a spider cave that held fortunes, but my partner in crime warned me to not do the mission due to how dangerous it was, and the risks, me being the fool I am, I completely ignored his warning! I mean that guy couldn’t even handle a butterfly! And plus I couldn’t let the team down.

Now on to the main story, yadda. Here’s where I realized I fucked up, so during venturing, I reached the cave with the fortunes, but there was a problem: the big dad spider was there with his children, which I counted as 18 of them! So I decided to just tiptoe to the treasure and slowly get it out, but one of the little spiders woke up, and he didn’t look harmless.

OH FUCK MY LIFE!! turns out that spider sends a signal to the other spiders, and now I had to fight off 18 baby spiders. One came flying at me, and my fight-or-flight mode just turned on (I choose fight), and before I knew it, I accidentally… yeah, based on the title.

The spider dad woke up standing at his full height, which was 12’5. I can’t tell, but he was definitely huge, expecting to see his babies with a smile on his face until he saw the carnage that a mere human, myself, did, and he just looked at me and then back at the carnage. I apologized frantically, but he wasn’t listening, maybe because he couldn’t understand, but he started to cry, and it sounded so human-like...?

I didn’t know what to do, so I slowly took the treasure and tried to exit out of the cave, but before I knew it, he was after me! A big-ass 12’5 spider was rushing towards me and damaged his own cave due to his rage and even ended up tripping me on my feet (I HAVE BAD KNEE PROBLEMS, SO THANKS, ASSHOLE). and now I’m in a. Deep dark area hiding from him, so I’m asking you three for your guys opinion.
