First of all:

Be somewhat specific. Requesting "Fluff with xxx" is not enough for me to make something, I like requests because I don't have to come up with a plot myself.

Please send requests to my ask box. It's a lot easier for me that way.

I do not write character x character, only reader insert ones. I'll do fem!reader unless requested for gn, although if I slip up, please forgive me.

I prefer to not write things involving pregnancy/children.

I much prefer writing things where reader is in a relationship with a character, I'll do platonic too, but familial relationships are a maybe.

a/n: hi lovie, thanks so much for the amazing request!! interestingly enough, I was already thinking about an idea like this so a request for it was so cool! I play the piano myself so that's what I went with :) the piece I had in mind was waltz in c sharp minor (chopin) but you can really imagine whatever you like. I kind of made the reader a music goddess. hope that's okay and that I did sort of what you wanted! I'm super sorry if there are any mistakes, it's 1:30am and I'm tired haha. im excited though since this is the first fic I'm posting on this blog! hopefully it doesn't disappoint ✨

You are the deity of song, the divine being of all music in the world. Like Dream, you work unbeknownst to the mortals that you encounter and guide. You don't have your own realm, instead residing mostly in his. Your way of helping people is by gifting them inspiration when they have none, usually through dreams. Perhaps some peace of mind when they need it, and when you're feeling a bit mischievous, getting a song stuck in their heads. When you first met each other, it was quite early in the stages of humanity- you were walking in a garden, quietly observing the fantasy of a sleeping human.

It was beautiful. There was spring in the air. The feeling of music and love everywhere made your heart nearly stop with happiness, and you were so caught up in it that you didn't notice the presence of one of the Endless behind you. His soft voice broke you out of your reverie with a start.

"Who are you?", he asked with caution, having approached after silently observing you for some time. He was no stranger to powerful beings in his realm, some of which had distinctly unfriendly intentions.

"Dream Lord," you said as you turned, then bowed your head in respect. "My apologies for intruding in your realm. To answer your question, I am the embodiment of music. It seems that I exist mostly in your realm, although I confess I'm not entirely sure why or how. I shall take my leave, if you so wish."

He stood for a moment and studied you, taking in your slightly tired features- and yet at the same time how you seemed to be almost glowing, radiating unadulterated selfless love towards his dreamers.

He shook his head, and ever so gently said, "No. You are welcome to stay. Join me?"

And you did. You walked with him for ages. Little did you know that thousands of years later, you would still be by his side.

You were seated in front of the piano when he walked in, having just returned from the waking world. You turned and stood up almost instantly upon seeing him, eager to have your lover back in your arms. It appeared the feeling was mutual, as he wrapped his arms around you when you drew nearer.

"Hello," you said with a grin. "I've missed you, my love."

Dream smiled down at you, looking at you with more adoration than you ever thought to be possible. "Hello, darling. Were you going to play something? Don't let me stop you, please." He gave you a kiss on the cheek and let you out of his embrace.

"No, come back!" you joked, laughing. He chuckled and seated himself before motioning to the instrument.

"Did you want me to play you something?" you asked, slightly surprised. It's not that he didn't like hearing you play, definitely not. It's just that you usually ask him as opposed to the other way around. He was asking you this time, though, and that was not an opportunity you were going to pass up.

"Well then, alright," you smiled, sitting down to start. You decided to play him a waltz- he had more than likely heard it before, but that didn't matter.

He watched as your fingers slid over the keys, slowly beginning to pick up speed. He was transfixed- your beauty and expertise was unmatched, consuming his attention with ease. The way you commanded whatever piece you played with such grace and skill would never cease to render him speechless with amazement. He truly could think of nothing else as you played for him, save for how deeply he loved you.

As you finished, you looked to see his reaction. The way he gazed at you almost made you feel a little bashful after all these centuries- almost.

"That good?" you said cheekily, expecting a similarly toned reply. Instead, he walked over and kissed you on the head, whispering back a small, "That good."

