I do think it was interesting placement to have the panels where robin is essentially asking zoro what makes him happy (what about you? so sailing the seas and exploring new lands….is your idea of adventure?) immediately followed by a panel of luffy yelling about adventure

Bianca di angelo's death was sooo... anticlimatic, predictable, and dare I say... pointless?

Her character had SO. MUCH. potential, and Rick threw all of that away to give Nico some character development, which could've been given even if Bianca hadn't died!

And you can argue, "Oh but if Bianca never died Nico wouldn't have found Hazel" and that is true, but that can also be easily fixed like, 'Nico had to get the keys to the doors of death which is located in the fields of asphodel' or something. Anything! Anything but killing Bia :(

yknow, i've said before i don't know what my favorite Nico scene is cause i like a lot of them, but i think the top two are probably Nico being introduced with "You can take your great army and shove it up your ass" and him killing Bryce Lawrence and the line of "That word ['please'] didn’t make sense to Nico. The Underworld had no mercy. It only had justice." because those two lines are core tenets of Nico's character to me.

He will tell his first monster to go fuck themself as a ten year old actively being kidnapped and he operates on a moral system based on the laws of the Underworld, not based on mortals. and that is so fascinating.

actually this is a lie the third top Nico scene is in BoTL, Nico's conversation with Minos where Nico goes "You're talking about murder" and says Murder Is Bad and Minos says "You'll learn differently as you get older." purely because that to BoO when he kills Bryce - character development. He's okay with murder now. Interesting that Minos was correct. Love that for him.

i know nobody is more pissed that calatrava bridge exists more than nico di angelo. i feel like he’s the type of venetian who walks 20 mins more than needed just to avoid it and rolls his eyes + loudly complains when he has to cross it. he is mildly entertained by that one guy who’s always there yelling conspiracy theories but just because it’s nice to have yet another reason to hate that fucking bridge
