Nightmare Fields - Part Two
Part two of nightmare fields. I'm just laying it out there. Didn’t really expect people to read it. This more of a discovering myself thing............ (Or is it to discover how many... prey fall for my trap.)
Again this is like my first time writing this sort of thing, wonder where this goes. Contains vore mention, tongue play, fear play, blood, prey, predators.
You are leaning towards making a run for it. "The exit is right there! in front of me, I can just dash to either the door or the broken window on the other side of the room roughly 40 feet away.” You decide to take the open window option since it is already open. You attempt to straighten yourself from your quaking legs and try to take a stance to get ready to rush out. “ Plan is s-s-short and simple, just run straight ahead and find somewhere safe, ok? Ok!" You begin to gather yourself but, right before you make your move….
*The beast shifts again and stands up.*
"Gasp hugghhh…" The sudden movement from the beast made you shut your eyes and freeze in place out of fear, hoping it didn’t sense you. Â
 * *sniff* *sniff* *inhale* *growl gurgle*... the beast takes a deep whiff in the air, and then puts its face towards the floor. Its stomach growls from some mysterious scent. Something smells good.*
You open your eyes slightly, squinting through the crack in response to the sounds. The beast stands in the middle facing to the left of you so you can see one side of its face. Its face is a little clearer now, it seems to have a strong jaw and a wide snout with a rounded nose which only means it has a good sense of…smell... “Uh oh… did I take too long? D-Did it catch my s-s-scent?" Your throat and mouth feels dry when you try to swallow in fear, sweat beading on your temples going down your neck, your heart drumming in your ears. Your precious view of the exit escapes.
*It moves towards the front of the cabin away from the wardrobe, It walks over to where the table once was. *
“Nooo… the exit…” You subconsciously bite your knuckles in nervousness, hoping it does not turn around or better, it just leaves. “Please, please, please, please just leave!” You pray for a miracle. You watch it sniffing the ground more intently like it found something. Then you look down to the floor and see pale bluish blood from all their fighting, but you also see something else on the floor…
*The beast lowers its head to the ground getting closer to the spot where you once were. It sniffs and then licks the ground, giving whatever it was a taste.*
At first, you thought it was weird for it to do that. Why would it do something like that? ... Your confusion was answered when the realization hit you. “Is that… blood… its tasting? Is that?… is that when the… *gasp* glass!” You look at the bright red blood streaked along your arm and look back at the ground. Trailing across the floor you realized; it is no mistake, the color matches. Your heart sinks to the ground, without realizing your body falls back down on your butt with a soft thud from quaking legs unable to keep you standing. “That’s m-mine!?” You wish you can just disappear.
* The beast scoffs and searches the area, licking a couple more drops that were there, seemingly wanting more. It starts to follow the trail of droplets towards the wardrobe, licking each drop it finds, it can now recognize the scent. Then licking its lips as it walks slowly and cautiously, almost limping towards the back. It took a lot of punishment from it's previous battle and it aches to walk.*
Wide eyed from the scene unfolding, you look down at the blood trail and follow it from where it started leading straight to you. Right when you thought you could calm down a little and hoped it would leave, your breath quickens again, you swallow hard, your body trembles as you realize that the beast will follow the trail with you at the end of it in about one minute.
"How could I have missed my own blood trail!? Oh no! *gulp* I think I only have one chance now…. I-I-I-I have to take it down and escape, It is blocking the only exit… maybe I can at least cause enough damage for it to not chase me? I did not sign up for this!" You thought to yourself. You remember how another one of those things wasn't even able to take it down, this seems like a suicide mission. You look down at the only thing that can do any damage, your beautiful sword. “What am I going to do with this?! Cannot believe I’m about to do this… Please just let this be done quickly…” You clench your sword tightly and ready to jump out. You look out the wardrobe one more time.
