Hi hey hello halloween was 2 days ago so here are my southpark halloween headcanons cuz im a spooky gremlin all year (Possible part 1 cuz i write alot and idk if tumblr has a word limit)👍
Cartman:
His costume is either really extra or really basic because he forgot until last minute.
Its usually inflateable like a dinosaur, pizza or...other things.
Usually the one to pick the route they go on when trick or treating so he can get the most candy, but it backfires because of all the walking.
The type of mf to eat his candy while hes out trick or treating (me too, i get it)
He steals the entire take 1 bowl you cant change my mind. Also the type to grab aggressive fistfuls when someone says to just take one or two pieces of candy
Thinks haybales and haunted houses are gay
Will throw fake decorations at you as a joke, but the realistic ones that make you yell (severed hands, bugs, etc)
His house isnt that decorated since i KNOW Liane is the cool mom who gives out full sized candy bars but its the inside that counts
Takes pumpkin carving VERY seriously. But doesnt do that much, or he tries and gives up.
A dumbass when it comes to candy trading. Always falls for the tricks Kyles got
Kyle:
I love kyle, but you know hes dressing up as the most basic things every year...hes TRYING THO HES TRYING
Takes Ike with the boys when hes old enough
Tries to match costumes with Stan but stan always forgets
The BEST at carving pumpkins. Gut feeling Kyle is an art kid.
Thinks haybales are gay but is "ironically" scared of haunted houses
His mom is extra with decorations. You just know it
Secretly takes 3 pieces of candy from a take 1 bowl
Gives what he cant have to Stan since he cant eat pork n gelatin has pork in it 👍
Cartman tried nabbing his candy once and he whacked him with the candy filled pillow case he had
Expert candy tracker. That man knows which house has what and he is ON IT
Nightmare before christmas enjoyer, will i explain? No
Stan:
Hes like Kyle with the basic costume thing, just worse. Way worse
He is a ghost...almost every single year cuz he forgets to go costume shopping and he just says "fuck it" and uses a white bedsheet
Takes what he can get; he knows Shelleys gonna steal his shit anyway
That doesnt stop him from trying to hide it
Likes haybales but TERRIFIED of haunted houses he will NOT get in one
Mediocre pumpkin carver at best
His house aint decorated nor does it have candy cuz of randys ass. Forgetful ahh
Kenny:
Cant really afford costumes so stan, kyle and cartman help him DIY costumes
Also the kind of mf to grab the entire take 1 bowl
Makes it his MISSION to get all the candy he can get
Kinda eh on Haybsles, LOVES haunted houses
His house is never decorated, his family cant afford that
Good at candy trading cuz he can do puppy eyes
Really good at pumpkin carving, he just cant be the one getting the pumpkins.
Horror movie FANATIC!!! HE LOVES HORROR MOVIES!!!
He dies a lot that day very sad for him
Butters:
Rarely aloud to go out trick or treating, mans is ALWAYS grounded
When he CAN go out he cant ever stay out late which sucks so much
His costume is always something cute/creative, bro would probably go as like, an oc of his one year (projecting so hard i did this in the 4th or 5th grade)
Gets people to check his candy for him, hes scared of getting hurt or poisoned
Wants to go to the houses that have fruit or toothbrushes. It always goes like:
"Can we go to Ms Firkles house?" "The one that gives out apples?" "Yeah!" "Fuck is wrong with you?"
Loves Haybales, thinks theyre so fun
TERRIFIED of haunted houses, will not even STAND in a 100 ft radius of a haunted house
Flinches/Cries/Screams whenever a halloween decoration jumpscares him or is too loud
Horrified of horror moves
Not allowed to carve pumpkins, too dangerous. But he likes painting them!
Obeys the "take 1/2/3" rule like a good boy
His house is decently decorated, nothing extravagant
Craig:
Oh you know he is a "this is my costume" mf
Either that or something space related
Always the first in front in his group (Tweek, Tolkien, Clyde, Jimmy and Himself) cuz hes pretty unphased by everything
Loves carving pumpkins, him and tweek do the cute pumpkin carving stuff couples do
Cant eat most of the candy since he has braces, but he gives it to Tweek so its not a waste
Will hold Tweeks hand during horror movies, haunted houses and haybales.
