1. Lauren Sinclair: OHH OUR QUEEN FRR she's such an interesting character, with her defined flaws and trauma! writing complex characters, especially mcs, is not easy at all (for me at least :P lmao) but the way it was executed for lauren? chefs kiss fr 9/10

2. Kieran White: how can one man be so sweetly soft yet intimidatingly hot at the same time??? moreover he's so fucking terrifying when he needs to holy shit. his character arc from being a cocky bastard (powerless reference to those who care hehe) with no affection for anyone in his heart in s1, to being this wholesome member of the apd gang who actually now cares for others was so satisfying to witness as well! aND THE WAY HES ACTUALLY SCARED FOR LAUREN'S WELLBEING??? 😭 9/10

3. Kym Ladell: UGH OK BADDIE I STAN YOU SO HARD. she's such a vibrant and fun character lmaooo i was literally craving for scenes with kym! shes so adorably immature as well, who definitely brings light into lauren, will, lukas and everyone else's dark life. her sass? TOP TIER I TELL YOU. (it's fighting for first place against lukas' sass fr). i just love how during times of crisis, she's actually mature and often takes command, being completely serious and concentrated towards her mission! talk about duality lmao. but ngl it's kinda sad how she uses this childish behaviour to hide her own pain of losing daena, and trauma over nearly losing her friends. shes just so brilliant 😭❤ 10/10

4. William Hawkes: ngl at first i thought will was just a buzzkill, but he's actually so sweet and caring, especially towards lauren and kym (tho idk if he'll ever admit to being constantly worried for his wifey, i mean, sergeant hehe 🤭) his story at home is also so sad, with his father being a hella sus estranged fella, his mother seeing nothing but his brother in him, and rafael fucking running away. seeing him cry over nearly losing his sister-figure (lauren) and wife (kym), and over rafael's betrayal made me sympathise with him. poor baby doesn't deserve it at all :( 8/10

5. Lukas Randall: omg the sass. the grumpy aura. the completely out of pocket death threats to the coworkers he absolutely loves to death. the badass-ness while taking down the phantoms at the warehouse. the only calm moments of him around lila (THEYRE SO FUCKIN CUTE 😭) and the legitimately sly happy look on his face while making kym do dumb shit for blackmail? top tier man, ill tell u that for free 🤣🤣🤣 he just needs more screentime and i would absolutely devour more of his screentime! 7/10

6. Lila Desroses: she's so cute and underrated i can't 😭 the way she's so nice and polite to everyone! and the way she cares for old mr grumpy cat over here, to the point she literally stayed by his bedside throughout the night when he was in a coma 😭❤ soph and eph, im begging you to please make her shine more just like the rest of the apd gang! but please for the love of mr brussel sprouts don't let anything bad or traumatic happen to her istg- 6/10

7. Belladonna Davenport: im not gay but goddamn. she's fine asf! especially when she's murdering people: sheesh. also her pink hair and makeup is legit so pretty, like girlie lend me your beauty secrets- but anyway, as a character, she's so fuckin unhinged it's actually funny. also her lil sibling-like banters with kieran? pure gold fr 😹 8/10

8. Detective March: this little bitch. he was so wholesome during his entire introduction, and then he goes out and reveals hes been siding with the fucking phantom scythe this whole time? and his reason is what - the royals suck and the apd is incompetent? i agree about the royals part, but apd being incompetent? omg i wonder how that couldve happened. totally not because of fucking traitors like you and that wimp harvey jabbering all their plans to the ps, right? lookie here guys, here goes another one of lauren's father figures down the drain, how fun. really hoping for ph to continue so i can see what truly happened with him on the ship's edge (who shot him, i wanna thank you.) 2/10

9. Captain Hermann: ugh i hate him and his attitude towards lauren. he may be good, but that doesn't justify him belittling lauren every chance he gets. the only thing that redeemed him was him promoting lauren to detective again. 4/10

You jump in your sleep, waking abruptly to find yourself still laying in your bed. You look around for a moment, assuring yourself that nothing seems amiss before exhaling and closing your eyes again.

