🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 OKAY, so, why an acoustic record?? • So I was recording solo guitar tracks at home, and they were all electric guitar tracks (Billy Bragg style, as I call it). I did one with an acoustic guitar, just to try it out. I didn't think it would translate too well, but it did, pretty fuckin' well, I thought. So I recorded more tracks of my songs with acoustic guitar, and decided to keep them. Acoustic guitars can be badass instruments, if you use them right. This is not a quiet, chill, folky, campfire, coffee-shop record, or any other stigmas attached to acoustic guitar music. Just wait and see. •Playing with just a guitar is a reflection of where I'm at, as a performer. I'd love to play with a band, but because of personal, and geographical circumstances, that's just not working out. I'm 👏NOT 👏FUCKING 👏AROUND with my endeavors, sometimes you've gotta do shit yourself, regardless of people's beliefs and opinions on what music should be (no diss on them, or my former band members. Well, not all of you, LOL). ....Sometimes it's just me and a guitar(billed as "ADAM ANZIO [ac]"). Sometimes it's full electronic orchestration, New Order/Depeche Mode style (billed as "ADAM ANZIO"). These two different ways I perform my material are a reflection of where I'm at. PLEASE don't call it "folk-punk", not that I'm that picky about stupid labels, LOL🤢. •That's where I'm at. THE RECORD WILL BE RELEASED ON AUGUST 11th, online, and in CD form (vinyl is expensive, and I can't take the tape revival seriously at this point. Maybe someday). August 11th is also the day of the RECORD RELEASE / LISTENING PARTY, at Star Bar's "Little Vinyl Lounge". With me, will be my patna 'n dem, Tuk @electric_playboy, and Nikki Speake of @nikkiandthephantomcallers. •STAY PREST!