A six flags fright fest enjoyer
This mf will look you dead in the eye and pour an entire bowl of candy into his bag if there arent any cameras or signs
The kind of mf to joke inside a ghost tour and purposefully try to piss off the ghost by flipping it off
The most undecorated house ever. Its like halloween doesnt exist to the Tuckers
Tweek:
He buys cool costumes but his makeup is so shaky and rushed since his ass cant sit still
Chugging pumpkin spice like a maniac
Terrified of any and all halloween activities. Jumpscare him and he will scream
Doesnt take candy from people or bowls, he stands awkwardly behind everyone and investigates his candy thoroughly before putting it in the bag
Either that or he'll have craig triple check it
His house is always decorated since Tweek Bros always has halloween specials and stuff
Does not sleep for the entire month of halloween, he survives on pumpkin spice and pure anxiety
Helps around the coffee shop by refilling candy bowls and doing halloween chalkboards (they look like scribbled messes but whatever)
The middle man in the group, he doesnt feel safe in the front or back
Carries Pepper spray with him when trick or treating, always very cautious to the point his friends grill him for it a little. Better safe than sorry
Clinging onto Craig half the night, the insomnias getting to him
Legally not aloud to carve pumpkins. He will accidentally knick his fingers
Loves halloween baking though, he does burn at least something and panics.
Clyde:
Oh you know hes the kind of mf to dress up like the glow in the dark stickman
Grabs aggressive handfuls of candy regardless of if its from a bowl or person
An absolute crybaby. Will cry when he sees the decorations
They cant decorate his house since hes a baby
Likes the pumpkin carving tho!
Always runs to thr house with full sized candy bars
Jimmy:
He is def going as an inflateable t rex/banana
Tells more jokes to people in hopes of getting more candy
Carves a wee wee into his pumpkin. He thinks its funny
Pretends to be scared on haybales to make Clyde feel better
His house is the one with custom decorations its so great
Scary movie enthusiast, joking and calling the characters dumb the whole time
He. Fucking. Loves. Frightfest
Hc that when hes older hes a scare actor part time
Admires the decorations
Tolkien
Bro probably got like, a ren faire costume yk? Like a count or something
Tolkien just seems likke the guy to go to ren faire every year
Expert pumpkin carver
Takess his friends to halloween fairs every year
The most overdecorated house (rich kid core)
Always saying the thank yous and happy halloweens when noone else will
Bro printed out a map of their trick or treat route
He takes some of his friends to ren faire too. Craig thinks its gay as shit
Likes the haybales, and the shit rides at the halloween fairs
Creeped out by haunted houses tho

Embrace the Magic of Halloween: Traditions, Trends, and Fun Ideas for 2024
Halloween, celebrated on October 31st, is a time when magic, mystery, and imagination collide. Originally rooted in ancient Celtic traditions like Samhain, a festival marking the end of harvest season, it has since evolved into a global celebration full of costumes, spooky decor, and of course—candy! Whether you're a fan of spine-chilling horror or just looking for some lighthearted fun, Halloween offers something for everyone. Let’s dive into the best ways to celebrate Halloween in 2024, from classic traditions to fresh, creative ideas!
1. Halloween Traditions: A Time to Reconnect
Halloween brings a sense of nostalgia, reminding many of childhood memories spent trick-or-treating in colorful costumes or carving pumpkins with family and friends. Here are some beloved traditions you can embrace or reinvent this year:
Pumpkin Carving: A Halloween must! Whether you’re carving classic jack-o'-lanterns or creating intricate designs, this is an activity that brings out everyone's creativity. Try adding stencils for themed carvings or painting pumpkins for a twist.
Trick-or-Treating: The joy of going door to door for candy never gets old. While this tradition remains at the heart of Halloween, some neighborhoods have adopted "trunk-or-treating," where families decorate their car trunks and gather in parking lots to hand out candy.
Costume Parties: Dressing up is one of the best parts of Halloween! Whether you're hosting a party or attending one, let your imagination run wild. Costume trends for 2024 may lean heavily into pop culture characters or classic monsters, but don’t be afraid to create something totally unique.
2. 2024 Trends: What’s Hot This Halloween
Halloween continues to evolve with new trends and ideas emerging each year. Here’s what’s predicted to be big in 2024:
Sustainable Celebrations: People are becoming more conscious about waste, and Halloween is no exception. From using eco-friendly decorations to making costumes from recycled materials, sustainability is a key theme this year.
Virtual Spooky Experiences: With technology playing an ever-increasing role in our lives, virtual Halloween events are on the rise. From online haunted houses to virtual murder mystery parties, there are endless ways to celebrate with friends and family, no matter where they are.
Spooky Home Decor: In 2024, expect to see home decorations go beyond the typical fake cobwebs and skeletons. Think immersive yard displays, animated props, and light shows synced to eerie music, turning homes into full-on haunted spectacles.