*The monster suddenly stops in the middle of the room, holding its head with one of its large paws and grunts in pain as if it has a headache. It sits for a moment to catch its breath. Licks its wounds in the process. It looks down and holds its head feverishly*
You do not question it, this is it! You stand up straight and take two deep breaths "In, Out, In, Out.... In," you take a second to remember your short training sessions back at the camp and hope there was some fighting tactic that stuck with you. You remember signing up for a guard position in this village so that you can help protect it. Now you're fighting for your life and not able to protect anyone. You're failing at your one job and you're now backed up in a wardrobe visibly trembling. Your only thought now is to hit it with the pointed end and escape as you take a stance. All the bravado and enthusiasm to fulfill something in life had whittled down to instincts and survival. You at least resolve yourself to give it your all and try, you will not give up just yet. With that you swallow your fear and jump out!
You burst out of the wardrobe running straight to the beast! "HIYAAAaAAAGHHHHHHH!” letting out some sort of battle cry halfway to it with your sword raised. The beast had its tail partially curled in front of it trying to steady itself when it had stopped. You caught it looking down, licking its hind leg. You get close enough to it and swing your sword for a wide horizontal slash to the front of its tail, leaving it with a long gash about 3 feet long from the side almost to the tip of its tail.
*The beast heard the sound of doors bashing open; it was in the middle of tending to a wound off guard before focusing its view on the middle-aged man a little too late. It was surprising to see something else in the room; it was not ready for whatever was coming out of the wardrobe. The man screamed and ran towards it quickly closing the gap and swung horizontally with his sword. When the sword connected it screeched in agony, whipping its tail backwards on instinct, leaving its front exposed to the man. It roars and snarls at the man trying to intimidate it but the man was already close enough for a lunge towards its head. The man jumped up a remarkable height and went for the head, the beast instinctively tried to dodge by moving its head higher, as it noticed that the thing it was holding was hurtful. Sitting up on its hind legs, and tilted its head back to avoid the point from hitting its chin. It tilted too far backwards and could not catch itself before tripping on its own tail and falling on its back with a hard boom, rocking the cabin some more. *Reeeeeaaaaaaaa* The beast felt a thump on its chest and looked up to find the man had jumped high enough to land on its chest with its sword raised. The beast was in its final instincts to survive. *
Your sneak attack worked better than you thought and managed to make the monster lose its balance and fall to the ground, epically landing on top of its chest after your lunge. You feel like you got this as you flip the blade around in your hand and aim to go for the killing stab to the head. "YYYAahhhhhh!" with a final yell you plunge the blade with full force towards its head! Right before it connected, the beast raises its head with an open mouth and catches the blade with its teeth, tilting its head sideways enough to avoid the pointed end piercing its mouth or tongue and holding the blade from the flat part in between its four short fangs, halting it from going deeper. You try to shake it free and push it in some more.
*The beast winces and shuts its eyes in pain from the blade cutting up its mouth.*
"Come on die already! ggrrrArrrggghhh let go of the sword!"Â You try to step forward and with two hands to put more pressure. The blade slides a little bit further, cutting more at the monsters gums and lips. You felt the blade budge a little more and then suddenly it stops.
*The beast holds its grip on the blade, opens one eye to peer at its assailant and felt rage.*
You realize you were about two feet away from its face as it looks at you with narrow eyes. You took your attention away from the blade for a second and gasped at its glaring eyes searing with rage, swirling black miasma and a dark pupil at the center of it. Then your world shifted sideways. Like some kind of mma maneuver, the monster turns its body to the side, rolling a 180°, reversing your positions. "Gahhhh no way! No no no! Don’t turn over. Why won't you just die!" Now you find yourself slightly lifted from the ground with it looming over you. You hold onto your blade for dear life with an iron grip, not letting go. You are at a weird angle and your feet dangles with no leverage, when a giant paw pushes down on you with a hard thump. "Wooah OOF! ...." making you winded then landing on your back. Then the monster pulls its head up, easily ripping your fingers apart from the blade, forces you to the ground and separating you from the only chance you had. "How is this thing so smart!?"