You’re not entirely sure what you had dreamed about, but you knew it was enough to startle you. The dream disappeared almost as soon as you woke up, but it left behind a lingering feeling of somebody watching you…

The clock read 2:05 am. Too early for you to get up and start your day.

You tried falling back asleep, but you felt even more unsafe with your eyes closed. You wouldn’t be able to see if anyone came up on you…

You jumped slightly at the wind pushing a branch against your window. You let out a breath of relief when you realized it was nothing, attempting to fall back asleep.

Not even a minute later you heard scratching, which continued on for a few moments before you heard footsteps scampering away. A squirrel.

You needed to calm down. You’re getting in your own head and freaking yourself out. You can feel your heart hammering in your chest.

You decide to take a small walk around your apartment, getting out of bed and turning on the lights before pacing a few times. No more sounds were heard, and you had calmed down a bit so you decided to go back to sleep.

Upon getting comfortable, an airplane flew over your building, scaring the living daylights out of you. You let out an exasperated breath, laying on your back for a moment before grabbing your headphones.

You played an instrumental playlist you had, hoping it would calm you down and you could sleep again.

Except you kept pausing it every couple of seconds because you keep hearing noises.

You eventually decided to veto the music idea, putting your headphones back on your nightstand before checking the time.

2:57 am.

You had already been up for almost an hour worrying about nothing.

You grabbed the plastic bottle from your nightstand and drank, but that only woke you up more.

You definitely weren’t getting to sleep anytime soon.

You mindlessly began scrolling through TikTok, continuously sending your boyfriend the links to watch when he wakes up.

What completely slipped your mind was that he was the world’s lightest sleeper, and that your messages were the only ones that came through the do not disturb barrier he had on at all times.

You quickly opened his messages to apologize, forgetting what you were originally going to do as soon as the keyboard was staring at you.

Instead you went on a bit of a rant about why you were awake, adding in some lighthearted and friendly vocabulary to make it seem like it wasn’t a problem.

You clicked off your phone, determined to no longer text Armin and bother the little sleep he gets.

Except not even five minutes later you heard the hinges on your front door creak, and soon after you saw Armin in your doorway.

He was still wearing his pajamas, a white T-shirt and black sweats, and he looked exhausted. You couldn’t see him well in the dim light of your room, but you could tell he was tired by his sluggish movements.

“Armin,” you said, sitting up. “I told you not to worry about it and go back to sleep.”

“No, it’s fine.” He yawned, bringing a hand up to cover his mouth. “I couldn’t sleep anyways.”

He had a mild German accent during the day. You couldn’t hear it unless you were listening for it or he was speaking German, but now, while he was tired and delirious, it was much more prominent.

He took a couple steps to your bed, holding something out to you. “Here’s salt for your weird tradition thing.”

“It’s not weird,” you defended, taking the salt shaker from his hand. “Armin, go back home and sleep. I’m fine, I promise. You don’t need to worry about me.”

He shook his head, humming. “Nope. I’m already here.”

“Then take my bed and sleep. I’ll go in the living room so you can rest without noise or disturbance. You sound tired.”

“I’m wide awake, mein Schatz. I’m not tired.” He yawned again, turning to walk out of your room. “I’m gonna make you tea.”

You sighed, removing the blankets from yourself and standing up to follow him into the hallway. “Armin, go to sleep. It’s obvious you’re tired, and you don’t get much sleep anyways. I don’t want to make you get less than you already do…”

He turned, suddenly wrapping his arms around you and lifting you up. He walked back to your room, ignoring your continuous protests. He laid you back down, hovering above you for a moment.

“I don’t mind not getting sleep if it’s because of you.” Looking at his face, he didn’t seem tired. His blue eyes were clear and wide open, but you could see the light circles under them from this close. “Du bist meine Liebe, und ich liebe dich mit meinen ganzen Wesen. Let me do this for you.”

Sometimes when he was tired he forgot words in English, so he spoke to you in German. You didn’t know what he was saying, and it often times didn’t matter since it was mostly babbles about how much he loved you, but you sometimes got the basic jist of it.

“I feel bad, though. You already don’t sleep great,” you said.

“And that’s okay. I want to do this for you, so let me.”

You stared at him for a moment, admiring the look he had in his eyes and the way his jaw was set.