James Crawford Neil a Poet.. This is the man that would have been my Grandad but never was, because of the tragic love story of my Granny Gypsy, the sister of Maire Nic Shiubhlaigh . She was the Mother , of my Father . On his way home from visiting her, he was murdered, I was always told it was by the Black and Tans, but my brother found a report writte in his own words that suggest it was a looter. , who I hope one day will publish them, somehow, in some form to honour that talented life and the unfinished love story, the link below does tell the bones of the story. The Father had all his love letters, to Granny Gyp and had always intended to do something with them, They are now with my BrotherDave Kenny Crawford Neil as we were told , tried to marry Gypsy when he was dying in Hospital but they wouldnt allow it...... Dave took my fathers book. The splendid years and revised it a few years ago, to great success and interesting to read , the two voices of father and son, in the same book. It was Maire s History and story told to my Dad. He was 18 when it was started , he went on to become a career News Journalist and Dave took it on, and further, also becoming the Journalist in the family, with most of the talents of Granny Gyp and Maire for music and the fathers talent for writing and possibly the spiritual gift of Poetry from the Grandfather that nearly was..... Although, we were all brought up with equality as a norm, I believe because of the powerful women in my Fathers life , which was not of its time and Im including my Mother as well, there had been alot of talk about me becoming a Journalist through the tried and tested method of copy boy or in my case girl. Dave ended up starting his career as a copy boy. I didn't want to be a Journalist . I am the eldest. It had been talked about alot. Maires potrait is hanging in The Abbey Theatre as she was not only a Heroine for her part in The Rising , but an accomplished Abbey Player. Granny Gyp was also an actress and another sister Annie Walker. I got Gyps talent for dance and dramatics ��� So the next time someone asks a Kenny , why we are so dramatic 📷, I think we have form............

The revised TheSplendidYears is still available, telling the story of Maires Role in the founding of the Abbey and also her role as leader of Cuman Na Mban . Interesting stuff , Powerful Women, are not a new thing, Ladies , the Dna of our Ancestors, runs through us all, GeneticsBaby Itsathing

Hopefully Dave will let the World hear Granny Gyp and Crawford Neils , story.

I'd like to say , that's only one half of the story, of Wild Women , in the Kenny Family. My mothers side is equally Heroic, albeit a different story, Oddly connected through Spirit and an Ancestral scheme. We must tell our stories and know our truths , as they are already written and past through Unions, to be carried on or for lines to finish a story and finally ascend . DivineUnions

The gross gay couple

Who is a night owl:Anže is more like the ‘fuck off i’m not sleeping’ owl (sowka means owl btw, or something like it) Nics makes sure he himself gets enough sleep and will drag Anze with him

Who is a morning person:Anže, the best time to start working is about at 6am

Are they cuddlers:Hell yeah, but it eventually gets too hot and both’s hair are in the way and oh god what if we just stay close ok

Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon:Anže is the big spoon, Nics feels safe in his strong, sturdy arms, and who can blame him

What is their favourite sleeping position:Anže’s arm under Nics’ neck and his head on Anže’s chest, his arm resting on his chest as well. Blanket somewhere far away bc it’s warm enough as it is

Who steals all the blankets:Nics, he grew up at the shore and the warm eastern winds, he’s freezing the first few nights near the mountains in the capitol. But once he gets used to it, the blanket is always gone by the time they wake up

What they wear to bed:Anže: nothing, he dislikes the tight feeling of pants and shirt in bed, and he mostly sleeps alone anyway, and rarely, and being naked is one reason he doesn’t like people seeing him sleeping. Nics wears the most loose pants he can get his hands on, he still has some dignity

Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt:Anže’s shirts look good on Nics, keep trying on that ceremonial suit next hun

Who falls asleep mid-conversation:Anže, if he’s too wasted and haven’t slept in five days

Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares:Anže, he has plenty of those

Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep:Nics, he tosses and turns quite oftern and Anže sleeps very still

Who can’t keep their hands to themself:Anže, c'mon he finally has someone to love and share his most vulberable state with

Who is a night owl:Depends a lot on what time zone they have been in the latest, but i’d see Joe staying up a bit later once the jetlag has worn off

Who is a morning person:Mae, rise and shine, she has lot of plans for today and she has to make breakfast and do her makeup before 9

Are they cuddlers:Not at first, but after dating a while and eventually moving in together they’d dp it more and more

Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon:Joe is the big spoon, and Maeve fits perfectly in his arms and she loves being hogged like that like yeeess

What is their favourite sleeping position:I’d guess facing eachother, but still keeping a bit of distance, legs touching though, not too hot but still close

