My love for Gravity Falls is endless. As someone that lives in Oregon where it takes place, I feel like I can connect to it more than most cartoons since it feels like home. Not only that, but it's obviously not a show for kids since all the hidden adult jokes in it. It's like the perfect formula for a cartoon

OMG yes! I totally get that home feeling too! Even though it takes place in Oregon, it reminds me a lot of northern California up in the redwoods in the Eureka/Humboldt area. Especially places like The Trees of Mystery or Confusion Hill. Having been to those places and seeing it somewhat represented in a show is kind of unreal. The way everything is drawn just gives it that west coast feel. Most shows are set in other worlds that are a bit alien to most of us. This one I can look at it and believe some of the areas shown are real places.

I appreciate the humor too. I find myself having to pause episodes because I’m laughing too hard at something the characters said or did. XD