You take a breath to fill your lungs back up from that attack and try to get up to your feet. You look behind you at the exit and try to scramble up to make a run for it. "Gasp!..*Thud* OOF ", while half way up you get slammed in the abdomen and hit the ground again.
*The beast looks down at the human with the sword in its mouth and growls as if it has won… again.... It looms closer to the man and growls even louder.*
You get a close up view of its strong jaws, its somewhat dull fangs and teeth; It is clearly not an herbivore. You can see that its tongue and mouth has a bluish hue and its tongue being a little more blue and darker. A wide snout for smelling and sensing pray and Its thick short furred paws, pressing more and more into your legs and abdomen. "Haaagghhhhhnnnnnnn, get... off.. too hea...hhheavyyy...” You gasp from its weight pushing the air out of your lungs again. You use your arms to try to push off its big paws to at least breathe a little easier but then Its claws dig into you a little bit, making you firmly pinned, "Haaahhhhggrhhh! What kind of thing… is this?! This is no beast I’ve ever seen, this is some kind of monster!!" Â
*The monster snarls louder* * "Grrrrrghhhhhaahhhh" *
As it got louder it started to bite harder on the blade, bending it in a way it shouldn’t, you hear the sound of the blade bending and cracking on the part where the fangs are meeting. "No my sword! nooooo~" With a hard forced breath you try to go for the sword again since it's almost close enough for you to reach the handle, "Nghhnnnnooooo not the sword please!" You try to go for it and reach out your right hand for the handle and before you touch it, the pressure from its strong jaws shatters the sword into four pieces, the hilt and all separating, falling to your sides. You watch the sharp pieces fall, covering your face out of reflex.
You watch the last piece fall away along with all of your gusto and bravery “no... you... monster!" All your blood drains from your face and body as your view is nothing but the monster's soul piercing narrow dark eyes, full of rage and exhaustion. It’s snarling teeth get extremely close so that you can feel its breath. The monster then rears back a little and takes a deep breath, “ughhh...urk" you try to prepare for the worst and instinctively curl up, close your eyes and cover your face with your arms as it lets out the loudest ear piercing roar that you have ever heard straight to your face.
*" ROOOAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" *
A long bellowing screech making your ears ring and shake your whole world, it feels like an earthquake. Your head spins and you cannot even take a breath because the only air around you is from the monsters' breath. A roar so disorienting that you did not notice it had pinned down your left leg and your right arm with its two front paws, almost crushing it with its weight. You can feel your blood circulation being restricted, it spreads your legs and arms out so that you can’t curl yourself back, forcing you to open your eyes from this movement and face the monster's wide open mouth.
Ears ringing, all you saw was the monster's top and bottom fangs precariously close to your head, the same fangs that shattered your beautifully crafted steel sword like a stick into pieces. You cannot imagine what it could do to your less metallic head. You relapse in terror as you see the back of its throat vibrating from the roar. You peer deep into its maw, its long muscular and slenderish tongue that seems to flex with ease with the tip being rounded and slightly forked, like a lizard's tongue, all with a strange dark bluish hue. Its breath finally starting to wane, its roar ending with an exhausted pant with its mouth still partially open letting you still see everything.
Body palpitating and quivering, its roar cease and you try to open your mouth for help, "ahhh__!!! " your scream is caught in your throat as you are utterly petrified, this monster is dominating you with no hope left for you to escape. When the monster stopped roaring and was panting, hysteria followed. "gasp... gasp...uhhghh, AAAARRRRGHHHHHHH HHHUUUHHH huHhAAAAA" your turn to scream at the top of your lungs, thrashing and pushing at its paws to get free but the weight is too much, the more you move the more the monster bares its weight on you. You can feel it in your elbow and knee joints the most.
*"Grrrrrrrrrrrhhhhh ssssssssss"*
A deep growl and a hiss from within the monster's throat is heard, snarling its teeth at you and salivating a little bit, it stares at you, It is sort of saying, *“It is futile to escape, you have nowhere to run.”* Your arm and leg can’t handle any more pressure from its palm, it’s on the verge of snapping. "UUUGHHHHHHHHHH gahhhhhhhhh huhhh huhhh" the rack from its pressure is almost unbearable, you stop thrashing to be careful from snapping it yourself. As you slow down the pressure on your limbs lessened just a bit so it will not snap but still firmly pinned. You start to hyperventilate and cry as you look up with teary eyes in horror. Your voice caught in your throat, making deep sobbing sounds.