Who steals all the blankets:If i remember correctly, Joe is a still sleeper, so it’ll be Mae, just a little bit though, so she can cover her butt

What they wear to bed:Maeve wears either a short night dress(this can also be joe’s t-shirt) or tank top and panties. For Joe.. boxers and t-shirt is my wild guess

Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt:Maeve is drowning in his shirts and he loves it

Who falls asleep mid-conversation:Depends again who’s more tired, but i’d imagine Joe mustering all his energy to end the conversation and head for the bed, whilst Mae would just 'ok snzzzz’

Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares:I guess if Joe has flashbacks to his battles and stuff, then he’d do it. But Mae does have nightmares too, she just doesn’t wake up to them

Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep:Joe as a rather peacefull sleeper, wakes up one night after Mae slapped his face, and thinks to himself, 'she’s still a fighter even if her light are out’ and goes back to sleep thinking that is excatly why he was drawn into her in the first place

Who can’t keep their hands to themself:I’d see them both being quite touchy-feely, especially after beinc apart for a long time and finally being able to physically show affection. Mae would just nest on his lap and just sit there hugging him and scratching his hair

Back from Fanfest!

Gosh...

That was an awesome time! I got to see Samurai unveiled live and it was exactly what I wanted: a melee dps with katana! How awesome it was to see Yoshi-P reveal himself in the Samurai cosplay huh? I was like 30 meters away from him max when he did! The guy you hear screaming so much in all vids no doubt is me, lol! Then the reveal we’re going to Othard came as an incredible surprise as well as the new housing district Shirogane! We’ll definitely try to move the WoL mansion there I’m sure!

It was amazing being able to spend time with my lovely Saya again as well. ♥ We had a hotelroom right next to the convention grounds, so we could stay as long as we wanted and sleep in as far as possible. We had so much fun together in the weekend and met up with plenty of people from Lich she all seemed to know, lol. ^^ 

The event itself was incredibly well organized. An interesting stage event switched back to back with time for mini-games and other things on the grounds perfectly. One hour walking and doing stuff, one hour stage event, etc. It also helped everything was basically in one giant hall, so you could even catch stage events if you were in the line for something else. They even hung up a big screen in the merchandise room, so you wouldn’t miss out entirely if you were in line there. And then the concerts.... they were incredible! Especially the live reveal of Rise was amazing! When they did that “time freeze” in their performance we all went wild! SOOOOOO-NIC BOOOM!!! *freezes*. Susan Colloway in Oblivion was great too see and hear too! :D

It was great seeing the devs so up close too! Too bad I constantly kept missing out on Koji-Fox though, wanted him to sign my lorebook. None the less, it really made the dev-team feel really human now. I guess this was again emphasized for me when Yoshi-P apologized deeply for the Diadem delay, which was scheduled originally to come out next week, due to a last minute bug they found. It’s been delayed by roughly one to two weeks. So patch 3.55a has a bit less content, though I’m looking forward to seeing the last step of the anima in it.

All in all, I’m glad I took the step to go to the fanfest, it has been an incredibly experience and one I’ll never forget. It definitely set the bar for future events for me in terms of sweeping up the crowd and things to to and such! Here’s to the next European fanfest, maybe in two years time! I’ll definitely want to be there!

ps. I’ll add some pics later. Too lazy to go through my phone now, lol. I didn’t take many pictures anyway, would much rather actually spend more time actually doing and seeing things. Maybe I’m old-fashioned like that, but I just didn’t want to live the event through a lens/screen now that I was physically there. xP

Well Harlei you already know quite well, pirate grandpa and inherited ship to get her started, get Hazel to tag along and steal a better ship so i won’t get too much into that

Hazel was working as an intern for some local company on the colony and doing his own little projects on the side that got his name out there, he knew Harlei from school and they have been friends for years at that point, and he had just the right amount of cyninism to go with her, he was tired of people calling him in when the pronter wasn’t working so before they set off he got himself familiar with some basic mechanics as well. And yeah he has a history of fucking up the lives of Harlei’s swings that ended badly

Tia was an assassin, but not that know or one of the best, just tia, with history of growing up alone and pretty much being adopted by the Terenlas assassins, they come from the same planet anyway. But after coming of age they decided that she’s good enough to survive on her own and that she could live with some hire money instead of what goverment would pay them. So she was sent off to citadel to dp shady business and was found by Hazel through some merchant, Valac needed some more guns in there so why not, he asked and she agreed in a heartbeat

