In the latest aid package, the US sends new missiles to Ukraine

The Biden administration revealed its thirty-ninth shipment of equipment to Ukraine, valued at up to $300 million to help in its defense against Russia.

The new security assistance includes artillery, anti-armoured features and ammunition, including tens of millions of small arms ammunition cartridges.

In addition, among the items included are additional ammunition for Patriot air defense systems, AIM-7 missiles for air defense, Avenger air defense systems, Stinger anti-aircraft systems and additional ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS).

This is the first official confirmation of the transfer of the AIM-7 Sparrow (Air Intercept Missile) to Ukraine. Although the AIM-7 is originally an air-to-air missile with semi-active radar, it will be employed by Ukraine's Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system, increasing its air defense capabilities. Developed by Raytheon, the first variants of the missile entered U.S. military service in the 1960s.

In addition, the package also includes 155 mm and 105 mm artillery cartridges, 105 mm tank ammunition, precision aerial ammunition, Zuni rockets and ammunition for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

In addition, it provides AT-4 anti-shield systems, more than 30 million small arms ammunition, mine removal equipment and systems, demolition ammunition for obstacle removal, night vision devices, spare parts, generators and other field equipment.

After President Biden's meeting with President Zelensky at the G7 Summit in Hiroshima, Japan, in May 2021, the United States held its thirty-eighth instance of withdrawal of equipment to Ukraine.

In total, the U.S. has committed $38.3 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the Biden administration, which includes more than $37.6 billion provided since the start of the invasion of Russia on February 24, 2022.

“The United States will continue to work with its allies and partners to provide Ukraine with resources to meet the immediate needs of the battlefield and long-term security assistance requirements,” the Department of Defense said.

Day 4 “Alex no” “Alex yes”

This is complete garbage but I didn’t think I would be able to write anything at all for today, so take that depression! This is for Danvers Sisters Week by @queercapwriting read on ao3

This is it. The moment of truth. Kara psychs herself up, then bursts through a wall. She readies herself for a hail of bullets, but the only attack that comes is from the wall crumbling around her. The bunker is completely empty of life, which is a bit of a disappointment seeing as she’s been itching for a fight for the past week.

Ever since they captured the lone Cadmus agent, with surprisingly high clearance for being a field agent, the DEO has been on high alert. Kara’s been on call for a week, jumping every time her phone rings, and she doesn’t think Alex or J’onn has even left the DEO in so long. The main reason being they’re working day and night to break their captive. Kara has literally had to force them to take naps and nibble on meals. Even as Supergirl, the task is almost too much for her to handle.

But their hard work pays off, and the agent finally gives up the location of one of Cadmus’ bunkers. Kara forces Alex to get a full night’s sleep before they go to raid the place, reasoning that she has to be at least semi well rested before tackling a mission of this scale. Alex agrees, begrudgingly, if only because she and everyone else was expecting Cadmus to put up a bigger fight.

Kara turns around to look back through the hole she created. It’s satisfyingly large, and about the only satisfying thing she’s done all week.

“It’s empty,” she calls to the agents waiting to rush in behind her. They march forward in military formation anyway, except for Alex who saunters in with a rocket launcher on one shoulder and her helmet under the other.

“Start casing the place and report back what you find,” she orders, and the agents fan out to do so. She walks up to Kara, who is standing near the first row of the warehouse-like bunker. “Shall we take a look?”

“Sure.” They set off, Alex holding the rocket launcher at the ready and Kara scanning the boxes on either side of the row with her x-ray vision. Some of them are lined with lead, but the ones she can see into look to be filled with dangerous weapons.

They reach the end of the row with no traps or Cadmus agents springing on them. Alex sets down the launcher and moves over to one of the crates.

“May as well see what’s inside these. Give me a hand?” She starts to pull one off the bottom shelf, and Kara sighs because it’s one of the lead-lined ones so she has no idea if it’s dangerous or not. It probably is. They’re dealing with Cadmus, after all. She helps Alex pull it off the shelf anyway, and rips off the lid.

As soon as she peers inside, she knows it was a mistake to open it. “Alex, no!”

“Alex, yes,” she says with a terrifying gleam in her eyes. “I call dibs.” She hauls out one of the sleek looking rifles and weighs it in her hands before setting it against her shoulder and looking through the sights.

“You don’t know what that thing can do!” Kara is about halfway through her sentence when Alex fires, and the kick is almost enough to knock her off her feet. The blast scorches its way through almost two feet of metal. “Ok, so that’s what it can do.”

