He climbed up the fence. So far, so good. It was when he tried swing his legs over and jumped, his pants got caught on the fence. He fell face first on the other side with a groan. “FUCK!”

kelsi had a cup of cider in her hands, of course it was hard cider--this was her second cup.  she was doing her best to go slowly, since she’d accidentally taken a cup of the hard cider to begin with.  and she’d made her way to the corn maze, looking at the looming entrance of it.  it looked way bigger than it had previous years.  maybe it was because of the drink she’d been nursing, or maybe it was that it was taller this year.  but kelsi wanted to find someone to go in with her, but didn’t see anybody else she new standing around the entrance.  so she sighed, reluctantly turning around and then she spotted nick.  “nick!”  kelsi called out ( probably only a tad louder than she should have spoken ) to him, waving her free hand as she raced toward him.  “hi.  hi.”  she said, taking in a breath as she looked at him, putting her hand on his arm as she smiled.  “are you busy?  come with me in the maze!  i’m afraid if i go alone i’ll get lost in there like a bad horror movie or something.”

Fiona was exhausted, that much was for sure, but she knew that even the sleep deprivation she had been subjected to at her mother’s behest wasn’t gonna stop her from family dinner with the Bailey’s. No, not even a freight train running it’s way right through her tracks could curtail  her path young woman as she bounded down the sidewalk toward the familiar home; pumpkin pie - store bought, just like her Gram taught her - tucked safely in her hold as she panted up toward the door. Fi knew Nick probably wouldn’t mind if she just let herself in - she was sure that none of the kiddos would mind either, for that matter. But knock away she did as she finally caught her breath; weight shiftin' from one foot to the other as she waited for an answer. "Yoohoo!  Nicky! Anyone home?" Fiona called out after a few long moments, finally building up the courage to peek her head in trhough to the entryway. "I'm not early, am I?"

It was always lovely catching up with Nick. Angela had always had a soft spot for him, ever since he was younger, in the way that meant he was like a son to her. Over the years, she'd helped him out as much as she could, and she only hoped he knew just how much she appreciated him being around. So instead of going out into town, she'd invited him to come over and help her bake for the local school as a means of raising money for her charity. After all, she could use all the help she could get.

"So uh," she began, placing the first batch of cookies into her oven. "What do you do on dates?" Angela looked over to where her next ingredients lay, before clearing her throat. "Real weird question, but.. I ain't been on one in years, 'n I won't lie, I'm kinda nervous." @nickbailey​

The park situated near the town square was just a quaint and picturesque as the rest of Frostford. Sophie had only been in town two days (of which were spent moving into her studio apartment) and today was the day she would search for her ‘long lost’ half-brother. Granted, him kindly telling her to not bother coming to Frostford and that he wanted nothing to do with her made that fairly challenging. But Sophie was convinced she could change his mind once she found him. She relied on his social media check-ins to try and find places he frequented, hoping to ‘lovingly ambush’ him.

She sat on the bench, frowning, trying to refresh her phone. Service in the park was shoddy and she couldn’t load his posts. “No wonder rent here is so cheap,” she grumbled, raising her phone up. “You need smoke signals to communicate.”

Hey, uh. I hate to do this. But I’ve hit some really major roadblocks recently with getting top surgery, and I need some help. You can click through for the full story, but the tl;dr is that I’m a disabled trans man, and major dysphoria is kicking my ass mentally while binding kicks my ass physically thanks to my chronic illnesses, and I need top surgery to improve my quality of life, but I’ve run into some major roadblocks and need some help.

I need to raise $1500 for a copay thanks to the surgeon I’m going with having issues with my health insurance company in the past. Not only do I not make enough to pay that (my only real income rn is from my small Etsy shop), my savings just got almost entirely wiped out from some medical bills.

I really need some help with this, yall, and it would mean a lot to me if you can help out. I know that the holidays can be a tight time for everyone, but even reblogging or spreading the word elsewhere can really help. And if you want to support me but can’t justify not getting anything in return, here’s a link to my Etsy shop where I sell handmade soaps. Thank you so much; any and all help is greatly appreciated.
