Hello!

I run a small Union in Nikke: Goddess of Victory which is super short on members! I wanted to create a Union that was more friendly to LGBT+ players since the community is generally quite unwelcoming.

Finally got around to buying the Nikke profile stickers I want since I keep drawing dupes! Bought all the Bow Wow Paradise ones!! It was one of my fave events bc I love dogs and dog girls and Happy Zoo and ESPECIALLY Biscuit so much. As you can see, I got all the 'dog' girls as my showcase team, too, lol:

Also, as an aside, I just got a new personal record in Overclock at level 16!! Which is why I remembered I needed to edit my profile when I went to check if it changed to 16 (I think I was at 12 maybe last time they ran Overclock in the Simulation Room).

While I still haven't gotten Elegg, by an unbelievable stroke of luck I've gotten Maxwell, Laplace, and Drake among my starting roster, and I love this fucking goon squad. This trio are Syuen's personal minions, whom she markets as the "heroes" and protectors of the Ark.

First up, the face of the squad is Drake, a scary, demon-looking lady in black and red armor, whose personality of what I can only call "a gijinka of those flaming, gun-toting, motorcycle-driving skeleton memes that say corny wholesome things, with the moral sensibilities of a Disgaea demon." She wants to form a "Villain Union" because being part of the most popular squad in the entire Ark isn't enough, so she'll surpass her reputation as a hero as a villain. Except her idea of villainy is the most harmless petty stuff possible, like walking in the bike line, buying out the entire stock at a food stall so no one else can get any, or paying for a meal at a restaurant with her autograph. These actions all ultimately cause more good than any harm, which only makes her more beloved as a hero, much to her frustration. She's kind of hilarious, being an effortlessly intimidating and charismatic figure that cackles like a supervillain while also being a goody twoshoes that needs help ordering a pizza because she gets nervous when talking on the phone.

Then we've got Laplace, who are respectively a hyperactive idiot that screams about justice and being a superhero while causing massive amounts of property damage with every "heroic" action she takes. She's got gold and blue armor, and embodies the "Good Is Dumb" trope, lacking any and all common sense. She jumps through windows rather than use doors, sees every situation as a chance for her to be a hero, and uses breaking things as her go to solution to any problem. Building on fire? Blow up the surrounding buildings so the fire can't spread! Naturally her popularity is mixed as while she means well, she ends up causing more problems with her rampant collateral damage and lack of sense, but having her status as a "hero" called into question is so emotionally damaging it physically paralyzes her.

And backing them up is Maxwell, an utterly deranged mad scientist that is openly manipulating you for the sake of testing her dangerous inventions and completely defies the ideas that Nikkes need to carry out normal human activities to maintain their mental health by having fully robotic legs and a railgun directly integrated into her spine. Uncommon for many, Maxwell freely talks about her life before she volunteered to become a Nikke and how convenient it is to be free from biological processes of being human. So she can spend more time working. She has no hobbies, no friends, and doesn't even think about things like food or drink, because all her time is dedicated to squeezing more power out of gun she refers to with the same affectionate nickname as the Commander. At this point I think she's trying to trick herself into falling in love to see if that will get an extra 1% energy output in her railcannon.

I dont know why, but I'm now the leader of a union I've been in on nikke. If any of yall play nikke, why not join this group? It's active enough that we do beat the union rapture bosses enough to get enough rewards from it.

how would the post-exile ROs have reacted if they had been in syfyn and sabir's shoes and had to watch everything that happened to the commander pre-exile? ig this is assuming we're in some sort of AU where the commander is from a different region or the ROs are from Plaithus, so that they would've known each other

Okay so... I may or may not have gotten in over my head. The regular plot that MC follows of being raised by the queens/turned into a half-mythosi/infused with Fate/etc. doesn’t really work if I change the circumstances, so instead I just rewrote MC’s story entirely for these.

So instead of being about the ROs reactions to what MC went through, this is about what their reactions would’ve been to MC’s exile itself... which is good anyhow since the first one is a bit too spoilery anyway.

Vethna

Alright, in this universe, MC was found by Vygrand instead of Plaithus and was adopted by the Lilliant family-- one of the six leading houses. MC is trained in combat to serve as a guard for the family and, due to their prowess, is enlisted by the Mevnraels to serve as a guard for Vethna and their companions (Javier + Jamie). A few years pass, relationships are formed, and once again MC is possessed by Fate due to the meddling of those around them. They snap, and in their fit of rage end up killing a large group of high-ranking Vygrandian officials.

MC is put on trial and is sentenced to exile.