“I’m glad Cadmus left these behind,” Alex says, lowering the rifle and giving it another once over.

“I’m worried these aren’t the only ones they have.” Kara frowns at the crate.

“Well, now that we’ve got some for ourselves, it might level the playing field. Now come on, I want to see what other crazy weapons are in this place.”

“Alex, no!”

“Alex, yes!”

Over the years, they’ve had quite a few “Alex, no” “Alex, yes” moments. The time she broke her arm and tried to climb a tree to prove that she didn’t need Kara to take care of her. The time she jumped out of a plane with no parachute and Kara out of commission and therefore unable to catch her just to put a tracker on UFO. The time she practically strangled Jim from HR for burying her in literal mountains of paperwork (Jim was fired for that, and Pam knows better than to try the same stunt).

The point is, Alex is basically willing to do whatever it takes, no matter the cost to herself, and Kara finds herself constantly repeating her mantra of “Alex, no!” It’s basically become her catchphrase at this point. Most of the time it only goes to raise Kara’s blood pressure (which, can that even happen on this planet? The answer is yes) but right now it might be to their advantage.

“Oh good, she’s here,” Winn says, his voice distorted from plugging his nose. Kara admires his bravery. She doesn’t even want to open her mouth, the smell is so bad. “Alex! Come on in to the quarantine tent.” It’s not an actual quarantine tent, but Winn has dubbed it thusly because anyone with any sense has avoided it at all costs. Alex ducks under the door flap and immediately gags.

“Oh God, what is that smell.” She covers her mouth and nose with the front of her shirt.

“What we need you for. Will you get into that pod and bring back some samples? Please and thank you!” Winn holds out a handful of plastic bags in her direction. Alex looks at him with more disgust than the glowing blue pod, which is the source of the smell.

“Alex, yes! Come on, you’re the only one small enough to fit,” Kara begs. Alex shoots her a withering glance.

“Winn is small.”

“Hey!”

“I’m not going in there, and that’s final.” She ignores his interruption and physically puts her foot down to make her point. “And technically, I outrank both of you, so I could order one of you to do it.”

“But you won’t, because...because…” she glances helplessly to Winn for help.

“Because science!” He supplies. Alex rolls her eyes.

Frankly, this whole conversation is ridiculous, because all of their noses are plugged and they all look blue because of the glow from the pod. If it weren’t so serious, they really do need to get these samples because the smell has already put three people in the hospital, Kara would be cracking up with laughter. As it is, they’re at a stalemate.

Surprisingly, Alex breaks first. “Alex, fine.” She sighs and holds out a hand for the bags. Winn hands them over as she marches over to the pod. “If I die, Maggie gets the pizza in my fridge.”

“You’re a braver person than I,” Winn says. Alex flips him off.

As Alex wriggles her way into the pod, Kara revels in the fact that this is the first time she’s ever been on the “Alex, yes” side of the argument, ever. Somehow, that’s even weirder than this whole pod situation. She shrugs, then exits the tent, leaving Alex and Winn to their devices. She’s had enough for today.

Just another dance with the Angels.

(Gif is from Ace Combat: Assault Horizon and what inspired me to write this. Can you tell I actually know very little about fighter combat and fighter planes? I hope you are at least entertained reading this.)

The Army of Revalation bombers soared up ahead, close to twenty minutes from their targets. Their forms were familiar to those who studied stealth bombers, but at the same time, so alien in their movements and smooth, gliding, turns. For the allied fighter planes and SAM sites, it was like trying to hunt down a UFO. They adjusted their course with the grace of a dancer, and made the allied planes look clumsy as they moved to take them on. The new course of the AoR bombers took them on a faster path towards yet more civilian targets, a bombing run designed to further break the Alliance’s will to fight. They could have struck a deadly blow to the Allied ground forces and other United Nations or NATO facilities if they tried, but they just couldn’t resist the urge to butcher the innocent, for it would please the unholy God Leviathan and Dark Apostle.

The AoR and the Dark Apostle thought that they could break the will of the humans that wouldn't submit to leviathan by going for civilian casualties more than they did military targets. But all it really did was inspire more people to fight and preserve military resources for the counterattacks against AoR positions. It would almost be bad comedy, if it wasn’t so tragic, and didn’t claim so many innocent lives.