3. Halloween Activities for All Ages
There’s more to Halloween than just candy and costumes! Here are some fun ideas for all ages to enjoy:
Halloween Movie Marathon: Whether you love classic horror films or family-friendly flicks, there’s no shortage of Halloween movies to get you in the spooky spirit. Classics like Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas, or even Halloween are perfect choices.
Spooky Scavenger Hunt: For kids, setting up a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt is a great way to add excitement. Hide small toys or treats around the house or yard and let them search for spooky treasures!
DIY Crafts and Decorations: Get creative by making your own Halloween decorations. From ghost garlands to creepy centerpieces, there’s no shortage of craft ideas to make your home feel festive.
4. Ghoulishly Good Treats
Halloween is as much about the food as it is about the frights! Here are a few ideas for ghoulishly delicious treats:
Candy Charcuterie Boards: Create a fun and festive candy board with an assortment of Halloween-themed sweets. Mix and match candies of different textures, colors, and shapes to create a mouth-watering display.
Spooky-Themed Snacks: Think "mummy hot dogs" wrapped in dough, monster cupcakes, or ghost-shaped cookies. Get creative with your Halloween snacks and involve the kids in the fun of making them.
Pumpkin Spice Everything: It wouldn’t be autumn without pumpkin spice! From lattes to muffins, this flavor takes over the season, and Halloween is the perfect time to indulge in everything pumpkin-flavored.
5. Halloween Safety Tips
While Halloween is all about fun, it’s important to keep safety in mind, especially when trick-or-treating:
Stay Visible: Make sure costumes have reflective materials or that children carry glow sticks or flashlights so they can be easily seen.
Costume Safety: Choose costumes that are flame-resistant and fit properly to avoid tripping. If wearing masks, ensure they allow for clear vision.
Check Candy: Before letting kids indulge, check their candy haul for any opened or suspicious-looking items.
6. Making Halloween Your Own
While Halloween has its timeless traditions, it's also a time for creativity and personal expression. Whether you're diving into new trends or sticking to the classics, the most important thing is to make Halloween your own. It’s a holiday where you can let loose, embrace your inner child, and have some spooky fun!
From haunted houses to festive parties, whether you love being scared or just enjoy the playful spirit of the season, Halloween offers endless ways to celebrate. So get your costume ready, stock up on candy, and get ready for a frightfully good time this Halloween!

CHILDISH
A/N: this turned out less halloween-y than i planned, but i think its still cute hehe
WORD COUNT: 1.5k
SUMMARY: It was supposed to be a perfect, cozy fall weekend. Right until you doubt whether you're the perfect fit for your older, successful boyfriend.
MASTERLIST | SUPPORT ME!
Tumblr media
There’s a pep in your steps as you walk out of the elevator on the top floor of Harry’s office building, carrying the lunch you made him and you’re dropping off for him now. You’re excited for tonight and this weekend, because it’s gonna be the perfect fall weekend. You’re having a cozy movie night tonight, watching Nightmare Before Christmas and Coco while eating caramel apples and popcorn, drinking hot chocolate and tomorrow you’re going to the pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins that you’ll carve later in the afternoon. It’s literally what every girl dreams of at the end of October and Harry is a partner in all of it even though you would have never guessed he’s the kind of man to do these things when you first met him years ago.
You know your way around the office well by now so when the two assistants sitting behind their desk spot you, none of them question who you are.
“Mr. Styles is in a meeting,” Riley says as you approach them.
“I know. I’m just dropping this off for him. Can you give it to him when he’s done? I made him lunch,” you smile bashfully as you set the bag with the containers in it onto the desk. You even put a cute little sticky note on top.
Can’t wait for tonight, hurry home to me! Bone appetite! Love you! Xx
You love the pun and you know Harry will too.
“Of course,” Riley nods with a smile.
“Alright. Thank you, have a nice day,” you smile back as you turn around and head back towards the elevator. You sink your hands into the deep pockets of your wool coat and wind the candy you showed in there, wanting to give it to Harry too, so you start walking back to the assistant, but before you could turn the corner you hear them talking.
“I know! This is so silly,” Riley laughs.
“Silly? More like ridiculous. Her boyfriend is the CEO and she is bringing him lunch with sticky notes,” the other assistant, Tina snorts.
“I never understood how he could date a woman like her. No, not even woman, she is a girl.”
“Have you seen her in that oversized jumper?”
“The rainbow colored one?”
“Yes! It’s hideous! I wouldn’t even dress my toddler in it. Harry is a billionaire, I don’t know how he puts up with her childishness.”