In response, Vethna immediately goes to their father, the Archmage, and begs for MC to be pardoned. Depending on MC + Vethna's relationship, he'd respond in one of two ways.

A.) If they were just friends, he'd agree and have MC pardoned. Thanks to the freedom of the Vygrandian government, this poses little problems due to the overwhelming power of House Mevnrael and its alliances.

B.) If they were lovers, he'd disagree and continue to have MC be banished for the sake of keeping Vethna "focused" and "on-track." An incredibly distressed Vethna would panic, thus enlisting the help of Javier + Jamie. Javier comes to the obvious conclusion that they should just break MC out of prison. Then, Vethna + MC should run away until Vethna’s father’s ire lessens and they can return together to live “happily ever after”... which sounds like a horrible idea, but alas, beggars can’t be choosers. The trio works together to break into the prison where MC is being kept before Javier + Jamie help the two escape from Vygrand undetected.

Nikke + Jost

MC washes up in Vrithka as an orphan to which Nikke + Jost's clan adopt them and raise them as one of their own. Nikke + Jost become close to MC since MC is the only other child being enlisted into the Taipan, and as a result the three spend a lot of time training together.

Due to outside meddling, MC is possessed by Fate, snaps, and kills most of the clan.

Nikke, in a fit of rage, tries to kill MC immediately after the fact only to be stopped by Jost. He will not give up, however, and the two get into a physical fight where Jost yells at MC to run away for their own safety.

Either way, Nikke will eventually catch up to MC only to chicken out on killing them at the last-second-- instead yelling at MC out of a mixture of anguish and anger. He’d demand MC to leave and never return-- and if they do? Next time he won’t be so kind as to spare their life.

If MC was closer to Nikke, him + Jost will simply watch them leave and never return.

If MC was closer to Jost, Jost would leave with MC into exile.

Amilia

MC gets lost in the faewilds as an orphan and is immediately adopted by the fae as one of their own. MC doesn't end up meeting Amilia until their early twenties, and the two get along immediately. Upon realizing MC is human and the connection they have to Fate, all of the clans encourage MC to become one with Fate.

The union is openly celebrated by the Fae. When MC completely snaps due to Fate’s possession and kills a large portion of them, they continue to celebrate it, more than happy to submit to a Wykna’s will.

Either A.) MC + Fate continue to become one until MC's individual psyche is lost entirely or

B.) MC, out of panic and distress, attempts to leave the clan to find a cure. The clans, enraged by this, lock MC up, to which Amilia helps break MC out. The two end up escaping together in the dead of night to try and find a way to exorcise Fate from MC's mind.

Nikke: Goddess of Victory event Beauty Full Shot minigame spoilers: (LONG POST)

So yesterday, I managed to catch the last couple fish in the fishing minigame!!

I'm surprised there wasn't the great white shark?? I guess that's just gonna happen in the story instead? Unless it's like a 1 in a million chance of getting it in secret or something? But the fucking whale lmao, that mf was SO HARD to get.

In general, it was super fucking hard to catch them all, but I really grinded for the first couple days to keep getting all the fishing rods (the blue one at the max 60k price level is the best for catching the large fish because it does the most damage), and then all the equipment, too.

Hot tip: Don't bother with the red puddles until you've gotten the highest fishing rod and practised on the blue and gold puddles (unless you're already like a god at rhythm games, but I'm sure NOT especially on a touch screen).

OH also, I don't think the game explained it, but the casting animation before the rhythm game is for choosing which size of fish you want to get, NOT for the starting percentage of the rhythm game. (I mean, yeah it affects the percentage, but ALL blue catches start at like 50%. All of the legendary ones start at 80% regardless of the fishing rod or equipment.) Took me a while to notice that and I would've saved myself a lot of attempts if I'd have just aimed for the easy blue section on the meter in the beginning (I was clicking the gold one every time and suffering because it went too fast every time, and was confused why gold wasn't giving me an easier starting percentage).

You can see how much I've been playing the game compared with everyone else. It's fucking addicting and I gotta catch 'em all. Almost at 1mil earned lol.

The fucking Spongebob easter eggs were hilarious. I caught Spongebob and didn't realize that's who it was supposed to be until I caught Patrick next. RIP Sandy.

Anyway, yeah, that's my post. Just wanted to share bc I love Nikke and the event and the mini games. I even went and got the Dave the Diver full game on PC bc I'm OBSESSED with the Aegis minigame and it's so chill and cool from the few minutes I played (just got it so haven't had time to do more yet). It was also on sale! (Probably still on sale?)

So yeah. Really loving this event, they really went all out. OH and the music, too? Love it.
