HELP NEED BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS

I want the vibe where the guy likes the girl first. But not in the typical borderline predatory sports romance way were he propositions her she says no but then he keeps trying until she says yes bc deep down she really does like him. In like they start being friends (or hooking up) but he’s a lot more open about the fact that he likes her. more like not the kind of girl by siobhan Vivian. My chemical romance alexene follman. The Game Can't Love You Back Karole Cozzo. The stand on boyfriend Emma Doherty. Not here to be liked Michelle quach. Ideally set in college but I understand that not a lot of those books exist so high school is ok. Thank you!!