You chew on your bottom lip so harshly, it almost starts bleeding. Their words hurt and turning around you rush back to the elevator so you can leave as fast as possible.
It sends you down a spiral. Are you really that childish? You always knew Harry and you come from different worlds, but you thought they clash perfectly. He is a CEO, insanely successful, lives in a penthouse and is thirty-six years old while you just turned twenty-six. You were an art teacher until you switched, so now you design book covers, but you still teach a few classes in a private school, because you like the kids so much. You lived in a one bedroom apartment before moving in with Harry, which was the size of the bedroom you now share with him. You don’t wear designer clothes, you love thrift shopping and you tend to DIY anything and everything.
As you arrive back home, walking into the penthouse you take a look around. You still remember how it looked when you moved in two years ago, very clean and modern, like the cover of an architecture magazine. But now you see your own touch everywhere.
Colorful candles spattered on every possible surface, chunky blankets covering the grey couch along with a bunch of pillows, you’ve put up fall decoration here and there, making the place cozier and more like home instead of leaving it so sterile. Harry never said he finds your things childish, not even your extreme amount of funky mugs or your plants, all in different pots or random art you hung at every possible empty spot in the place. They are far from his taste, but these little things make the penthouse homey.
Or at least they did until now.
As you look around you only see how childish and ridiculous all this stuff looks in the expensive penthouse that was once Harry’s modern home. What if he hates all of them? If he finds them hideous, but he just doesn’t want to hurt your feelings.
He is a decade older than you, a serious businessman and you’re making him watch Coco tonight and you have plans to go to a pumpkin patch tomorrow. How could you think these were the things he wanted to do?
Tumblr media
“Your girlfriend dropped this off for you, Sir.” Riley places the bag on Harry’s desk when he returns into his office and he would have known it was from you even if she didn’t tell him. It’s in that bag with the polka dots all over that you love to use so much. It brings a smile to his lips and then he finds the sticky note. His smile grows from ear to ear.
“Thank you. I’ll be leaving early tonight, I have plans. You guys can leave around three too, if you want,” he tells her to which she nods before striding out of the room.
He can’t wait to spend the evening with you, curled up on the couch, watching the movies you chose. There’s nothing he would rather be doing on a Friday evening.
Wanting to get home as soon as possible, he really does leave early, texting you on his way home. You usually text him right back with a bunch of emojis, but this time you just send a simple okay and it concerns him. Something happened. He knows it.
“Babe! I’m home!” he calls out upon walking into the penthouse, looking for you and he notices that something is off right away.
Most of the candles are gone. And there’s only one blanket left on the couch. The pillows? Gone too.
“Y/N?” he calls out again and that’s when you walk out of the bedroom, dressed in a simple black dress. It looks great on you, but he knows you wouldn’t wear it, not at least without a fun jacket or mismatched jewelry.
“Hey!” you attempt to smile at him as you kiss him on the lips shortly.
“You’re so dressed up,” he hums.
“Yeah, um… I thought that maybe we could ditch the movie night and go out for dinner. I reserved a table at that sushi restaurant you like.”
“You want to ditch movie night? But I thought… what about Coco? It’s your favorite!”
“I’ve seen it a million times already,” you shrug. “And for tomorrow, maybe we could go to the spa and—“
“Alright, wait, slow down,” he cuts you off. “Sushi instead of movie night? Spa instead of pumpkin patch? What’s going on?”
“Nothing,” you play innocent, but he can see right through you.
“Don’t lie to me. Something surely happened and I don’t like what it did to you. You’re not… you’re not yourself. And where are the candles and blankets?”
“Y-You noticed them? I was just… I cleaned up a bit…”
“No, you didn’t clean, you put away most of your stuff, it almost looks like it was before.”
“Because…! They didn’t belong here, it’s better this way. Don’t you think?” you sigh, moving away from him to keep yourself together, but he pulls you back and taking your chin between his thumb and index finger, he makes you look at him.
“Baby, talk to me. What happened?” Your lips wobble as you shake your head, but you know he won’t leave you alone until you tell him. “Tell me what happened, I don’t like seeing you sad,” he softly pleads.
“I’m childish,” you say in a whisper.
“What?”
“I’m… ridiculous and childish. You should… You should be dating someone more mature.”
“Where is this all coming from?” he asks in disbelief. You’re hesitant to answer, but you can’t hold it back any longer.
“I dropped your lunch off today and I heard the assistants talk about me. They said that I’m childish and basically we’re not compatible. And… Maybe they are right.”
