Nuh uh, he's not allowed to die! We already know Chifuyu lost Baji, in his arms mind you, so Ryuusei's not allowed to bleed out on his back! The spin off better end with Chifuyu and Ryuusei reuniting at Baji's grave, not Chifuyu remembering yet another friend's death.

Remember how, in chapter 7 of the spin off, Chifuyu wonders what he is to Baji?

Well...

A stray cat. To Baji, Chifuyu is a stray cat. A stray cat that showed him in to the right direction without realizing it, but still a stray cat. The thing is, with Chifuyu being such a huge cat person, I can't even tell if he'd be more disappointed or delighted if he ever found out.

Okay, so the latest chapter was... a lot, especially the ending:

I'm pretty sure that "The First World" refers to a time before the Void Century, "The Second World" to Void Century itself, and "The Third World" to the present day/future.

So, from this I'd gather that "Sun God" was someone who came to the aid of the enslaved, but lost some big battle, and the enemies of the enslaved he tried to help stayed in power. "God of the Land" could possibly refer to Imu. I also think that this was when the lost kingdom we hear about in the Ohara flashback was destroyed, but that some of it's people fled.

"Yet the ones who slew the sun" makes it clearer that by "The Second World" Sun God was dead, or at least defeated in a way that kept him from fighting at full power again, likely at the very end of "The First World." "Sun lit the embers of war" should refer to the people who the Sun God gave hope to and who rose to fight the enemy. "Evoking the wrath of the sea god" must refer to Poseidon sinking the world, creating the world of islands that we know in One Piece. "Sun God" refers to "Nika" who we're pretty sure is JoyBoy, yes? And "Sea God" is the mermaid who held the power of Poseidon, but the question is: who is "The God of Forest?" If we assume it's someone we've heard about before, it could be Zunesha, the elephant with an actual forest and land on her back, someone we know to have known Joyboy. Her "nurturing it's devils" could refer to her giving shelter and working as a hiding spot for the rebels, the ones continuing Joyboy's will. "Those of the half-crescent and full moons dreamed" is a part I'm not sure of, but "those of the full moons" could refer to the lost civilization that's ruins Enel found in, well, the moon. As for "half-crescent", I think they are still around; I think they are the carriers of "The Will of D." Perhaps "D" is not actually the letter D but a symbol of the half moon, making "Will of D." the will and legacy left behind by the people of half-crescent mentioned here. But if they are the people with the "D" in their name now, who were they in the past? One theory is that they are all of the same bloodline, but what if the "D" refers to a group they belonged to, people of some particular nation, perhaps the lost civilization that's name Clover almost told in the Ohara flashback? The thing that fights against this theory is that Nefertari D. Lily already had a D in her name back then, unless the group of rebels specifically took her name.

"Chaos reigns" indeed, but "the world drifts in a void?" What does that refer to? The void history people are unaware of? Does "as the voice of the half moon echoes through the ages" refer to the "will of D." and people who know about it? Note that here the half moon is mentioned again, while the moon, the people of the moon, are not. Wouldn't that imply that the people of the moon are gone, but the people of the half-crescent are still here, in one way or the other?

Assuming this is the future, we clearly have Luffy in this picture. I'm also pretty sure there's that robot from Egghead. And there's also a whale... Laboon? And isn't that a Lunarian in front of the whale? Is it King, or are there more of them hiding somewhere?

In any case, looking forward to see how much of this hits the mark and what I've missed.

How innocent they seem around the team just adds insult to the injury... but seriously, betrayal? Really? That's nasty; if you want to kill them so bad, stab them from the front.

I'm not saying it's bad as a tactic, it can be effective in fact, but even if we ignore the moral aspect of things, this plan still holds risks: if they betray them yet fail to take them down, their killer instincts will no longer be their only motive to go after people from Konoha. If this goes to hell, it's on Shikamaru.

May I ask where you read "Baji Keisuke Kara no Tegami"? And how many chapters are there?

I use a page called manga4life. By now there are 37 chapters and the updates seem to be very irregular, but I don't know if it's because of the translation or the publishing pace.

I really hope Koshiro's thoughts are here just for the dramatic effect, but Ryuusei dying due to blood loss would be a solid reason for why he's no longer in Toman. As a plot solution though, it would be kind of overused; Ryuusei would die because of a conflict his best friend got him in to, just like what happened to Baji. Considering that, it would be pretty lame; that trick got used up already. So, if Ryuusei dies... eh, bad solution. I hope that his mom just does an unlike thing for a parent in TR and steps in and makes him stop all the gang shit or something and he decides to listen in order to keep Koshiro out of that stuff too.

Okay so yeah we got to see Elbaf and the island itself looks wild and all, but I'm kinda way more interested in something else:

VIVI SENT A MESSAGE TO THE CREW! She sent a message and all the ones who'd understand it are not there, damn it! Robin, figure it out, fast!

...Or not? I mean, there's probably no hurry; Vivi's telling them that she's out there and maybe trying to tell where exactly, but it's not like the whatever the bird's name was is gonna kick her out, so she can just sit tight until the crew gets her message, right? Or is she planning something?

I remember first seeing this after finishing the anime (but hadn't read any of the manga yet) and was like "err what?" but after finishing the manga I was like "right, that makes sense."