Their hubris and belief that humanity’s days were numbered, was one of the reasons the allies had yet to give in, despite the decade of global conflict against traitor humans with better tech and weapons, and abominations from beyond our world.

But their failures were just all the more exploitable for allied forces.

The fighter planes may have been obsolete when compared to the new toys that the AoR had, but they were proven to be effective, and their pilots knew them inside and out. As one the flight pushed their engines as hard as they could, closing the distance as they shattered the sound barrier with their movements sounding like the furious crash of Thor’s hammer several times over. With a combination of night vision, and radar, the pilots were able to see through the darkness and watched as the enemy bombers were highlighted in green diamond shapes that soon turned red, designating them as hostile.

They managed to close the distance between the fighters and the bombers very quickly, to the point that some of them began to get positive locks, as friendly AA helped their own onboard computers see the enemy bombers, despite their superior Electronic Countermeasures.

Flanking each of the bombers was a trio of delta shaped drones, being piloted from within the bomber itself by extra crew yet another in the near endless number of innovations and advancement the AoR was using to outpace the allied forces.

The drones began to separate from the bombers, and move towards the allied planes, with several of them pulling a breaking maneuver that forced the allied planes to either duck out of the way (thus leaving their back exposed), or risk a mid air collision. A few of the Allied planes took that risk.

“Aguilla two, gun range!” One of the pilots called out, a thick Hispanic accent coloring his words, before opening up with his cannon, a steady rhythm of machinegun fire. The tracer rounds looked like an angry swarm of fireflies racing out towards the drone. The bullets all found their target, smashing into the beetle like drone and blowing gaping holes into its side, severing its connection to the bomber as it fell at an angle the pilot was able to dodge.

Soon others were calling out for one reason or another as the once silent night was lit up with weapons fire, explosions, and the roar of engines.

“I got a lock!” One of the fighter pilots declared, his plane carrying nose art of a grim reaper, with a dead squid in its grasp, the squid being a common symbol to represent the Leviathan by those who wanted to mock it, something the Church of Revelations hated. A missile sailed away from his wing, towards one of the bombers, but went wide, as it failed to maintain a target lock.

“Drone, look out!” A female pilot declared, popping flares and banking to the side as the Drone flew between her and her wingman as if on a kamikaze run.

Their ECM was getting better and better all the damn time. Missiles had a hard time getting a lock and Allied fighters were being forced to rely more on guesses, their own eyes, and getting close enough to use their guns.

“Ready...Break!” someone else called out over the radio, managing to get behind a Drone, and opening up with a 20MM gun in the nose of the plane. The gun rattled with a steady rhythm as the bullets severed one of the drone’s wings off, and left it spinning in a corkscrew like pattern down to the ground.

The bombers were getting closer to their target, despite the best efforts of the fighters, and tracer fire from below was going wide, trying to add its own strength to the assault without hitting allied planes.

“Its getting too far, I cant shake these fucking drones!.” One pilot declared, as three of the offending machines gave chase, before a single sound could be heard over all of the fighting, the sounds of trumpets up above. The drones quickly broke off their assault of the pilots, and instead moved off higher into the clouds, chasing after smaller, winged targets. The Allied pilots did not waste the chance and began to follow after the bombers, closing range.

“Garuda-1, fox two!” one pilot declared, letting lose another missile, and this time, striking a bomber right as it was attempting to open up its bomb bay doors. The missile struck right at the engines, and something seemed to fail within the bomber, causing it to veer off and present its back towards the other allied planes, which descended upon it like a pack of angry wolves. The first and second bomber were quickly assaulted by the fighter planes, striking them with machine gun and missile fire, until both were nothing but scrap metal falling to the sky, but the third and final one continued on its mission, opening up the doors and preparing to drop dead upon an entire city of innocents who huddled in their homes, praying for safety, not knowing where to go and hide from the bombs.

Inside of the AoR bomber, the crew uttered out prayers to Leviathan as they prepared to drop their payload.

“Glory to the eater of worlds, devourer of souls, long may he feast. He with a thousand masks, he who makes the Angels shiver, he who makes the fallen Lucifer Morningstar tremble at the knees of his father. He who would devour All Father Odin, he who would slay Anubis, that would slaughter even the Ebon Dragon! He that would blot out the sun, turn the moon red, and tear out the heart of mother Gaia. Hail Leviathan! Hail the Leviathan’s Apostle, Hail into the void in a thousand voices!” The bomber crew declared in perfect unison, as they offered up the souls of all that they killed to the Leviathan, and in another time, another place, the Leviathan felt its gibbous maw salivated at the souls being offered up. The pilot finished his own prayers and looked for the best target to strike, but for a split second, he could have sworn that he saw flash of gold out of the corner of his eyes.