“No, they are not!” he answers straight away.
“Have you looked around? I moved in and brought all this… random stuff and messed up your modern and expensive home.”
“No, you made it into our home. I loved every little thing you brought with you!”
“You did?”
“Of course! This place didn’t even feel like home until you moved in. You brought so much light and joy, I love the blankets and pillows, all the candles and anything that reminds me of you.”
You open your mouth to say something, but no words come out. You’re in awe and most importantly, in love.
“And they make the place homey, but you make it my home. You’re my home, Y/N.”
“I’m gonna cry,” you announce as the first tears roll down your cheeks. Harry just chuckles and kisses your forehead before pulling your head to his chest.
“Let’s find those blankets and candles, change into some comfortable clothes and get a head start on that movie night, hm?”
“Okay,” you nod after a hiccup. Taking your face in his hands he wipes your cheeks before kissing you softly on the lips.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Thank you for reading, please like and reblog if you enjoyed and buy me a coffee if you want to support me!

NoblePumpmon with a goth tamer? idk! he gives me such nightmare before christmas vibes
NoblePumpmon with a goth tamer
💙: omg NoblePumpmon is one of my favourite Digimon ever!! i love this pumpkin man. i typed too much pumpkin stuff
They enjoy spending their evenings reading classic horror literature together. NoblePumpmon enjoys listening to his tamer read aloud and offering feedback.
When his tamer is feeling a bit down, NoblePumpmon may occasionally offer them a hot cup of pumpkin spice latte to cheer them up. His tamer appreciates the gesture and cuddles up with the Digimon for warmth.
They enjoy exploring spooky locations such as cemeteries and NoblePumpmon will always be by his tamer's side, protecting them from any potential threats.
During the Halloween season, they dress up in matching costumes. One year, they went as a vampire and bat.
On lazy dayss, they sit together on the couch and binge-watch classic horror flicks. NoblePumpmon comments on how silly some of the films are, yet he still enjoys them.
NoblePumpmon is taught about the many subgenres of goth music, and he enjoys bands like Bauhaus and Joy Division.
When his tamer gets the dreaded writer's block, NoblePumpmon assists by providing inspiration and ideas inspired by the horror films they saw.
NoblePumpmon helps his tamer in making creepy DIY decorations for their home, like jack-o-lanterns and bat-shaped candles. He is an expert pumpkin carver and enjoys showing off his works.
They both enjoy going to goth-themed events and festivals. They had a good time immersing themselves in the culture and meeting other gothic people.
When his tamer is feeling creative, NoblePumpmon helps out by modeling for their spooky photoshoots. He loves to dress up in costumes and strike a pose for the camera.
They both enjoy all things Halloween and spooky and look forward to the holiday every year. They decorate their house with cobwebs, skulls and have a pumpkin carving contest every year.

Halloween with the boys in 2020:
Tumblr media
Well i’s spooky time, but we can't really do too much traditional spooky stuff this year. I really hope you’ve made the best of what's a tough situation globally and had a good socially distant Halloween!
Spooks and kisses! -Kei
Ruvik:
-The man would be going out anyway but now that the world is shut down he’s 100% never leaving the house
-Man’s high risk as it is
-Doesn’t mean he doesn’t like, secretly love Halloween
-will not decorate of his own free will, his S/O will have to gently rope him into doing anything *spooky*
-Nothing outside however; he will not have random people coming to his door thinking they will be receiving candy
-That’s his cAndy!
