BREAKING NEWS! ((AIDEN BURKE)) who looks an awful lot like ((ALDIS HODGE)) has just been seen around Nuntium House. Aiden Burke is the second son of five children. Anton and Alaina Burke had met in college - both pursuing law degrees. They didn’t start on their family till they were well-established in their careers and then their five kids came quickly. 

With an older brother and three younger sisters, Aiden never grew up lonely. Of course the siblings didn’t always get along but they were definitely always there for each other. Aiden quickly became the peacemaker and rational thinker of the family. He didn’t have the ego of being the eldest, nor the entitlement or competitiveness of his younger sisters. 

Aiden’s parents were very much focused on their kids education and college was a non-negotiable goal. So, Aiden did well at school. He was an intelligent boy and his level-headed, charismatic demeanour meant he was well liked too. He breezed through school with a bucketload of curricular’s like sports and violin. 

His hard work paid off and he got accepted into all his top choice colleges. Unfortunately, Aiden wasn’t sure what he wanted to do yet. He eventually chose Stanford with the intention to follow in his parents footsteps. Law school was the way to go!

Though he thought about staying at Stanford for law school, he eventually moved across the country to NYC after being accepted into Columbia Law. 

After graduating and passing the Bar, he interned for a year at a prestigious law firm in Manhattan. Eventually though, he missed home and moved back across the country to Los Angeles. 

It was there that he begin working for his father’s firm - learning everything that he could. Aiden found that there was just something special about working by his father’s side. (Passing the California Bar with ease.) 

He did such great work for his father that eventually he moved up to the San Fransisco office Burke+Turner. 

And it was in San Fransisco that Aiden fell in love. He’d been in relationships and in love before but this was different. Anya Mendez was pretty much the woman of his dreams. 

Their eyes caught across the court room and Aiden was done for. It took a little while, but eventually he pursued and wooed Anya. 

Six months of courtship and they were at the Courthouse! This time for them. Getting married in the very place they first met. It was all so romantic. 

His family were surprised, of course. He doesn’t do rash but this whirlwind romance was definitely that! Still, they saw how happy Anya made him and accepted her wholeheartedly into the family.

Once the dust had settled the Burke family threw Aiden and Anya a celebratory party as an engagement/wedding/reception all in one. 

They lived in a perfectly blissful bubble for about a year. Until it burst. Aiden thought everything was good, he thought he and Mina were on the same page. He’d wanted to start talking about children because he’d always wanted a solid family, just like his own. But things weren’t perfect - Anya began pulling away and Aiden didn’t know what to do about it all. 

Anya left. Just up and left him one day. It broke Aiden’s heart. 

At first he was frantic, he couldn’t understand what had happened. But then the anger set in. Aiden wasn’t often an angry man but Anya leaving had changed things a little. He still loved her of course, but he was angry and a little resentful. 

Eventually though, after about a year of silence he decided he needed to find her. Even if she didn’t want to be with him anymore, he couldn’t just leave things in limbo. He used a PI (someone the firm used) to try and find out where she went. He was determined to settle things between them: whether that meant divorce or reconciliation, he wasn’t sure. 

Three months or so ago, he finally got the news about Anya’s whereabouts. He sought her out and to his dismay, she didn’t want to reconcile. Instead, they started on divorce proceedings. 

Now, that he’s had such a big upheaval in his life, Aiden’s moved to New York City to start afresh. Taking a job with the Nuntium legal department, on the recommendation of his old law school mentor. He’s just hoping that he can rebuild his life after the whirlwind that was Anya.

 It’s always been easy for Kal to feel alienated from his family. He was adopted, the trauma from his parents’ death making him skittish, sensitive, and prone to lashing out. He spent two years in the foster system, being moved from house to house ever few months until he was adopted by a well off family with two children of their own. He was shy, quietly stewing in his anger from the time he was small. They asked him once, when he was seven, if he wanted to change his surname to match theirs, he declined.

The only place he really felt seen was in the ballet classes his parents put him in at a young age. They wanted it to lead into tap and then singing lessons, and then acting lessons to go along with his guitar lessons, the way of all Hollis children, but Kal refused, instead begging to be enrolled in more classes so that he could simply catch the bus to the academy immediately after school rather than pack into the family car with his siblings. And so it was that Kal spent most of his time from the age of seven to thirteen going from home to school, school to the academy, lugging his guitar on his back and clutching it tightly against his thigh as he took the bus back home, only to repeat the cycle again in the morning. His dedication got him noticed, and after a spring recital he was offered a spot at the Joffrey Conservatory program in the fall after his fourteenth birthday.

He left San Diego with little preamble. He had little holding him there and New York was a land of possibility. Kal lived in the dorms, went to school with his fellow dancers and wrote half-hearted postcards and quick phone calls back home.

