What if Nyx asked Tiergan to go out drinking? If he said yes, what would he drink?

Tiergan doesn’t drink very often.  Partially because he knows Zaius doesn’t like it and partially because he knows it leaves him vulnerable because his senses aren’t as sharp.When he does drink, it’s usually for social reasons.  He used to get hammered whenever something truly terrible happened, but has since stopped the habit as it eventually made him feel weak to use booze as a form of escape.

So I just had a flashback - I used to RP as Link...

I used to RP as Invader Tak and Tallest Purple from Invader Zim as well as Sakura Haruno from Naruto…So…yeah. That was a thing.

A glorious thing, I hope. I look back on it now and cringe, but at the time, it was lots of fun, though my writing style was absolutely horrible.

character flaws:

11. What are their intellectual shortcomings?

Alannah is pretty terrible at seeing the big picture. She can pick out details, but isn't very good at putting them together. She tends to hyperfocus on one small piece of a situation and be absorbed by it while everything else goes sailing over her head. It can make her unreliable in fights and high tension situations, but sometimes the ability to see one little thing that others miss can come in handy.

She tends to think with her emotions, and while she's not lacking in wits, complicated and advanced logic usually are beyond her unless explained in more simple terms.

She's also largely ignorant of the world and other cultures as the result of growing up in a very narrow-minded family, and so she has the terrible habit of putting her foot in her mouth more often than not.

13. In what ways might they be overly negative and/or pessimistic?

In general, Alannah is a cheerful optimist. However, she takes her own failures and mistakes very poorly, often blaming herself for things that may have been beyond her control in the first place and brooding on it for long periods.

People in general have also left her sad and disappointed. When she left on her own to go adventuring, she'd expected to find the world a welcoming and open place. Instead, she has found people cruel and deceitful, and more than willing to take her advantage of her innocence. Now she has a general fear of strangers, and walking in the streets alone makes her nervous.

18. Are they ever a pushover about something? If so, how?

Because she's aware of the huge multitude of things she doesn't know, Alannah defers to authority or the Scions, and she often gets pushed into situations that she's uncomfortable with or not particularly willing to handle because she tells herself that they know better than she does. So she ends up going against her gut instincts, which usually end up being right.

She's also pretty susceptible to her friends' influence and being stuffed into ridiculous outfits that make her turn seven shades of red.

45:Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?

For Cele: Deeds. Absolutely deeds. It’s not that he’s not good with words, He just knows that words can be false. One can say they love you but be lying. Deeds are more real to him.

46:If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?

For Bex: Bex has already been in love with his ideal once. But, ideally, male Hyuran. Kind. A good heart. A real sense of what’s right. He can’t abide people who let others suffer. Being blond and a paladin doesn’t hurt.But for Bex, being a good, selfless, moral person is what’s paramount.

47:How do they express love?

For Aviaran: By being protective of those he loves. He’s a quiet man of few words but he would fight to the death for those he loves.

2. Do they have any daily rituals?

Every morning Alannah can be found crawling on the floor looking for her glasses, as every night in her sleep she inevitably knocks them off of the nightstand or whatever surface she laid them on to keep them safe.

And if time is generous, she prefers to read a few chapters of a book over breakfast, a leftover remnant from her childhood. Now it's a luxury, since she's always on the road at the beck and call of the Scions, but she always keeps a book or two in her pack should the opportunity arise.

9. Makeup?

Minimal. It's not practical when she's covered in dust and grime from the road, but growing up on a farm with four brothers has not given her many feminine habits either. Still, she's young and still carries some naïvety as well as the desire to impress the opposite sex (even if she hardly knows what she's doing), so she'll dabble some kohl around her eyes if she's staying in the cities.

22. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

First and foremost, she would write to her eldest brother, who holds a captain rank with the Immortal Flames and who she rarely sees. Letters to the rest of her family would follow, though written with a lesser degree of fondness.

Beyond letter writing, Alannah is a dreamer by nature, and loves to doodle the fantastic images in her imagination. She's not a particularly talented artist, but this hardly bothers her. She was criticized rather harshly by her parents for always having her head in the clouds, so even now that she's left home she keeps her sketching and writing to herself.
