New promotional picture for the Spring-focused 7 Seeds stage play.

Some interesting things, there:

-At the bottom, under the title, are multiple photographs of scenery depicting nature at different seasons. 1 in color, representing spring, then 4 in black and white, with the last one being halfway cut. Looks like a hint that the producers might be interested in making more stage plays for other parts of the manga

-The presence of Mozu and Aramaki seems to indicate this stage play might cover content from volume 5-6. Which I hadn't thought about but isn't too surprising a possibility.

-On the other hand, the characters on the left? They very much look like the cleaning robots builders from the big final arc of the story! I'd be very curious to learn what role they'd have to play in this particular play.

Hello there Hibari Niigusa fans.

With 7Seeds ending, I guess we won’t learn more about the special link between Hibari and Hotaru. 

Personnally I had the feeling that Hotaru may be an illigetimate child of the Niigusa family, making her Hibari’s half-sister. That could explain things like their likeness and the fact that their ‘spiritual connection’, as well as the reasons why Hotaru was working for Hibari’s family, taken in the project and is very set on helping Hibari, while Hibari herself is afraid of being “replaced” by Hotaru. Her precociousness and jaded attitude towards romantic relationships would also fit with her knowing one of her parents had an adulterous relationship.

EDIT: I hadn’t reread volume 12 in a while and forgot Hibari talks about them actually being cousins.

7 Seeds Week, Day 2

Theme of the day: Future

Starring: Hibari

Day 2: Future

“You will start a new life in the future” her grandma had said. Just what did she even mean by that? Was some big change coming? Sometimes Hibari just didn’t get the old woman’s figurative speech.

And by sometimes she meant most of the time.

Hotaru on the other hand always seemed to understand it. Or was she just better at hiding her confusion, trying to please their grandmother? Hibari wouldn’t put it past her… but this time, Hotaru hadn’t been there. She and grandma had been alone when she was told it. Did that mean that whatever change was coming, it didn’t involve Hotaru?

“You will be placed in to Team Spring”

What did that mean? It was a group of people she’d have to work with, that much Hibari had gathered, but would they be above her or below her? Or would their status be equal? She wished her grandmother had explained her more about it, but she supposed there was some mystery here that Hibari was expected to solve herself.

“Whatever” the girl thought as she got in to her bed. Whatever it was, it was something her grandmother had planned, so it must be important. Besides “Whatever it is, I’ll be fine with it as long as Hotaru isn’t involved.”