The years would go by without much of a hassle. Kal fell in love with the city, found a place he felt like he belonged and and was invited to audition with NYCB the spring before his 18th birthday.

He worked incredibly hard but coasted until he met his current partner, an accidental partner switch-up leading to him finding another dancer who understood him just as well as he understood himself. He was promoted not long after their first stint as opposite leads together and got a nice salary raise to boot. He still has to share his apartment with his two roommates, Nate and Delilah, but the building actually has a doorman now, which Kal sees as an absolute win. Lately, due to the beginning of the season, Kal has been chosen as the face of City Ballet and spends more time than he would like to admit coming and going from photophoots and interviews at Final Score, Scarlet, and Title Eight.

Background 

Henri was born to two loving mothers, one an environmental science professor and one a physics professor. Both came from well off families and as such Henri rarely wanted for much of anything. He was planned, meticulously, and his childhood followed suit. He was placed in the best schools, and with the best tutors, he had the best toys, and the best room and Henri felt suffocated. 

He felt that was for as long as he could remember, really. 

He loves his mothers, and all that they’ve done for him, but he’s glad, now, to be out from under their thumb. 

He went to school and got his Masters before he decided to study in the Antarctic. For six months he lived in the most inhospitable place on earth, and he found that he loved it. He became obsessed with adventure after that, climbing Everest the next summer. By then he had begun dipping his toes into documenting his journeys to advocate for environmental policies throughout the world. 

He even filmed a reality tv show about his summit of K2, after which he relocated to New York, where he met his current husband, Nate Jones. 

The dancer was kind, and fun, and he never made Henri feel trapped, until he did, and Henri ran off on his latest expedition, where he’s been filming a documentary about his experiences in the South Pole. 

Now he’s back in New York City with a new job and his own column in Horizon magazine.

Ever since she was a young girl, Nora liked computers. It fascinated her that such machines spoke a completely different language, yet they were involved in just about everything. They were responsible for people landing on the Moon, they were responsible for the pretty pictures that were on TV, they were responsible for just about everything that helped people out. Heck, computers were responsible for creating other computers, and the idea alone felt surreal.

Always being a curious girl, Nora picked up programming as soon as she could. She had a head on her shoulders, and while her grades were great, her main focus was on computers. Soon enough, once she was capable, she began breaking into various places; at first, it was her school’s servers, because the girl wanted to change a couple of not-so-perfect grades. She got out without being caught, and that fueled her curiosity.

Hacking became a hobby for Nora. If she saw a movie that was still in the cinemas, she made a challenge for herself to find it online, to break where she shouldn’t break into, and watch it without spending a single penny. Granted, her family had more than enough money to go to the cinema and watch said movie, but that wasn’t the point for Nora. It was all small-time challenges that she took on, having the time of her life and learning more than she did in school.

Eventually, at the age of sixteen, she caught the attention of a group who took it upon themselves to reveal the secrets of the rich, of the companies who cared only about themselves and no one else. Nora was fascinated; if she could use her skills (and improve further) to aid the masses in realizing just how awful some people and companies were, then she could at least hope that what she was doing wasn’t just some petty crimes.

During all of this, Nora still graduated school with top grades and went on to university. It was only natural that she ended up picking programming, knowing that she was absolutely capable even if a lot of the things she had done weren’t exactly something that she could put on her resume or letter to the university. Even during her university years, Nora  continued on with her side job, learning more than she did anywhere else, and cracking down more cases than she ever thought she would.

As expected, it didn’t take too long for things to turn sour. Nora and the group she was working for were bound to slip up soon, and yet, when the feds burst into her apartment one day, she was still absolutely shocked. Her parents hired the best lawyers to defend her, make sure that all went fine. Naturally, they were furious, but it was all about keeping up with their reputation rather than trully scolding their daughter for what she’s done.

Her talent was recognized, and despite the long list of crimes she had committed, she was given an offer; years, decades in jail, or working for the right guys. With the awful labor shortage in this field, Nora knew that she could get out with the right attitude, and so, after barely any consideration, she accepted the offer. She still had to do plenty of community service to “learn the lesson”, but it was better than ruining her life completely.

It was then that Nora became an ethical hacker. It was different from the way she used to do things, but after a little bit of adjustment, she finally began picking projects up. It was part of the agreement, part of the reason why she had gotten a get-out-of-jail-free card. Another part of the agreement was also getting a job at one of the companies she had screwed over.

After a bit of investigation, she finally agreed to work for the company that owned one of the skyscrapers in NYC. It was the Nuntium Publishing House, and after a bit of negotiation, Nora agreed to be the Assistant IT Director. She loathed the idea of working with people, for people, but the role she had been given seemed to minimize the need to interact with them, and she still had someone above her who could keep an eye on her.

