I don't like leather and don't like gourmands, but I can get behind this leather gourmand if we want to call it that. It's Dzing! by L'Artisan Parfumeur. It picks up the benzoin where Candy left off and takes the sweets to the circus. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When you first spray it, you definitely get a blast of the barnyard and cotton candy mixed together, maybe you’re at a kid's birthday party at the petting zoo. The barnyard smell is thanks to castoreum but also hay which brings a sweetness. There's a bit of a skanky musk, a waxiness, and powdery sweet benzoin. Hello fragrance lovers and friends. What are you wearing today ? For me, i had to go with a true beauty called Timbuktu by @lartisanparfumeur ! This has a fun and surprising green sour mango note and a true exotic feel with incense and african spices. In fact, this fragrance is meant to capture the smell and feel of africa and the tradition of fragrancing clothes with incense. The papyrus adds a unique dry papery feel with a lively playful vetiver. The Myrrh, benzoin and other incenses create a full and smooth airyness. The patchouli adds a little bit of a fancy elegance, but is barely noticeable. Overall this is a really charming fragrance that was made by one of the best perfumers ever. Top notes are Mango, Pink Pepper and Cardamom; middle notes are Incense, Papyrus and Karo Karounde; base notes are Vetiver, Myrhh, Patchouli and Benzoin. This fragrance comes in at 100ml for 170 dollars, a fair price indeed. The brand's most celebrated fragrance . And I can see why though. When a fragrances brings a brand so much joy , success and sets a celebratory mood , it gets one thinking is it worth it? Should I try it? Alright let me find out the notes & price for this fragrance? Ok fine too much .....let me get a sample first, let me live with it for a while and then I will decide.

And after all the trials and errors is it still worth it? Yes 100%. There is something enigmatic about this woody, warm, spicy, extremely balsamic, powdery, vanillic scent, something so far and distant but still doesn't lose the sight of familiarity and relatability .