-But he won’t admit it
-He will not dress up, you can’t make him
-If he’s in a good mood he will joke about how he doesn’t need to dress up, he’s already an evil scientist (complete with “spooky” finger wiggles)
-He’s very interested if his S/O will dress up – especially if it’s sexy (the sexy nurse has him gone)
-He won’t say anything but will be side eyeing them all night, hoping his S/O will either instigate sex or give him a reason to instigate sex
-This is just costume sex holiday where he can be extra creepy scientist with his S/O
-(did someone say medical kink? Because I did)
 Joseph:
-This man lives for any holiday season
-He’s decorating on like October 1st
-They don’t come down until Nov 1st as per Halloween rules (Trick ‘r Treat)
-He’s really sad that he can’t hand out candy like normal this year, but he’s ready to make the best of it
-Get ready to DIY cause this man is making a candy slide and candy bags for every kid in his local area
-He also makes his costume
-He’s gonna be a robot made out of boxes from all the candy and supplies he bought
-If his S/O wants to do matching costumes he will DIE
-He’s not like, gonna get turned on just cause his S/O wears a sexy costume but he won’t complain but long as it’s not too revealing – they are handing out candy to kids after all
-Wants to watch cute movies like the Nightmare Before Christmas and It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
-Will 100% be known for doing like full sized candy bars
-His own stash however consists of homemade goodies often fresh from the oven
-There will be snuggles and kisses for his S/O throughout the night
-Very pure, very wholesome, very fun
 Sebastian:
-Really indifferent to Halloween, kinda makes him sad cause he doesn’t have his daughter to take out for candy anymore
-Really doesn’t decorate, but will carve a pumpkin and put it in the window, but that’s as much as he will do on his own
-Will however hoard those boxes of mini chocolate bars for himself
-Hot take but loves candy corn
-This man lives for scary movies, they’re a good distraction and can be pretty funny or hell even scary sometimes
-He’s seen a lot of shit so one would think he wouldn’t like them but it’s fun to indulge in darker thoughts
-His S/O is really going to have to look after him as he’s most likely going to be mopey all day if he isn’t working
-Normally his S/O talks him into doing something for Halloween but this year there really isn’t anything to do so the two just stay home and close for the day
-Snuggles are the best bet along with some candy to cheer him up
-The closest he comes to a costume is wearing his pajamas all day
-The most indifferent to his S/O wearing a costume
-Really not here for the “sexy policemen” of the “Sexy S.W.A.T. member”
-Will get a good laugh about it though
-“Impersonating an officer is a crime you know?”
-Just wants to snuggle and be distracted by his S/O and scary movies

SEWING SPIDERS Spiderverse headcanon: All of the spidefam are, on varying levels, (somewhat) competent at sewing and other needle arts for multiple reasons.
Peter B, Gwen and Noir are the best in terms of actual skill.
Peter B and Noir learned from their respective Aunt May's as a way to stretch out the wear and tear of their clothes, since they didn't always have money for new ones. Between that and the time they spent sewing their costumes back together, they became pretty good at it.
Noir uses it as a reflective, relaxing activity when he can't sleep or the nightmares keep him awake. Because of this, he has the most patience when it comes to hand sewing even if it's larger projects or when dealing with an endless amount of small stitches. He is also surprisingly good at embroidery, and has made many patches for the Fam to stick to their jackets and bags. They all come out gorgeously detailed and monochromatic, but once the Fam gives him other colors and he has them all labelled and sorted (they know better than to mess with the labels) Noir occasionally asks them for help on color theory and what colors look good together.
Peter B is decently competent at sewing and fixing hem lines, waist lines, and holes. His aunt May was also a master knitter, so he has borderline medium level skill there, and can make a mean scarf or blanket if he really gets going. He has tried to use a loom before, but finds it too bulky and his rows often have large gaps because the struggles with yarn tension.
Gwen is by far, the best out of them. Not just because she can fix things, but because she can make them. Gwen has dipped her interests into many aesthetics ranging from punk, rock, vintage, pastel, or the softer looks based off of ballet and lyrical dance. She has made, and worn, a corset a time or two. She also isn't afraid to rip her clothes up and patchwork them together to see what she gets if she likes it enough, and has a good eye for diy stuff. She can make pretty rockin' circle skirts and blouses, and is the only other one besides Noir and Ham who knows how to take measurements and what they mean. She also legitimately sketches out her ideas and has a mannequin bust for her projects, and can use a sewing machine even on thinner slippier fabrics. She has a lot of talent for sewing and clothes making, on the flip side she has very LITTLE talent for things like knitting and embroidery and has rage quit them more than once.
Ham is exactly in the middle of them all in terms of skill. He can do the basics pretty well, knows how to keep his stitches lined up and even, can take measurements, and is better at short bits of hand stitching. His own skill is more for fixing holes and hemlines more than anything else, although he occasionally struggles with the learning curve of human bodies when it comes to the Fams' clothes because he is, in fact, a pig. And humans and pigs don't share a lot in terms of physical features. The Fam sometimes wonders WHY Ham needs to know how to sew, but since they're not sure about Zany Cartoon Logic when it comes to clothing they decide not to ask.
Miles is not necessarily GOOD at sewing, but he IS learning and getting better with practice. Apparently sewing your own costume is par for the course when you have a secret spider identity. He learned sewing from his mother, but the Aunt May of his dimension is also willing to help and a very tired miles is grateful. He still wants to do it on his own thought cause he feels guilty, which leads to several poked fingertips and sore hands and somehow getting wrapped up in the measuring tape while his mother laughs and scolds him for his lack of patience. His stitches are a little large and not spaced very well but he's getting there.