Monique was born Monique Jeanine Williams to Ronald and Paula Williams. Monique was born only 18 months after her brother. They were so close in age, they basically grew up as twins. 

Her mother was a former model and her father a pro-athlete, Monique and her brother grew up in a certain kind of luxury. That only grew as her father retired and set up his own business. 

Constantly fawned over about how pretty she was Monique never put much stock into her schoolwork. Instead, she got by constantly on her looks. 

With her school career lacking, she never formally graduated high school. At 16 years old she began modelling and her career took off. Of course, it helped that her mother was a very well known supermodel - she truly was a nepotism baby all the way. 

Her late teens and early twenties were spent jet-setting and modelling in exotic locations. It was easily a life that she’d become very accustomed too. Though she would always come back to her home base of New York City.

Her brother had followed in their fathers footsteps and was also a pro-athlete. With both their celebrity profiles rising, Monique and her brother very often shared the same social circle and group of friends. 

It was because of this that Monique started dating athletes. A cliché for sure but she didn’t particularly mind. Unfortunately, she was starting to be known as a serial wag. 

Until, she met Dante Collier. She fell madly in love with him and he with her. It took some time but eventually they got married in 2019. 

Since their marriage, Monique has decided that she’s wanted something a little more stable in the work department. She knows she can’t model forever and she doesn’t want to be in and out of the country so often now that she’s married either. 

So, through a friend of her mothers, she got a job as the assistant fashion director at Scarlet magazine. A magazine she’s been on the cover of several times in her career.

On January 21, 1996, Liliana Frøya Taylor was born to Mørthen Valen and Claire Taylor. She had a blissful, privileged, easy early childhood, and from her first day, it was clear that girl was spoilt rotten.  She was the couple’s perfect baby girl and could do absolutely nothing wrong.  She was the couple’s sole daughter and their little princess.  So, she was to be treated as such.  She knew she had her father wrapped around her finger, and she used it to her advantage. She could ask for something, and not even two hours later, there it would be. She spent her childhood ordering those around her to do what she wanted to do and if they told her no, they were in for it.  She would throw temper tantrums and scream until she got what she wanted.  No has never been a word that the girl understood.

late childhood:

The once loving family quickly went up in flames. It started when her younger half-brother came into the family’s picture. Her dad had a son which Lily wasn’t particularly thrilled about. It took the attention away from her which she hated. She didn’t want to share her dad with anyone but it was the first time she hadn’t gotten her way. Her brother was in her life whether she liked it or not. So, she tolerated him in front of her father but ignored him otherwise. At age Thirteen, her parents went through a divorce, and her mother won custody of the young girl. Her mother wanted all ties to be severed with the man. So, she had Lily’s last name changed and moved them to Los Angeles. Her mother loved to hold control and made sure her mother made sure to paint Morthen as a father who did not care. Some of the words she would speak about the man would be true and some weren’t. Though they were believable to Liliana. In the young teen’s eyes, her father was the reason she had to start her entire life right before high school. She hated the surface-level conversations she would be forced to have with him.

As time continued Liliana hoped her father would realize that she was just angry and try and reach out, but he never did. This left the girl destroyed on the inside, but she would never tell anyone.  Even from a young age, she was far too proud to admit someone had hurt her.  The sadness turned to anger towards her father. She stayed angry at her father and showed him her vengeful side.

During this time,  Lily had matured. She no longer relied on tantrums to achieve what she wanted; instead, she focused on her skills of manipulation and deceitfulness. She made her way through high school, where she was effectively the queen bee.  She knew how to handle herself and the others around her to make her stay on top of the social pyramid.  She was too smart for her own good and could think about two steps ahead.  She prided herself on not allowing anyone to dethrone her. 

With the help of her mother she entered into the modeling world, and Lily was a natural. Her mother controlled every aspect of her life. Liliana needed to be perfect at all times. Perfect grades, perfect clothes, perfect makeup, perfect hair, perfect friends. Her mother had raised her to be a mini-version of herself. If things were astray it would lead to comments such as “you are just like your father. i work so hard for you but you don’t care.“ The comments she would hear broke her because deep down all she wanted to do was make her parents proud of the person she was becoming. As the comment continued to come Lilly developed an unhealthy relationship food and body dysmorphia. She wanted to look perfect but couldn’t help but find every flaw both real and imaginary. She never brought up how she was feeling to anyone because she needed to keep up her image of her self-confidence and confronting the issues made her feel weak and vulnerable.