Joa was a subject of artificial life by the terenlas scientists, trying to cross species to get the perfect individual, four arms came from Valpidians, tall stance and thick cold resistan skin from Evarians, and high tuned senses and four eyes from themselves. Sure, he looked hidious, but hey he was only third test so far they’ll get there, but he wasn’t accepted into their nation so they sent him off to serve for a ‘greater good’ he ended up in Navy. He was always plotting for escape all five years he spent there and when Harlei and Hazel came bursting through, that was the window he needed. He hopped on and they just rolled with it

Enrique was someone Hazel already vaguely knew already, he worked on the citadel with an illegal clinic, not that his intentions were bad, just, he wasn’t an approved doctor by galactoc standards and was bit too cocky in med school so he got kicked out, he knows this stuff, and he has a good knowledge of different species and their illnesses. Hazel asked his help to deal with Joa and get him into proper shape. He was very intrigued by him so he stayed longer

Those are the names usually associated with Valac but they do have some mercenaries occasianally as well as some part time crew

Maya was honestly a strange one. Her appearance was first one look for my model in gosupermodel believe it not (my last one Liilyx) and i pretty much was just snarking at people in there but in good measure not to actually hurt anyone.

Fast forward i got addicted to durarara and i don’t inow how it really came to be but i used that look for maya bc it was kinda psychedelic with cat like eyes and goggles and combat boots, jeans with onether leg ripped off and bandeau with an open jacket (and the pigtails came from there too but they were black and pink bc gosu didn’t allow pink only pigtails sniff)

She was some type of underground merchant/drug dealer in pocket of Izaya. She had a dad but no mom, and sister who never had a name but she had red hair

She was first of the six ocs i had that i just shoved into different settings like the fantasy one that later became armed asshats (she was just a regular elf then) and the steampunk one where she was pretty much Lola before Lola was Lola (others include Brianne who first looked like Siri and then Alex whp became Alez and who still looks pretty much the same and still is a blacksmith, then i had one that later became helga and one who became Nics, the sixth one i don’t remember) and this was time way before i made Leonie and Alicia as snk ocs

Fast forward again i start to like the fantasy au maya the most and her looks change quite a bit, she’s now much shorter and has more hair, and her skin is darker, and she has large ears

After making Nat and Lily (now Nayden and Sharni) the bigger picture started to form and i was just doodling and doodling until i had the whole gang

Maya still has changed quite a but from what she was when Nayden and Sharni came to be, she’s chubbier and much sadder

Personalitywise she went from a twisted sadist with a sense of humor to a cheerful little girl who knows what she’s doing to “hiding my sad with hundred layers of jokes” chubby smol bean

on graduation night, todd sees neil in a dream. it’s not the first time, but it is the only instance where neil isn’t simply part of a plot. he just…stands there. and todd knows. he knows this is as close as he will ever get to saying goodbye.

and yet, neil does not speak. it’s strange, the usually bubbly boy doesn’t say a word. and todd screams, and pleads, “i love you, i love you, say anything, please”

and when todd has yelled himself hoarse, he sits. and neil sits. and todd stares, and whispers.

“i’m sorry”

and finally, neil raises his head.

“why?”

todd laughs, rough and wet.

“i’m sorry that i wasn’t enough to keep you here.”

and he knows. he knows it’s just a dream. but oh god, when neil cups his cheek, he can feel it. he can feel the warmth and the rough fingertips and the indent of the small mole on neil’s inner arm.

“todd. todd, my love. this was never your fault”

and todd is angry. angry at himself, because he believes this dream-ghost-hallucination neil. he trusts him. because how could he not?

“i am proud of you. i am proud of everything about you. i am proud of who you are becoming.

i love you, todd anderson. do you know that?”

todd wakes with a start, and for a minute, he is confused. where is neil? why isn’t he there, in the bed beside him?

and it hits him. and he cries. as he has cried every night, and will cry every night. sobs shake his body, doubled over in bed.

15 years later, in the dedication of todd anderson’s first published book of poetry, there is a dedication.

to neil- i have never doubted your love. not once. i miss you every day