“Fine. But promise you’ll lay down and get sleep after.”

He softly smiled at you. “I will, mein Schatz.”

He left a lingering kiss on your forehead before pushing himself up and leaving your room. You heard a few things knock together in the kitchen, and you let out an exasperated breath. You almost hated that he was always so willing to sacrifice his own well being for yours.

Armin was carrying a light blue mug when he came back. You sat up as he set it on your nightstand.

“Thank you,” you said. You grabbed his hand as he was pulling it away from the mug, leaving a soft kiss on his fingertips.

He smiled at you. “Did you eat some of your Voodoo-Zauber salt?”

“Amor, I swear to god it works and it’s normal.” You jokingly rolled your eyes, reaching for the salt shaker. “But no, not yet.”

Armin shrugged, climbing over you to lay down beside you. “I don’t know. I sounds like a quick way to get dehydrated.”

“You drink water with it, pendejo,” you joked, laughing as you poured a small amount of the fine white salt into your palm.

“How dare you call me a pendejo.” Armin laughed, moving under your blankets and wrapping an arm around your lap as you took the salt like a shot. “You’re so pretty, you know that?”

You smiled as you brushed your hands together and reached for the mug on your nightstand. “You’re very pretty, too,” you replied before taking a sip of the lavender tea. You gently rubbed his arm while returning the cup to its position, readjusting yourself to lay down beside him.

He moved his arm to your waist, pulling you so you laid flush against him. He rested his head against your chest, breathing in your scent.

“Ich liebe dich.”

You smiled, kissing the top of his head. “Yo tambien te amo. Now go to sleep, okay?”

He nodded, softly kissing you. “You, too.”

You hummed, beginning to run your hands through his short blond hair to help him doze off. He did so quickly, his soft snores being the only sound filling the air.

You smiled, leaving a ghost of a kiss on his head so you didn’t wake him before allowing yourself to fall asleep as well.

Kodai - she was too stunned to speak when she first heard her first name in her crushes voice in a teasing way. She just kinda looked away with a light blush the whole time.

Shishida - ya know that feeling when someone flirts with you and you dont realize til days later. Thats what happened with shishida. At first he just told you it was a bit informal but a week later he stayed up, staring at the ceiling late at night trying to figure out if you were flirting or not

Shoda - he instantly starts blushing and can barely look his crush in the eye for a while after that. He'll randomly remember it throughout the week and randomly start blushing all over again.

Pony - she didnt notice that you called her by her first name because thats what shes used too back in America but she realized about a week later and randomly becomes flustered when she released.

Tsubaraba - he becomes a bit red before he tries to tease you back. (Probably the same way your teasing him) but it ended up not working at all which makes him blush even more from embarrassing himself.

Tetsutetsu - he instantly becomes completely red. You didnt think it was possible for someone to get that red in the face but somehow tstsu did it. He can barely handle being next to his crush so being teased by them? Its surprising he didnt pass out with how fast his blood went to his face. (I think thats what blushing is idk tho im not a doctor lmaoo)

Tokage - she blushed and looked away for a moment before she started to slowly and steadily tease her crush back. It was hard for her to tease them without her blush growing more apparent by the second.

Manga - o-o he freezes up with a silly little surprised face while he just stares at you dumbfounded. Hes lost in thought and flushed practically all day after that.

Honenuki - he just gets the cutest little blush as he looks away a little embarrassed. Other than that he doesn't react much but he will be calling you by your first name from now on.

Bondo - he freezes in place and starts to almost fold on on himself instantly. He becomes incredibly red when you called him by his first name and the more you stand there asking if hes okay the more red he gets.

Ok so right off the bat the venue was utter shite... plymouth pavilions need to sort out their shit tbh i already mentioned how the line was INSANELY large & took probs like 35 mins to get thru which is ridiculous like not all the seats were even filled and yet they seemed so overwhelmed by the amount of people !? Like brother in my brother of sister daniel you fucking sold those tickets !?!?

