But when they do catch the tiny's gaze, it's just a wide, tearful stare. Their eyes focus on the giants hands to see if they'll hurt them. Looking at the giant's eyes to gauge their emotions, to see if there's any intent behind them.

The giant doesn't expect, nor want this reaction. whether this tiny is a stranger or a friend, the fact that they are viewed as an instrument of destruction rather than a real living thing pains them.

I sometimes have to use a magnifying glass at work (construction workers writing very tiny on plans whoch i have to decode) and tbh it always gives me such g/t feels.

Just, imagine. Giant finds injured tiny and has to look for injuries. Holding a creature so small is already overwhelming, but with the magnifying glass revealing the detail of their clothing, their skin, their limbs? The giant forget their task for a moment, just to inspect the tiny in front of them.

Also, from a tiny perspective, it'd ofc would be even more terrifiyng. The giant's face is already twice as big as their whole body, but now their giant eye is even bigger, staring, watching, all-encommassing. The tiny cannot hide anymore as their are studied by an ocean of white.

Fidgety Giants

So I’ve seen this mentioned a few times, but I just love it so much I have to talk about it!

So there are many ways this could go cause there many ways to fidget with things

A giant gently pinching a tinies limbs between their thumb and forefinger and gently rubbing it, slowly moving from one limb to another. Gently petting the tiny’s hair with their fingers. Then, there’s the potential fearplay. Throwing the tiny into the air and catching them, over and over again. Tilting the hand they’re on so they roll from one hand onto another. Maybe squeezing their limbs a little to harshly during the thing I mentioned before. Doing pen tricks, but the tiny replaces the pen.

Idk, I might write both of these scenarios at some point for the hell of it.

another trope i love;

tinies lying about being afraid of giants. Maybe a tiny and a giant are friends, and the giant thinks they're all good!!! they're friends and their tiny buddy doesn't fear them anymore!!

Little do they know the tiny is sort of terrified of them still. Maybe it's not them specifically but someone or something so much bigger than themselves..

They probably lie because they dont want to hurt their feelings, and they DO cherish the relationship. They dont want to let their displaced fear get in the way of everything.

One day, it'll come to light. Maybe a flinch or a strange request to 'not hurt them', something so small that means so much in the moment, it's so telling.
