Didn’t make into finalist but I’m happy with it! This is my tribute to my favourite expansion!

A Gratuitous Goodbye

The Heart of the Raven opened it's doors in 2017, beginning as a small tavern in Tol Barad, Rustberg Village, but over time began to grow. Began to branch out, drawing in patrons from all across Azeroth, and eventually, building a village, a new life on this seaside island town. As the island grew, so did the tavern, rebranding itself as you all know now -- Blackbird Brewery.

We let ourselves flourish, and atop hosting weekly tavern events we started a nightclub, a market, and a catering business. We got involved with the community, made connections, friendships, business partners, and much more, and every step of the way we had you all beside us, from those who worked alongside and those who became regular faces to see.

Our hearts are heavy, and we've loved every minute of being involved with this community of roleplayers, but it's time for us to step back, and take a break. Blackbird Brewery, as a guild, is retiring for now, but as a staple of the roleplay community the tavern doors are always open, as our founder Vynix never truly plans to let the village slip away and will be behind the scenes for the Blackbird Brewery to stay as a proxy location if any wish to use it as such.

Now, this is where we ask you to help us with our final send-off, for us to close up with sharing our gratitude. We are going to host one, final event on January 16th (Sunday), where we are inviting everyone who has supported us over the years to come by and enjoy the fruits of our labor. We will have live music, open bars, food, vendors and giveaways. We will have giveaways from in-game items to out of game art pieces provided by us and those in our guild, but we are also reaching out to anyone who may wish to participate and also add to our pool of prizes. All of these giveaways are to you, the community, to show our thanks for the years of support and enjoyment you've given us.

We're still ironing out all the details of this final send off, but more is soon to come, so keep an eye out on our tumblr, twitter, and discord. If you have any questions, or wish to be a helping participant, you can contact our guild master, VynixNostra#7777 on discord. And once again, thank you. We love and appreciate you all for these glorious years of roleplay and allowing us to be a name in the event community.
