If we’re talking Owl Song, then Dick isn’t truly catatonic! He just… stopped caring. If we dove into his POV right now it would mostly consistent of fragmented thoughts and memories he’s forcing himself to experience over and over, very much stuck on the desire to… not be there anymore. Like Jason.

And things would turn out a lot better if Jason came back to Gotham with Dick in this state, which is grotesque, but it would prove without fail just how much his death impacted him. Something Jason started doubting during his… questionable stay with the League.

Jason wouldn’t even be able to pin the blame on Bruce for Dick’s state, because the Talon is obviously well taken care of. It’s just that he’s… refusing to interact with any of them, seemingly determined to become another dusty relic in a dead kid’s room. (Like maybe if he tries hard enough, he can go live in the memories of warm nests and alive, alive, alive chirrups and-)

So… yeah, it’s very macabre but Jason coming back early would solve… many things. Because Tim being Robin would be overshadowed by the abysmal state Dick is in. And Jason would have his reassurance that neither Dick didn’t replace him.

I’d say this as 97 has the best voices imo bc some of the voices in Evolution aren’t it 😭 despite me liking this series, as even I prefer the WATX to the 97 VAs for some characters (mainly Gambit and Logan bc Steve Blum is my fave Logan voice after Hugh Jackman)

YES!!! THIS!!! like I'd be satisfied with just a few of them but every single one is perfect!! Although personally when it comes to Kurt in general I prefer his 97' voice, but the one in WATX is so perfect for that take on his character!! AND LOGAN OH MY GOD. literally everything his says gets me kicking and screaming. Like the line after Forge fixes the blackbird?? "The first scratch is always the worst 😏" FUCK. SIR. IN MY PANTS. PLEASE. UGH I NEED HIM SO BAD.