“For who is more powerful than Leviathan? Who could pierce his ide? Who could slay the leviathan, the true and undispu-’ before the crew could finish up their final prayers, there was a sudden crash from the bomb bay doors. A furious and feathered form had broken in and with a single punch, it smashes its way into the cockpit of the bomber, wings filing the room, glowing, immaculate, radiant, enough to nearly blind the crew.

The Angel stood within the bomber, her face a mask of fury that was as terrifying as it was beautiful, her wings golden, perfectly shaped, and yet with feathers as strong as steel and as sharp as surgical razors. The bomber crew was silent for a single second, as the Angel screamed, her voice alone shattering the windows of the bomber, and bursting blood vessels within the crew.

The allied fighters outside were racing as fast as they could towards he final remaining bomber, ready to fire upon it, when they watched as members of the bomber crew (or even just pieces of them) were thrown through the broken windows of the bomber before the Angel leapt through the superstructure of the bomber, before adjusting her path to grab onto the damaged bomber and begin guiding the bomber away from where it was descending, soon being joined by the other angels that had finished killing off the drones. Once the human pilots finished admiring the Angels doing their work, they reformed and began flying back to their base for refuel, repairs, and rearmament. This was a victory, but only a small one in the unending war against the Leviathan.

(Just something I wrote, randomly inspired by the Armageddon End Times roleplaying game. It probably isn't very good but I hope you enjoyed it none the less.)

Yes, UFOs exist. But they're probably not what you think.

On a dark and otherwise serene night back in the 1960s, my grandpa, a doctor and recreational pilot, was ferrying two lawyers to a deposition. As they bisected the state of Washington, the airborne group encountered something surreal: An aircraft unlike anything they had ever seen before was flying straight toward them. My grandpa recalled an oblong flying machine, with blinking lights and an eerie ability to hover, that tracked his movements through the sky. When he ducked, the other object also ducked. And when he rose, it rose. While it was certainly an unidentified flying object, my grandpa never claimed he saw aliens. He seemed to believe that someday, the strange visit he’d received would be explained—in earthly terms.

This family memory was the first thing I thought of when I read the recent New York Times story about U.S. Navy pilots who say they saw an unidentified flying object near the San Diego coast in 2004. In the story, titled “2 Navy Airmen and an Object That ‘Accelerated Like Nothing I’ve Ever Seen,’” the Times described in hair-raising language the moment Cmdr. David Fravor and Lt. Cmdr. Jim Slaight saw the… thing. Unlike more common aircraft that use propulsion to move through the sky, this craft hovered. It acted almost like an anxious dog, “jumping around erratically,” but also zooming back and forth from the Navy aircraft as if it were curious about the other airplanes it had discovered. Most alarmingly, it moved fast as lightning, and seemed privy to insider knowledge. When the Navy pilots made a game-time decision to head back to their rendezvous point, the strange object somehow beat them there.

Reading this would send chills radiating up and down any normal person’s spine. The accompanying video depicting the encounter—and the alarm in the pilots’ voices—does nothing to suppress that hair-raising sensation. The first question many readers asked was, could this be an alien encounter?

While there’s a slim possibility (like, an infinitesimally small chance) that this really was some interstellar aircraft belonging to an otherworldly species, the answer to the alien question is probably no.

As the New York Times wrote in another piece published last weekend, the U.S. government has been searching for extraterrestrial life on and off for decades. While some information remains classified, so far as we know, we haven’t found anything particularly promising. A more likely explanation for the 2004 San Diego event could be that a government agency, deep within the United States military or the military of another nation, is simply working on new, mind-boggling technologies we’re not privy to yet. Though it may feel like a less exciting rationale for the weird event, there’s immense precedent. Much of the alleged alien activity of the past 80 years has ultimately been revealed as top secret government projects.

Take, for example, the hidden history of flying saucers. In the late 1950s, it seems, the U.S. Air Force really was working on Project 1794 to build a supersonic saucer. The first test of the VZ-9 Avrocar took place on Nov. 12, 1959. Hopes of a lean, mean, and circular fighting machine were high, but the prototypes never met the military’s standards. Instead of rising to an altitude of 100,000 feet, it got closer to 5,000. It never hit the right speed, either, as its shape proved pretty unstable. The top-secret project was cancelled by 1961, but visions of flying saucers have persisted.

