This International Women's Day, we could not conduct a rally due to the COVID19 norms. A week long Workshops on Womens Rights, importance of Gender Equality and breaking Gender Stereotypes were organised at the centres. Today the workshops were concluded by letting our participants paint, draw and sketch to bring their emotions and thoughts out on a paper. We have dozens of pictures but sharing a few with you. Sometimes our Western audience and visitors coming from bigger cities were amazed and surprised how our participants were learning; how fabric was measured by hands and cutting of patterns done on the floor. Sharing some pictures with you from today taken at our centres to show you the circumstances and no compromise with the productivity of the participants. They are simply brilliant. We have noticed the traditional methods and sitting arrangements chosen by the participants is convenient and gives them the feeling of equality. We have tried hard with providing fabric cutting tables, providing pins and needles but it just does not work with a lot of them.