All you see before you now is all the ways this thing is going to kill you, every scene you imagine is worse than the last. Being crushed by its huge paws, ripped apart by its claws? Slowly strangled by its giant tail like it did to the other monster knowing you have no chance on getting out of it. Just a whip from its enormous tail can send you hurling through a door. Then the monster moves again. *gasp*___ "Nooooo!! Don’t kill me!"
*The monster looms closer to the man, with rage full eyes, growling fiercely. It suddenly stops and takes a deep sniff at the man’s defeated body. Its inhale ruffles the man’s hair a bit, trying to figure out what he is. It pants from exhaustion as it analyses. Though all the man’s screaming and thrashing, It does not see him as a threat anymore and relaxes a bit.*
You can feel every breath it takes over your whole body. You turn your head away and shut your eyes tight hoping it doesn't do anything. Then it pulls its head back again. It then lays down on all fours trying to relax its exhausted body with a big heavy whoosh as it plops down, while still holding you in place but also relieving more pressure from your leg and arm. It relaxes it's badly wounded tail, still bleeding, coating the floor with its bluish ooze. When its tail dropped to the ground it made a deep grunt sound that could only mean that it is in horrible pain. It unintentionally flashed its teeth from pain and tense its whole body causing it to extend its claws while you are underneath it. One claw extended just barely missed your face. When you opened your eyes, you saw its claw just inches from your face digging into the floor beside you. “!!!!!!” At the same time you feel a slight relief from your limbs from almost breaking, but still cannot get out of its monstrous grip. A million thoughts keep rushing to your head so fast that you’re starting to feel dizzy. Your panic continues as did your despairing thoughts; biting you in half? clawing you to death?... or even worse... as you are in maximum fight or flight mode and all the adrenaline is pumping into your heart, its beating so hard that you can hear it in your ears, everything causing you to hyperventilate more, making you feel more light headed. You feel like a hopeless trapped mouse being pinned down by a predator. “P-P-Please let me go…*sob* .”
*The monster keeps sniffing for a couple more seconds and then suddenly stops and sticks out its long dark and pale blue tongue*
You shudder as it finally dawns on you what’s about to happen, the worst way to die. A slow, dark, slick... death. You struggle and clench your whole body. "No.... why... Noo.. arrrggghhh___ mmrrughhh!!"
*The monster dragged its tongue across the man’s whole body and over its face muffling the man’s cries, slowly, then pulling it back into its mouth. Savoring. It looks down at the man a little closer and does it again. The monster licks the man’s whole body starting from its lower half with its moist and smooth tongue, coating the man’s clothes with saliva, it licks up to its chin. It tastes the blood and licks its chops, feeling content as it recognizes the taste.*
There is nothing you can do but watch in dismay and disgust as its slick tongue slips back into its mouth becoming... hungrier... it hasn't killed you yet because It’s going to eat you....alive. That was the last rational thought that you had before you snapped and lost all control of anything humane, bursting out in animalistic screams and hysteria. "Nooooo it can't end this way! NOO! *wheeze* NOO! *wheeze* NOOO! NO! AArhGGHHHH ____ ghaa !”Â
*Â Its maw opens wider and brings out more of its endless tongue, deciding what you really are... delicious. *
 * Ignoring the man’s desperate cries, it licks more of its prey, with a satisfying deep purr, finding that this man is very tasteful. Its tongue slithers around the man's torso and neck, savoring the blood it finds on the way there. As it wraps its tongue around the man, it finds the source of where the blood was coming from and goes for it. Its neck.*
You feel its smooth and wet tongue easily slide its way around your torso. You shudder in disgust at how slimy and warm it feels against your skin. Like a thick slimy worm, that gropes your body. You fight to pull it away with your free hand but it slips between your fingers and coils around your chest anyway. While trying to push it away from your torso, your hand almost got pinned by its coiling but you quickly pulled it out before it was completely engulfed. "ghhh Ahhhhhhhhh" It's too late to unwind it from your torso now. It is slowly slithering to your neck, with every coil of its grotesque tongue, the thicker the coils became around your chest making it harder to breathe. You fight with all your might, kicking with one leg and trying to shift yourself in any way possible to stop it from going around your neck to no avail.
