I love teaching. Nothing connects my soul to someone else’s like guiding them through yoga. But I will always be a student at the same time, always learning and being guided myself, making my own connections as I learn from my teachers.

No filter, on my picture or on my past year. I had a ton of ups and a good handful of downs. But I am very happy compared to where I have been. My dogs are the absolute best, my practice keeps me rooted, teaching makes me ecstatically happy. What I’ve learned is I just need to do that this year, do what makes me happy. Obviously everyone has to do something that they’d rather not, but we may also choose doing something we love before or after! So I choose to be happy, walk my dogs more, practice more intimately with myself versus trying to hit every peak pose in the book, teach so passionately that my students leave feeling loved the way I truly love them, and lastly I’m going to climb again. I will outshine the tiny bad moments with all the good adventures I can take. Whoever you are reading this, I hope every happiness for you. Forget the bad bullshit that makes your shoulders heavy and smile. (at Studio Share, LLC)

Your practice is like a flower. It needs the balanced combination of love, determination, nutrition; and lastly it requires self-acceptance and self-love. No daisy will ever look like a rose, no rose will look like a lily, no lily will looks like a birds of paradise, and no birds of paradise will look like a lotus. They are all wanted because they are all different than the other. We are all different flowers growing at different rates and blooming at our own time. I’m still growing. (at Studio Share, LLC)

Christmas cheer is my favorite thing about this time of year. An antler crown and Santa socks with bells is the perfect depiction of my love for Christmas. Thank you to my 5:30 am Hot Yasa veteran Mindy 💙 (at Studio Share, LLC)

The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of those depths. -Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

When we keep our minds on our own path we might find more stability in our practice and life. Pulling our concentration from our own practice along with our desires and focusing on our neighbors, how they suffer or thrive could affect our own well-being. Why focus on someone if you don’t hope the best intentions for them? There is a necessity to appreciate where we are and not covet our neighbor’s feats. (at Studio Share, LLC)

Let your heart guide you. Let it guide you in the light and in the dark. Let love be the ember that sparks your inner fire. Burn passionately and all will be as it should. (at Studio Share, LLC)

Genuine happiness cannot be mistaken. I think when we are truly happy it might seem as if we are walking to a fast paced song, our smiles are visible even when we aren’t showing teeth using the muscles in our faces. When you spend a moment doing what you love a day, it might keep the bad thoughts away. ❤️ (at Studio Share, LLC)

A year of teaching has Taught me. I have learned to listen and take criticism without taking it as a personal downfall, to watch my students and read what they need through their body’s language, and to love my body and thank it for all that it helps me accomplish in my practice.