She had recently graduated with a bachelor’s in business management from UCLA when she decided she could no longer take expectations of her mother. She needed to get and move somewhere new. After much debate, it was settled that Liliana would be moving to New York City without her mother. She explained to her mother that she just wanted to go because of the modeling opportunities that were only available in New York.  She had been successful in LA with modeling, and she wanted to continue climbing the ladder, so it seemed believable. But, the truth was Lily was unable to tell why she decided to go back to the place she was born. She could’ve chosen any city.  It was true she wanted to climb the ladder in the modeling world, but she knew that wasn’t the whole reason.  She left her father out of the decision of moving back and figured she would run into him sooner or later. She honestly didn’t care what he thought of the idea and she had always been partial to the dramatic entrance. On top of that, she wasn’t going to be the one to call first. She refused. She was still angry that she was left behind while her brother got their dad’s attention that she craved growing up. So, she decided she would make her move a surprise of sorts. One that would force him to talk to her once again.

Whatever the reason was, Liliana Taylor is back in NYC, ready to see where this chapter takes her.

Born and raised in Caldwell, Texas, Nate is a one of the middle children from a family of six. His parents got married when they were seventeen, just months before his first sibling was born, and they are married to this day. Happy or not, that is up for discussion, however it’s one that no one is allowed to bring up.

The family had inherited a farm from his grandparets, and that was where Nate had spent most of his time in. Whenever he wasn’t in school, he was working there, and whenever he wasn’t working there, he was dancing.

It was a hobby of his that his parents didn’t really tolerate. There weren’t many classes he could pick up without his parents prohibiting him, but Nate tried his best. He tried out many different styles of dancing, even picking up gymnastics and a couple martial arts classes, before ballet eventually caught his eye; and yet, it was the one style his parents disapproved of the most. However, no matter how much his parents tried to steer him towards professions they would approve of, Nate was passionate, and all he wanted was to dance.

All of it, eventually, boiled down to a single, explosive argument. His parents refused to accept that their son had different views and wishes than what they wanted him to have, and, eventually, an ultimatum was made; either succumb to their choices, or no longer live under their roof. Packing up whatever belongings he had, Nate took one last glance at his family, and left.

His first few weeks were spent wandering around Texas, sleeping rough and barely going through the days, until eventually, the young man decided that New York was the place to go. It was the place were all the dreams came true, so why couldn’t he attempt just that for himself?

Dreams, however, didn’t help him have an easy life there. Couch surfing was what he did for the first few months until eventually landing a job- anything worked- and finding a stepping stone to start his life in the city. Once he had his own bed, it was time to start with auditions, and Nate was adamant. Achieving what he wanted took a lot of hard work, but the young man was set on doing it, on getting what he wanted, and nothing could stop him.

Nothing, of course, apart from multiple rejections. Not having a proper education- having had not even finished high school- Nate was rejected left and right. It was difficult, trying to achieve what he wanted, so when he made friends with another guy with similar wishes, Kal, it was like a blessing. Kal helped him with everything, supporting him and earning himself Nate’s gratitude for an eternity. It was through Kal that Nate got a job at  NYCBC, and it was more than he could have ever asked for.

Still, that didn’t mean that he was successful. More often than not, he was either the understudy for Kal or a background dancer, but he was on the stage, and he was doing what he wanted. It didn’t pay much, and he had to find a job as a waiter to support himself through it, but all of it was worth it.

Neither did that mean that Nathaniel wasn’t making mistakes left and right. Exploring his sexuality, he got to be as open as he wished to be. That was, at least, until he came across the one guy who caught his eye, also capturing his heart. The two were reckless, and carefree, and after a year of dating and a drunken night together, they decided to get married. It was crazy how easy it was to do that, and before Nate knew it, he was a married man.

It was only after the marriage that the two of them moved in together, finally making an attempt at a family life. Holden is a simple country boy, or at least that’s what he’ll tell you if you ask and with his worn Levi’s and thick southern accent it’s easy to believe that he fits the southern gentleman role he’s cultivated for himself between pleases and ma’ams. There’s a lot more to him though. He’s a troubled guy, in and out of juvie for various misdeeds ranging from hotwiring his teacher’s car to beating another student so badly that he spent weeks in the hospital afterwards. His parents were absent, at best, his dad in and out of jail in a parallel to his son and his mom too busy caring for her ailing mother to realize that her son needed help. He joined the army as soon as he turned eighteen and was dishonorably discharged not three years later after taking the fall for another soldier.

He tried to go straight after that, drifting and taking odd jobs as he traveled along the eastern coast, until he met his now ex-fiancé. She was kind and she listened to him and he didn’t feel so much like the trash people had convinced him he was when he was with her, but he’s always been self-destructive and he ruined that the same way he’s ruined everything else in his life. He began an affair with her best friend, a stupid mistake that he still regrets, and ended up getting caught not long after.

But that’s just how things go.

Now he’s living in the Bronx, working as a clerk at the Nuntium bodega. After a drunken dare, he started an only fans account.