*There was no faze in the monster’s eyes by the man's struggles and slowly slithers its tongue from behind the man's neck, coiling more and brushes up against the mediocre-bandaged wound that still has blood seeping through and rubs against it. The blood tastes so good that it just wants to relish in it. *
Suddenly the whole tongue tightens, constricting your torso and your neck, choking. You try to pull it away with your free hand again but it's still too slippery and you can only manage to barely grip the edge of its tongue to not let it completely cut your circulation around your neck. It is hopeless as the long tongue grossly slides back and forth between your hand and your neck, holding your breath, making it difficult to breath. You try to protest and scream but your whole world is being snuffed out. "Gakk! KArrrr, h..heelpp *gasp* …elp! kkkaghhh___" Your foot thumps the ground, uselessly kicking the air for mercy. You manage to relieve a little pressure in the front of your neck by slipping your fingers in between your neck and the monster's thick tongue. There isn't much else you can do but fight for your life.
*The monster does this a couple more times, slowly tasting more of the prey in its clutches. It pulls back its tongue, unwinding out from behind him. Returning into its mouth closing its jaw. A loud gulp is heard. Swallowing the strange saliva and blood.*
It seems to be enjoying this and takes its time before devouring you while you dread.
You start to feel faint from the lack of oxygen, utter terror and pain. It is practically strangling you. It feels like hours have gone by. Like a snake constricting its prey until it stops breathing. Except this monster is just licking your blood and torturing you as it tastes. You gasp and cough for air when it retracted its tongue. You don't know how much longer you can hold out. Your vision blurs, your throat and chest burns. Your strength is depleted. “Ughhhhh….”Â
* While It licks its chops and snout with its odd blue tongue, it looks at the man and pauses. Glaring at the man as he struggles in its grasp. The man got quite and isn't moving as much*
After the 3rd time, some sharp breaths shortly brings you back from vertigo. You glance at your shoulder where the wound was and saw that It had licked clean the blood that trailed your arm and wound. You stop struggling for a moment and let your arm fall. There isn't enough oxygen in your brain to stop the dizziness. You take your eyes off of the monster for a moment and just stare blankly to the side and noticed the bandage has fallen off and left completely coated in saliva, the wound seems to have reopened and starts to drip a little blood down your arm again.---- " Gallkk aarghhh noooo..*gasp* *pant*ughhh… *gulp* " The tongue strikes again, the same spot but this time more of it wrapping around your neck and shoulders, with a ravaging hunger than before, you try to struggle with whatever effort you have left to stop it from completely strangling you but you have almost no strength left to fight. It squeezes, "Gasp, uhghhh aakkk kk GAAAHHHKKK " you try to let out a yell or take in a breath, the pain surges through your neck. Blood pumps in your head like a beating drum as you uselessly claw at its slippery snake like tongue. The pressure is overbearing! Nothing but exasperated sounds escape from your constricted throat as you struggle even more trying to free yourself from its grasp but it’s no use. Your exhausted, your strength is drained and you no longer have a grip on its tongue, losing the little leverage you had for air, allowing it to completely cease you. It burns! your eyes streaked with tears and the aching pain your neck and chest feels makes you slowly lose consciousness. The pressure racks your mind and body and overwhelms you. Your arms feel like tingling lead and drops, twitching on the ground. Your eyes roll without control as darkness clouds your vision, bubbly foam comes out your mouth. Breathing stops for a moment as does the pain, this is it, dying to a monster's tongue, was your last thought before it completely goes black... You pray and wish for this nightmare to end.