And don’t forget the treasure trove of spooky stories emanating from the infamous Area 51. Located in the sand dunes of southwest Nevada, this top-secret site has long been believed the U.S. government’s storage unit for wayward aliens and their crash-landed ships. While much about Area 51 remains mysterious to this day, in 2013, the CIA acknowledged the site really does exist—and that it has long been used for testing spy planes, like the U-2 reconnaissance plane.

But most relevant is the “Roswell incident” of 1947. That summer, a UFO crash-landed on a ranch in Roswell, New Mexico. When the U.S. military tried to cover it up, conspiracy theories ran wild, as no one accepted the explanation offered—that the mysterious metals were just a conventional weather balloon. Today, we know from declassified documents that the myth-making machine was really a nuclear surveillance test balloon, manufactured as part of the Cold War-era surveillance operation, Project Mogul.

Some of these spooky special operations have gained name brand recognition like Area 51, but plenty of smaller, but no less profound, developments have also taken place. We’ve landed on the moon, something that would have once seemed incomprehensible (and to many moon-landing conspiracy theorists, still is). We have Harrier Jump Jets capable of vertical take-offs, a type of lift long associated with alleged alien technologies. And just this week, Boeing’s eerily-named Phantom Works division announced it had been quietly working on a Batmobile-style refueling plane. You’d be forgiven if you saw that plane on a test flight and thought it came from a galaxy far, far away.

My grandpa waited and waited to see the unveiling of a military aircraft that explained the Stranger Things moment he experienced all those years ago. However, he died in 2014 without a truly satisfactory explanation for that night. That doesn’t mean he’s wrong that the ship he saw (and others like it) were the product of human ingenuity (or human error). Even if none of these technological interpretations check out, natural phenomena, drones, and a million other non-alien blips could also be to blame. Aliens may be a fun explanation for what’s otherwise inexplicable, but sometimes, a UFO is just that: an (as yet) unidentified flying object.

8 True Alien Abduction Stories Thatll Make You F*cking Terrified Of UFOs

1. Clayton & Donna Lee Abduction

A Texas-based husband and wife claim to have been abducted by aliens multiple times, including once where a fetus was stolen from Donna by the alien trespassers. Clayton claims that he was a child visiting a park the very first time he was abducted, and that he feels the aliens might be studying him throughout his life.

“I remember just floating up higher,” Donna Lee recounted about her experience, “And, all that was around were stars and blackness. And then, I blacked out.”

The couple have had their memories of this event awakened by a local psychologist, who ironically, doesn’t actually believe in aliens herself.

They have both drawn sketches of the aliens, and appeared on multiple media outlets to talk about their story, including this one on the O’Reilly Factor:

O’REILLY: All right. And you were abducted multiple amounts of times?

D. LEE: Yes, yes.

O’REILLY: Did you ever talk to the abductees? I mean, did they tell you where they were from or anything?

D. LEE: No, that I don’t have any remembering of at all, having the conversation, no.

O’REILLY: So they just swept you away somewhere? Where’d they put you?

D. LEE: Different places, different times. I’ve had memories of being on what I consider the ship, because I know it was someplace other than any place I’d ever visited before.

O’REILLY: So you were in some kind of you were in some kind of vehicle?

D. LEE: Yes. It was a vehicle, a room. It was very cold, metal. A lot of metal. A lot of metal.

O’REILLY: Did you see did you see the aliens?

D. LEE: Yes.

O’REILLY: What do they look like?

D. LEE: What I saw on that particular visit, they were tall, slender, blond. Looked human, but not human, not quite human.

O’REILLY: All right.

D. LEE: They didn’t really use their voices to talk.

The couple say they remain worried about being abducted against almost daily, but that they want to “live their lives” regardless.

2.The Gundiah Mackay Alien Abduction

In a chilling story that three different people were involved in, a 22-year-old named Amy was abducted right out the window of her lounge room by some sort of flying craft.

Amy’s husband Keith had already gone to bed, while her friend Petra stayed up to read in another room. Petrawas abruptly disrupted by a blinding light coming from the lounge room, and the sound of shattering glass.

The rectangular beam of light was shining into the room, and according to Petra, she saw Amy being pulled out of the window by the light, still apparently asleep.