2nd frustrating venue thing was they didn't allow u to bring water in & like yeh i should have checked before hand but like they wouldn't even let me bring in my empty bottle (thankfully loads of other people left theirs outside so I just put mine there) & there wasn't even like any obvious place to get a glass of water from (the whole venue was a fucking maze it was v confusing)

& cos of those 2 things I went into the show with a generally shitty mood (not helped by me being tired cos I did a lot of travelling & general stressing today)

Amd all of that to say that I'm ready to think that a lot of my immediate takeaway from the show was influenced (ha!) by this cos... guys I was sorta kinda disappointed? OK not rly disappointed that's too strong a term, but just like...idk... I can't think of any other term pfft

Like dont get me wrong it was super fun! I loved a lot of the segments (boxing one was brilliant lol, I wish the confessions one had gone on for longer just so we had more of the MAJESTY of sister Daniel (legit had a kinda holy experience seeing her irl ngl), role model/alternative versions of dnp was a rly fun bit too, loved the ending song ofc, Phil! Just phil being phil! Like words can't describe how legit amazing (ha!) That man is fr (Dan is great too of COURSE and his energy was SO good!), also in general the look of it was rly great! In general honestly I had a blast! So many funny moments (ohh special mention to the whole CUM CUM CUM thing I legit cried w/ laughter lol)

But I think some of my criticism are ... it didn't feel as coherent as a show as we're all doomed (which I saw live) or tatinof (which I have only seen in that vid where they reacted to it lol) (I'm less familiar w/ interactive introverts so maybe tit is more like that idk?) Like narrative wise it was all over the place lol? The initial doll segment was fun until it dragged a bit (felt kinda like the good place time knife meme like yehyeh the 2nd London apartment that was actually 2 we all know about that), some of the audience shouting out segments also felt a bit a bit repetitive (also as someone not in the bottom part of the theatre it wasn't as if they'd hear any of us so it felt redundant to try shouting... also also I don't like shouting lol)

I also think the emotional through line wasn't as strong as wad.. like I did love phil's lil solo part (tho the light was shining directly in my eyes so I could actually see him saying it pfft) & in general ofc loved thr message of community & how as much as I think for a lot of us dnp helped us through a lot of shit, we've helped them through a lot of shit (& sometimes caused the shit lol) like that is lovely & beautiful ofc

But idk... I think maybe the problem was I went expecting a lot more emotional stuff or maybe just like more of a narrative but like idrk if the whole terrible influence thing played that big a role in the general show... so it was mostly just fun & silly which is fine in itself but maybe I just set my expectations to the wrong setting lol???

Idk... I also yhink that maybe im just a different type of phan than a lot of the other people at the show and maybe not the specific phan it was catered for... I've never rly necessarily found that I connected specifically to the phandom community... like idk maybe I've always just kinda been on the edge of it ? But yeh all in all..... I hada good time! It was definitely worth seeing, they're both so good at performing and riffing with the audience & just funny and beautiful ofc like it was a total PLEASURe (phleasure) to see them in their element but I think my own expectations and shitty mood got in the way of me truly vibing with it as much as I had hoped...

back in the VERY early days of this whole au(like. buddys-name-was-still-ryou early) i wanted to base every clones personality/character on a diffrent lion.... but over time it slowly stopped fitting their personalities and i kinda abandoned the concept lol. though you can still see some remnants of that in . certain design choices...

hi i havent been online in a bit or written any diary entries recently bc well i was really depressed and then i just like forgot or whatever. but uhmmm life updates sorta/just how im doing right now.

i will start with the good news :-) i am not depressed! ive been feeling good pretty consistently for the past 2 weeks i think? ive been happy enough to be able to function normally and do all the stuff i need to do. also school swim started so i got to see my crush (the one i talked abt a bunch last year) and i actually need him so bad he's so fine i need him. not much has happened w him (in terms of moments or whatever) but it will soon trust!!!!!! also ive been feeling a bit more confident lately in terms of how i think guys percieve me so i hope maybe that will inspire me to make a move but probably not. oh well.

as for everything else. well. i have been having issues with that one bitch "friend" ofc hoping to hit her with a car sometime soon. but thats not rly new ig. i am kind of having issues too tho with one of my other friends bc he's being weird and annoying. recently hes been extremely sensitive abt just everything which is whatever except he won't tell me, he'll just get upset and try to get me to ask him if he's upset except i won't play that game ugghhhhh if u have a problem with me tell me bc i wont understand otherwise!!! i cannot possibly fathom what he's got wrong with him about me so im not even gonna try. if he wants to fix it he can use his words otherwise no bueno it is not happening!!!!

