I've let the 28mm Nikkor lens sit for far too long. I took it for a spin on the Nikon FE with an old color film. It's been great fun to photograph my neighborhood and some old trees that have weathered decades of hurricanes. Some have even been trimmed by the power company to make room for power lines. They hold fast doing their thing.

I got a Nikkor Pre-AI 28mm f/2 and this is one of the most underrated lenses so far. I don’t know why a lens with this much focus throw hardly gets any discussion.

So here’s a rare image from this lens. How this lens perceives color is very different compared to modern glass and I love the character it brings