Keith then woke up, and both he and Petra searched the house and surrounding area for Amy, who was nowhere to be seen. Keith eventually called the police.

Amy eventually turned up miles away, with strange marks on her inner thigh, and bizarrely extensive body hair growth.

3. Russian millionaire politician taken by Aliens?

Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, the former President of the only Buddhist political state, avidly claims that he was once kidnapped by creatures not of this world.

He says they abducted him off his apartment balcony, and took him to their spaceship:

Yeah! yeah, yeah, yeah I was taken from my apartment in Moscow to this spaceship! And we went to some star. After that I asked “Please bring me back” because the next day I should be back in Kalmykia! They said oh no problem Kirsan, you have time.

When pressed for details of the aliens themselves,Ilyumzhinov says:

They are people like us. They have the same mind, the same vision. I talked with them. I understand that we are not alone in the whole world. We are not unique.

The ship was absolutely enormous. One of its chambers was the size of a large football pitch. We landed on one of the planets and picked up some piece of equipment. They told me everything in detail.

Allegedly, whileIlyumzhinov was abducted, his staff came looking for him and was unable to locate him until he inexplicably appeared in his suite hours later.

4. The Robert Taylor Incident

Robert Taylor was a forestry worker in Livingston, Scotland. He was heading to work in the woods in 1979 when he turned a corner, and saw a UFO parked in a field.

All at once, two small spheres came from the object. They made a sound as their spikes moved over the earth. They came to a stop beside him, grabbing his trousers, and began to drag him back to the UFO. The spiked objects were very similar to the UFO, only smaller. Taylor could smell a strong, sickening odor. He lost consciousness.

When he regained consciousness, the spheres were gone, but his red setter was still there. The dog was panicky, running around and barking. Taylor tried to calm him down, but found that his voice was gone. He was very weak, and when he tried to stand, he couldn’t. He crawled for a time until he was able to stand again.

He finally made it back to his pick-up truck and tried to radio his work headquarters via his two-way, but still could not speak.

Attempting to drive his truck back home, he got stuck in the mud, so he started a long walk of about a mile back to his house. He arrived at 11:45 AM. (Source)

His wife phoned the police once he got home, remarking that he “looked terrible.” The police began an investigation, having no true explanation for the bizarre tracks left at the scene of the UFO. No aircraft civilian or military was scheduled to be in the area according to comprehensive flight logs.

5.Forestry worker goes MIA for five days where was he??

Travis Walton was one of seven men working in a forestry team in Snowflake, Arizona. When heading home from work one night, the team spied a blindingly bright light. Thinking it was a crashed plane, they drove over to the craft. What they saw, however, did not look like any plane:

Walton jumped out of the truck to get closer to the craft. Suddenly, a bright light shot from the UFO and sent Walton floating into the UFO. The remaining six crew members, panicked, and drove away from the scene to get help.

About 7:30p.m., one of the crew members called the police.Deputy Sheriff Chuck Ellison answered the telephone; The crew member initially reported only that one of a logging crew was missing. Ellison then met the crew at a shopping center. They related the tale to him all the men distraught, two of them in tears and though he was somewhat skeptical of the fantastic account, Ellison would later reflect “that if they were acting, they were awfully good at it.” (Source)

After an initial scan of the area showed no evidence of an “UFO” the police began to suspect the men were using the story to coverup the fact that they simply murdered Walton. However, over the next few days, all six loggers were subjected to intense interrogations and polygraphs, and their story seemed to hold up.

That’s when Walton suddenly reappeared. Thinking he had only been gone for a few hours, Walton retold parts of the story he could.

He said he was interrogated by three creatures with bald heads and huge eyes. He apparently encountered many different creatures on the craft, who performed experiments on him.

Many people were skeptical of the story, but Walton and all the other loggers maintain their stories.

6.The Manhattan Abduction

Linda Napolitano (originally aliased as Linda Cortile) triggered one of the most well-documented UFO abduction cases when she claimed to have been kidnapped out the window of her Manhattan apartment building by a flying saucer.

Linda describes her time with the aliens:

“I’m standing up on nothing. And they take me out all the way up, way above the building. Ooh, I hope I don’t fall. The UFO opens up almost like a clam and then I’m inside.I see benches similar to regular benches. And they’re bringing me down a hallway.

Doors open like sliding doors. Inside are all these lights and buttons and a big long table.I don’t want to get up on that table. They get me on the table anyway. They start saying things to me and I’m yelling. I can still yell. One of them says something that sounds like {Nobbyegg}. I think they were trying to tell me to be quiet because he put his hand over my mouth.”