And while Miles can't sew very well, him and Gwen get along fabulously because Miles can diy pattern layouts in his head, dye/dip dye/acid wash/paint fabric pretty well. He actually learned it initially from both his father and uncle Aaron. He can use fabric glue and sealant pretty well, and can use acrylics and tea and coffee for cosplay style costume aging. While he's better at drawing, his dad taught him pastel dying with stuff like kool-aid, and how to properly iron patches onto his jackets and backpack. His uncle Aaron would always help little Miles out around Halloween time, and Miles learned things like placement, making texture, and making shadows and highlights with things like fabric paint and hairspray for costumes.
Peni is generally the worst of them in terms of sewing. Partially because she has no interest in it, and partially because her interests in science and technology tends to bleed into her other interests. As in, she's the kind of person who would rather make a Lazer scanner to get your measurements because it's more accurate and time effective versus doing it by hand. She CAN hand sew, kinda, but finds doing it on clothes time-consuming and frustrating. Being from the future, when she does feel like doing cosplay or fixing things, prefers to use her tech because she loves to see how accurately she can recreate things. She introduced the other spiders to characters she cosplays, that have futuristic designs or weapons, that Peni likes to recreate just to challenge herself. If she has to get something done to her clothes beyond her own skill, she prefers to be an informed consumer and look up local businesses to support that can fix her clothes, or where she can buy bolts of fabric that are no longer being mass used (deadstock) so they won't go to waste for Gwen and miles.
That being said, she CAN sew. Kinda. She often goes to Noir for help learning how to do it by hand since he is surprisingly patient with her, compared to an amused Gwen smacking Miles in the head when he doesn't listen. and Peni believes in being fashionable AND functional. She doesn't always have the time or interest for full length projects like Gwen or Miles, but her hand stitching is getting better with practice. Her interests lies more with accessories and decorative designs. She has begun practice on stitching ribbons and bows made of silk, or hair pins, belts, and patches made of fabric flowers/leaves and faux gems and pearls. She has even made the odd plush toy and doll. Noir has been teaching her basic embroidery, and she sometimes helps Gwen and Miles pick accent colors and textures for whatever they're making.
All in all, it's another weird little thing they all have vaguely in common. Ham snickers and jokes that they're Spiders, of course they can stitch stuff together cause that's what they do. But it is nice, having something they can all bond over like this. On good days when they can all hop over to someone's dimension and just need to relax and get things done, every inch of the room will be covered in needles, threads and fabrics of various colors.
Sometimes it's a Learning Day. Noir, Gwen, and Peter B help teach hand stitching, while Peni and Gwen drag Ham along with them to learn. Ham wants Gwen to teach him how to cut, measure, and drape fabric, because just like in the human world, in Ham's world there is a struggle to find clothes that fit certain looks and body types and he would like clothes that FIT please and thank you. He will also help Miles with his hand stitching when the others are busy, and is surprisingly good at distracting Miles long enough that he doesn't get bored when sewing. Noir teaches Peni ladder stitching to fix her plushies, and how to bind and cut fabric edges so she can stitch her silk belts and ribbons in clean lines. Peni shows Noir pictures of different tree and leaf designs, and helps describe the colors to Noir while he copies the unfamiliar shapes onto fabric with markers so he can practice the designs. Peter B teaches Gwen to find the rhythm of her knitting, and how to count time and stitches and rows with songs under her breath. Miles Shows Peni and Noir how to stick patches/ribbons/cloth to bags and clothes, what fabrics work with certain fabric glue, and whether something should be ironed on or sewn on (in which they turn to Noir for help).
Other times it is a Work Day, fun and relaxed but full of concentration. Gwen and Miles will be hunched over her sketchbook, bickering about draping and texture, what colors and patterns work best with what fabrics and what pieces should be layered together, occasionally asking for Peni's thoughts about what spots need something eye catching. Peni will be sitting next to Noir, hunched over with her tongue sticking out of her mouth, small quick hands working stitches into a plush toy or doll dress, or if the kids are working on something together, occasionally silk ribbons or belts with colorful glass beads, or a fabric flower hair piece. Noir is almost always next to her, half-watching her lines and guiding her softly when she gets frustrated, his own fabric pulled tight in his embroidery hoop and thread looping into something beautiful. Ham sits across from Gwen, grumbling as he fixes the holes in his work shirts and pants, and occasionally having Gwen help him redesign something that just doesn't fit right because he is working on a reporters salary and can't afford to waste it on clothes that aren't built for him. Peter B winces in empathy because he has BEEN there, and hums as he counts rows for the scarves and blankets that will help the others survive a New York Christmas. Occasionally, if Gwen is busy, Miles asks for Peter B to help him stitch his costume together, and amid bickering and exaggerated groans of death by boredom Miles feels a little proud of his stitches, neater and more precise than anything he has done so far.