Nightmare Fields - Part One (re uploaded)
Haven't written in a long long long time. So... came a long way from where I was.... who I was.. and decided to embrace a side of me that I never thought I ever would have.... Here is my first ever vore short story. Part one to a short story ( not so short). attempted some minor grammar fixes. Contains; blood, violence, vore mention, torture, fearplay, eventually fatal vore and maybe hard vore.
Fear. The most stubborn and feral feeling that almost all living creatures are born with. It is a universal feeling and a language that all creatures can understand. Some say fear can be so strong that someone with high senses can smell it emanating from their body. Is it in the sweat from the brow or the palms? Can they sense their temperature when it's cold or hot? To a human it does not seem like they can do that, but some creatures as beasts and monsters can...
You look down at your hands, sweaty right hand tightly holding a broadsword, sharp, embroidered with silver at the hilt, and passed down from your older generation, quite a beautiful blade. A sweaty left hand in a fist with enough sweat pooled inside that it is on the verge of dripping. In the distance, you can hear horrifying shrieking sounds from people, running terrified. Another sound that you hear is one that you never heard before, a monstrous sound of nightmares. They sound like a combination of a deep roar and a shriek. Loud, bellowing and terrifying. You are not sure what to do as you hide in a wide cabin that has a lot of room and windows towards the front and sides so you can see out in the distance. Right now, ducked under a windowsill, you peek over to see if there are any of those... things out there. You look outside with one eye peeking out from the corner of the window, you see one creature off in the distance at the outskirts of the woods, maybe about 40 or 50 yards away, they have this light brown almost tannish fur that is short, pale white skin and kind of have the form of a , feline sort of? With a long tail that seems unproportioned to its body, it is thick and long like a giant tube, almost like a chimera but not quite, they do not have the lion head with goat horns or super sharp claws or snake for a tail but they have the body as if they would. Although their tail has some kind of resemblance of a giant snake but there is no head. Just really big, muscular and kind of scaly on the base and the tip of it. They walk on four legs; have paws like a big cat but a bit more... opposable? In addition, claws seem a bit duller but still sharp enough to tear things; some creatures even seem to have wings shaped somewhat like bats that can somehow fly their huge forms to the skies. Not to mention they're pretty big! Some have different features than the others, you cannot make out much from here but you can see the obvious things such as them have different sizes. Some can be twice or six times the size of bears. You shiver a bit at how many there are and then sit back down near the windowsill away from the windows view to think as you tighten your grip on your sword.
"Think, think, what do I do, we don't even know what these things do yet but that screech didn't sound like a friendly hello, not to mention their huge! like a giant bear huge! Plus there are so many! Hmm, let me check one more time if there are any heading this way."
You do a quick peek again through the same window, you see them coming out from the same forest edge, "what is in that direction? Could there be something out there?" You are not in the best position to be in either since they are heading towards your direction, so far you only seen about seven of them go pass your cabin into the small village from a skew angle.
You sit back down for the final time and your mind is boggling to come up with a solution or direction to your predicament. So far, none of them has noticed you so you try to slow your breath, wipe some of the sweat off from your palms and brow and try to think a little more calmly. "Maybe we're overreacting, maybe they're friendly? Are these the strange creatures the soldiers were talking about that suddenly appeared a month ago? "
*thump thump BOOM*
“Huh?” Before you got to stand up to hear what that stomping sound was from outside...