Her abduction story has been corroborated by two United Nations bodyguards, who claim to have seen exactly the scene that Linda describes.

“There was an oval-shaped object hovering over the top of the apartment building two or three blocks up from where we sat.

We didn’t know where it came from. It happened too fast. Its lights turned from a bright reddish orange to a whitish blue coming out of the bottom. Green lights rotated round the edge of the saucer. A little girl or woman wearing a white gown sailed out of the window in a fetal position – and then stood in mid-air in this beam of light. I could see three of the ugliest creatures I ever saw. I don’t know what they were. They weren’t human.

Their heads were out of proportion, very large heads with no hair. Those buggers were escorting her into the craft. My partner screamed, ‘We have got to get them.’ We tried to get out of the car but couldn’t. After the woman was escorted in, the oval turned reddish orange again and whisked off.”

Years later in 2001, this photo would taken taken at Linda’s apartment. The aliens might have been visiting to check on her:

Both bodyguards would later go on to suffer severe psychological maladies after seeing what they did that night. Linda still maintains her story to this day.

7. Real Life “Men in Black”

Okay, not quite an abduction, but a bizarre visitation of another kind.

Robert Richardson was supposedly driving through Toledo, Ohio when he drove into a strange object, which he claimed vanished the minute that he stepped out to inspect it. Remaining next to his tire, however, was a shard of metal that appeared to have been apart of the mysterious object. Richardson took the metal and continued his drive home.

Three days later, two men in jet black suits and black sunglasses knocked on Richardson’s door. They immediately demanded the piece of metal. Richardson told them that he had it sent off to a lab for analysis. They ordered him to get it back, saying that his wife would be in grave peril if he didn’t.

Richardson ordered them to leave, and never saw them again.

8.Barney and Betty Hill Abduction

Perhaps one of the best known cases in UFO lore, Barney and Better Hill were allegedly abducted by aliens in 1961.

It all started when they were drivingback home from a vacation in Canada, and they saw something they could not explain:

At about a quarter past 10:00 PM, three miles south of the city of Lancaster, Barney noticed what appeared to be a bright star, or planet, which seemed to move erratically. Barney pointed this out to Betty, and they both began to keep track of the object.

The couple began to believe that they were watching a plane appear and disappear, as the movement of their vehicle caused the trees to come and go in obstructing their view. Later, Barney would state that he tried to convince himself that the object was a plane, but that Betty thought it to be something else – an unidentified craft of some kind.

As the two continued to the Flume, just north of North Woodstock, the object appeared to move in an odd way.

As they reached Indian Head, Barney actually stopped the car to have a look at the object with his binoculars. He saw multi-colored lights, and rows of windows on a flat-shaped object, which now seemed to be moving toward him.

As the object moved to within a hundred feet of him, he could see occupants inside. Frightened, he ran back to his car where Betty waited. They climbed inside and sped away. Soon, two hours of their lives would vanish into oblivion.

After resuming their journey home, they were not able to see the strange craft anymore. Oddly though, they heard a beeping sound. They then heard the beeping a second time, noticing that they were suddenly thirty-five miles farther down the road than a minute or two ago. They were now in Ashla. (Source)

Once they got back home, however, the strange occurrences didn’t stop. Betty forcefully insisted that their luggage be kept near the back door, their dress shoes were scuffed and scrapped, and both of their watches were broken never to work again.

But it wasn’t over yet.

Betty began having vivid dreams about the craft and strange people in it.

In the dreams, Betty, Barney, and the men walked up a ramp into a disc-shaped craft of metallic appearance. Once inside, Barney and Betty were separated. She protested, and was told by a man she called “the leader” that if she and Barney were examined together, it would take much longer to conduct the exams. She and Barney were then taken to separate rooms.

Betty then dreamt that a new man, similar to the others, entered to conduct her exam with the leader. Betty called this new man “the examiner” and said he had a pleasant, calm manner. Though the leader and the examiner spoke to her in English, the examiner’s command of the language seemed imperfect and she had difficulty understanding him. (Source)

According to Betty, she was then subjected to an examination. Afterward, she spoke to “the leader.” The Leader told Betty that she could keep a book that she found, but later insisted that he take it back, saying that “the others” wanted to wipe her mind completely. Betty told the Leader that no matter what he did, she would remember the events.

And I guess she did.