Halloween plans (OW addition)
What me and my F/Os did for Halloween, because my irl Halloween plans were minimal and lacking Halloween spirit.
Zenyatta
Zen, Genji, and I all planned to do matching costumes ahead of time
Originally we were going to do characters from a game or show we all knew, but anything Genji and I suggested, Zen didn’t know
He was willing to dress up so we could have fun, but we’d rather all be something we understand
Eventually we decided to be a basic Halloween monster trio
Skullyatta, Zomji, and Vampile
We spent the most time finding Omnic safe and washable paints to decorate Zen and Genji
I already had most of a vampire costume together. Genji called me a dork
We didn’t really do anything aside from dressing up
McCree and Hanzo showed up some time late into the evening with a big bowl of candy dressed as eachother
We all watch horror movies until we passed out together on the couch
BOB
Deadlocke Pumpkin carving contest
It use to just be fun and games until McCree made one that looked like Ashe
Now she takes it very seriously, and if Ashe takes something seriously, all of Deadlocke takes it seriously
I hold knives very incorrectly and it makes BOB anxious every time
Ashe wins the contest
After that it’s basically a county fair of Autumn activities
Locals of Route 66 and the surrounding town attend as well
We set up food stalls and games
BOB, Ashe, McCree, and I set up a very elaborate haunted house
McCree is the tour guide that makes you feel safe
I’m the unsettling, just kind of there scare
BOB’s the big guy with a big weapon stands just out of your view silently scare
Ashe is the loud chases you with a chainsaw scare
We have a blast
Maximilian
A few of his associates are throwing Halloween parties
So we party hop throughout the night, for business reasons
Despite them being Halloween costume parties, Max does wear a real costume
It’s his usual black suit, with Orange accents instead of red and a mascaraed mask he spends most the time holding rather than wearing
I am in a simailar situation because I made the unwise choice of suggesting we wear matching costumes
Black and Orange waistcoat and dress clothes, plus a feathered tiny hat
I’m not a fan of parties but there’s expensive sweets at the tables and Max is making business talk so all’s well
The Talon Halloween party near the end of the night is a little better
Reaper and Sombra go all out on their costumes, and hold everyone else up to their standards
Neither are exactly pleased to see Max and I in Halloween themed suits rather than costumes, but what are you gonna do
It’s basically the same as Max’s business parties, with less expensive drinks and food and more causal discussions I can actually follow and be apart of
Lynx17
Hot tip: Lynx is a bit of a horror coward
They’ll deny it, but they are
So when the Overwatch youngster crew decided to go and check out local Haunted Houses, they weren’t excited
But I was, so they went anyway
Lucio, Lena, and Lynx are the jumpiest and scream at every little scare
Emily and I do our best to keep them calm
Hana and Jamie are in the back critiquing everything
Three houses in and Lucio wants to tap out
Hana and Jamie try to convince him to keep going, that those weren’t even the highest rated ones on the list tonight
But as we started on the fourth place, Brig punched an actor and broke his nose so.. yeah it was time to tap
We go grab some fast food and try to think of what to do with the rest of the night
Hana suggest we try Trick or Treating for a while
Lucio and Lynx say we’re all too old for that, and we all agree
Until Jamison asks what “Trick or Treating” is
We book it to the nearest Halloween Express, get our asses some cheesy costumes, and run around the highest grade neighborhood we can find
There are a few kids running around dressed as Overwatch active agents, which we of course took pictures of
Iggy
Costume DIY
Decoration DIY
Really everything is a Do It Yourself kind of thing
We don’t have anywhere to go Trick or Treating
And Iggy can’t eat candy anyway
So we just decide on some harmless Tricks to set up around the Underground
We follow the rule of pranks; Confuse, don’t Abuse
Emily and Lena invite us over for a Horror Movie marathon, and of course we go
Emily and I are the fans of horror, Lena and Iggy are here because they love us
Iggy and Lena are both easily surprise frightened, so jumpscares really mess them up
Emily and I are both immune to those kinds of scares, and spend most the movie calming Iggy and Lena back down
We spend the night piled up on Lena and Emily’s couch, eventually going from real horror to kid’s horror
The Nightmare Before Christmas, Paranorman, Halloween Town
We also watch Coraline and that was a mistake