*CRASH*
The window about 10 feet to your right shatters! Sharp glass flies everywhere. You instinctively shield your eyes and face from stray glass shards as you gasp in sudden surprise. "GAHHH!--" a short scream escaped from your mouth before you could react to covering it. Instincts are faster than reaction at times. You duck underneath a table with a candle on top of it and try to quiet yourself enough to see and hear rationally. You look up and see two of those things ravaging at each other. Their fighting each other for some reason, "what on earth is happening!?” before your second thought, they start clawing and crying out in pain from each other’s attacks. They are ferociously hissing, snarls and roaring at each other all throughout the cabin. *KRReeeeee* One got bit and cried out in pain. They push and bite at each other, using their long, unnaturally thick tails to wrap each other’s torso and neck. “They are trying to strangle each other!” One of the monsters had its back turned towards you as it faced the other. You noticed it had some sort of ring shape on its back, kind of like a tattoo birthmark, this ring has a couple slashes on it so the ring is not complete, more like the letter C than an O. *The beast with the ring torn up had the other beast pinned down. You can hear the pinned beast gasping and coughing for air as the dominating beast had its paw on its throat firmly pressed. *GRRRAAHHHRRkkk* It growls in pain as they wrestle at each other rolling around and knocking things over. Tables are flipped, their claws scrape floors, chairs are easily crushed by their weight, and when they rolled up against the wall, a big BANG echoed throughout the cabin and the whole house shook with a huge shuttering noise. It rang so loud that the ceiling clattered and dust from the ceiling beams snowed down.    Â
You seem to be in a bad spot from their brawling so you cease the opportunity to run to a wardrobe that you saw towards the back of the room. It would be great to get out but it's too dangerous to pass by them to get to the other side where the only exit is. You might take a hit with a stray tail whip or claw if you get up for the door, so your best bet for now is to wait it out and find an opening to either take them out or run away. Right now, your safety is the priority. Without much more thinking, you take a deep breath, got up quickly and as quiet as you could, ran to the wardrobe and sat inside silently with a little crack through the double doors just enough to peek out with one eye and see them, they’re so focused on their fight that they didn't see you run towards the back.
Heart pounding in your ears. "Ok they haven’t seen me yet, I still have my body intact, not even a scratch from the glass...guuughhhh" You spoke too soon, while you were checking yourself, your shoulder brushed up against some hanging clothes in the wardrobe, you looked at your left hand and noticed a trail of blood running down your arm, dripping to the floor. There is a small shard of glass protruding from (for the lack of better anatomy terms) the meaty part of your neck, luckily, it did not hit a vital artery and it was just your flesh and skin, plus it was not in too deep and it did not really hurt until you noticed it. The sudden adrenaline dulls a lot of the pain, but since you are sort of out of harm’s way momentary, you realized a sharp burning pain from it. You quietly and gently, without sound, put your sword down use your right hand to take out the shard. Your right hand brushed up against the shard of glass not too much bigger than your pinky finger, "gahh this hurts so much, maybe if I take it out?" As soon as you pulled a little bit out, more blood started to trickle from the wound down your arm and your back. A lot of it got soaked up into your worn out shirt and pants, you wince and grit your teeth in pain as you pulled the rest of the little shard out causing more blood to ooze down your arm and onto the floor. "Hrnnsssssss.” You hiss through your teeth in pain, once it is out you let out a sigh of relief.
