It might be weird but i recently started watching turkish dramas and I wanted to ask if you have 3 top ships or something because you had said before you like one and I need shows to watch 😊😊

OMG FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS MY SHAME!!! HIIIII!!!

okay so I’ve watched like 4 and a half shows so far (I haven’t finished one)

but anyway my top 3 are:

Kemal & Nihan -  Kara Sevda: basically the biggest love story you’ve ever seen, the notebook in turksh (but better) paired with the couple solving mysteries, being angsty, the actual cutest and cheesiest and trying not to let the world pull them apart again. Also they’re like one of my BIGGEST OTPS eveeeer aaand they won an international emmy this year! Omer & Defne -  Kiralik Ask: angsty rom com series with the typical assistant and boss turn into sooo much more but there’s a twist and hence the angst. They are super cute, funny, hot and i love them as well so so much they’re my babies and they have such a story like wow. Fanvid Trailer

Ferit & Nazli - Dolunay: i just finished this and it was very cute, also a rom com and another boss x employ story only this time she’s his chef and anyway a lot of stuff happens and there’s *spoiler* the “fake” dating trope taken to the next level. Fanvid Trailer

Also not interested in seeing Emir as a dynamic person, can’t he just be evil and we be done with it? I’m not interested in seeing nuance in people who are objectively bastards

I know that this is dramatic tv so it will never happen, but why can’t Kemal at least try to disguise his appearance while he’s sneaking around sleuthing and following Emir/Galip and co.?

I’m uninterested in Kemal’s family drama - and I don’t like how agressive he is with Zeynep. He knows she’s a pathological lier, and yet he’s so pushy with her that of course she’s going to lie to him what does he expect? For once I agree with Tarik

I do love that Kemal has his little place to look at Nihan’s gate from his yard (this sentence makes it seem more creepy than it is lol)

I don’t care about Salih either way

I’m glad Nihan is trying to talk to Zeynep but everyone and their mother can see that nothings going to make a dent

I’m still down with this Tarik x Banu plotline

Okay maybe Önder isn’t the weakest link... do not love him but it’s nice that he’s not Kenan Yılderımlar lol

A calm Emir and Kemal face off? What a world. At least we know Emir isn’t completely stupid since he looks for Nihan with Kemal

A man freely admitting his jealousy calmly to a 3rd party so as to deal with it?? American tv would never. As morally gray as Leyla is, I’m glad she is a support system for Kemal

Kemal: Feels jealous Also Kemal: resolutely fixes a sink and does some at-home DIY so he can feel in control of himself... lol okay then

Oof this was all just one episode? There are too many episodes left for me to take so many notes

I’m 10 episodes in to Kara Sevda (which feels too late to start a commentary thread) but I’m really enjoying watching a show that I know has a lot of episodes, where characters are steadily making progress to find out Nihan’s secret

Unlike Kiralık Aşk where it took LITERALLY 52 EPISODES of Ömer knowing nothing before he found out everything in almost the worst possible way