In all honesty, I don't have a ton of detailed backstory for Remus besides the fact he was unhinged and broke many many laws. His back story is actually pretty similar to my canon!Calypso backstory, but the favored child was his twin and they weren't particularly rich, and he did fake his death, but he was older, and it wasn't because he was locked in a basement for petty theft as a 10 yr old. Okay so maybe it's somewhat different.

I'll summarize by saying he was happily a problem child, very smart, and enjoyed chaos. He got into tons of fights for the hell of it, and ended up faking his death for good in highschool (and again later for funsies)

He would end up running away and accidently meeting a younger Janus while Janus was pulling a job. Jan was still new to his recent profession, which was a form of vigilante-ing and careful assassinations. Remus figured out what was happening and obnoxiously followed and pestered Janus the entire time before saving Jan's life towards the end of the job.

Janus never ended up shaking Remus, tho he tried for weeks to lose him, Remus popped up no matter what he did. Eventually, Janus just accepted it and brought Remus home to meet Virgil, who was thoroughly confused. From then on, the three were a weird little mismatched family.

They meet when Remus was about 18, and Janus was 29, and Virgil was 17ish. When A Moment with Potential takes place, it's about 10 years later

Remus' natural skills and grey morals had him catching on quickly and progressing Janus' growing operations. It only took him a few years to become increasingly well known for his brutal yet frighteningly strategic fight style.

Remus is indeed a bit of a cryptic lil shit, just not in the same way as like,,,, Low Battery!Remus, who is an all knowing menace. Here, he's just a menace. He's very intuitive, logical, and observant, he just doesn't care too much unless it benefits his tiny family. he's super hard to read and harder to control, giving him that cryptic vibe, but he doesn't know everything, he's a bit more affectionate, and he is wrong sometimes.

I apparently have a bit of a trademark for writing Remus as mentioned above, like a 'cryptic little shit' but that's only because I have no idea how else to lmao. I'm not really vulgar by nature, and I don't struggle with intrusive thoughts, which makes it harder to pull from my own life (which is exactly what I do with literally everything I write to some capacity) so I took some creative liberties with Remus and just stuck with them. I personally don't mind when fics feature out of character characters, as long as those new/altered traits are consistent and deeply incorporated into the story, which I try my hardest to do. with Remus, apparently it worked out because people adore this guy. I get so blushy and dumb, but people have really liked my Remus characterization, which honestly, dude, just thrills me. It's pretty damn cool, cuz I love him too <3

I have two sides to me, overly loud/chaotic, and then the quiet side.... who is normally trying to plan how to fucking kill everyone or wishing i wasn't there. Anger issues to the max. My knuckles are scarred due to black outs because at school i bottle up my anger so i don't lash out and hurt someone, so i end up punching brick walls/trees. Very bad anxiety, so I normally bottle everything up until I hit a breaking point. This point could be me either having an anger fit(ex, punching shit, yelling, just in a angry mood), or have a silent breakdown(ex, where i shut everyone out, go nonverbal for a hot minute, and ignore everyone). A lot of the time whenever my anxiety gets overly bad I just end up leaving the place causing it.

I love natures and animals, both literally deserve to be treated better than they are. Half of the animals now days wouldn't act aggressive towards us if we have left them alone. I heavily believe that animals deserve the world.

I game quite a bit, but it goes on and off. I'm more on the creative side(art, writing) so most of the time I don't even think about gaming. Some of my fave songs in general are Miroh, Side Effects, Victory Song, Voices, Spread My Wings, TOP, TA, Easy, Any, Levanter, Insomnia, Rock, Awaken, Hello Stranger. Alsooooo I loved Xdinary Heroes cb, the title isn't that amazing, but the bsides?! It's a bit sad cause I usually love their titles and this is what I wanted: rock inspired, hardcore and noisy concept, but it just didn't hit?