*Crash*
You hear another piece of furniture breaking, you peek out again, this time wide eyed at what you just saw; a wooden leg of the table you were hiding under falls near you, giving a shiver from your spine going up to your head. When you look around you find the rest of the table flung across the room by those beasts still going at it. It is not safe. You quickly find some scraps of cloth in the wardrobe and tie your shoulder and part of your neck to stop the blood. There was a loud screeching going on in the background as you bandage yourself faster in fear that they might get closer.    Â
*The beasts are rolling around trying to best each other at getting the upper hand. They pounce and scratch at each other. One of the beasts with the slashed back finally caught the other by the torso with its tail wrapped around it while the other one tried to struggle free. The beast with the slashed back seemed a little bigger than the other one. The second beast is now on the ground with the bigger one on top of it trying to strangle it with its tail. Its tail slithered its way around the smaller beast’s neck and torso, choking. It gasps for breath while the bigger one also pins down its front and hind legs leaving the second beast with little room to move.* You can hear it growling and struggling on the ground, it roars at its attacker but then the roar gets cut short as it get its neck tightened. You peak through the crack again while bandaging and see the bigger beast has its face close to the other one, eyeing it to make sure it does not do any more attacks while it tightens its grip around with its tail. Like an anaconda, squeezing the life out of its prey in order to devour it half alive. You can only watch in horror as the life is being crushed in front of you. Giving you shivers as you quickly look away to finish what you started. "Grrraahhh...ackk---grrrrrrr" you can still hear It trying to fight it off. * The second beast manages to shake its hind legs free and kicks the bigger one in its abdomen. It pushes and forces all its strength in the abdomen, digging its claw in with one leg. This loosened the grip around its neck enough for it to take a breath for oxygen, giving it enough energy to completely send it flying off it with one more strong push. The bigger one got hurled and summersault before landing with a huge thump sound near the wardrobe your hiding in. The smaller beast managed to free itself, hissing at the other beast before it turns around and flees out the same window it came from.*     Â

After you finished bandaging, you hear a big bang followed by hissing and a snarl from one of the monsters right outside the wardrobe, it was loud and sounded very close, the sudden sound made you jump a little and you quickly pick your sword back up making a slight clanging noise forgetting how stealthy your status should be. You peek outside again, your heart skipped a beat when you see the shadow of the beast looming over you right outside the wardrobe. You see a clear view of its back and see the ring close up, it has a dull glow , it got its ring severed and has pale bluish blood trickling down its back and onto the floor. It stands up, breathes in and roars at the other beast, a deep roar that gives you goosebumps. You catch a glimpse of the other one leaving the house through the window. The roar was close enough to make your ears ring immensely and you try to cover one ear with your free hand in an attempt to minimize the shrill sound.
*The beast arches its back, its back hairs standing on end and it's large, over-proportioned tail in a big arc above it, almost touching the ceiling, making it seem bigger than it is to the other beast as a way of intimidation.*
The act of intimidation has you visibly trembling all around your body. You cannot seem to control it. You try to hold yourself from the uncontrollable shaking. You take an unsteady deep breath, letting out a shaky sigh as quietly as you can, then take another breath, this time it comes out as a whimper involuntarily. The amount of terror that is happening right outside this wardrobe is petrifying. The only thing keeping you from facing this certain doom is an old wooden door. You try not to think about it and cover your mouth…
*The beast is just standing there all beat up and seems like it is about to tip over. Panting for breath, shaking in pain, it moves to the right of the wardrobe and sits down.*
Just out of your field of view, you can see its tail relax a little and seem to curl its tail around itself. You shift a little to the left without opening the door more to try to see it a little clearer but you can only see its tail and half its back towards you.
It seems like their battle is over with a standing or rather sitting champion. Although the beast is covered in wounds. The good news is that now there is one less beast to deal with. The winner here is certainly not you since you are still trapped in a wardrobe with the champion in the same room just feet away from you, which is the bad news. As scary as it is, you have not given up yet, maybe it is your chance to kill it while it's weakened or run from it since it looks exhausted and beaten up. All this time you had your breath held in your lungs and started to feel a tiny bit light headed from not breathing. You let out a breath a little quicker than you should have and you’re afraid that the beast may hear the sound since it’s so close. It still did not seem to notice since it was still sitting there. “Hahaha… kill it? That thing looks like it can shred anything in seconds… what am I thinking?” you thought to yourself. Your situation is a little bit better than before but you saw what it could do.... it may not be so good after all. You’re sort of now stuck in a situation to either fight or flight right now. If you hang around it might find you or it might not, but if you try to run it will definitely see you and might attack you, or it might get startled at the surprise giving you the chance to escape in hopes it will not chase you. As you weigh your options, you hear sounds to your right from the beast. It sort of makes some kind of grunting sounds and some slight shifting. You can hear some kind of wet sound that sounds maybe familiar, like an animal. “Huh? Is it licking itself? “
*The monster licks its wounds to stop the bleeding in its legs and its lower back. *
“Maybe it’s trying to reach its back where the claw mark on its ring was left, it looked pretty bad. The growls and grunts it’s making sounds like it’s extremely painful.” It is now or never, you must make a decision.
